The company does not follow through with scheduled appointments. Twice I have been scheduled and no one shows up! Poor company service. Please stay away and use someone else! All you get when you call is excuses. NO SHOW cost me a lot of money with my Home Watch person!!!! Also never sign a maintenance control with them!

I have a contract with Cool Today and have had for several years. I was told, with a yearly contract, I would have priority service when needed. They also installed my new AC system which is less than 4 years old. Last Wednesday, I had trouble with it cooling and called to get someone to come check it. Was told they could come between 1-6 the next afternoon. Okay. Shut my system down. Thursday, after rearranging my travel schedule, they called me at 5:30 to let me know the tech was hung up on another job and they would not be able to get there. They wanted to come the next day between 12-6 again but I said no. I was set up for Monday morning between 8-1. I left where I was before daylight to come home and be here to wait arriving by 7:15. . By 10:30 Bob calls and said the tech was running a bit late and it would be after 2 possibly 3. I had had it. This is NOT priority nor how to run a business. When I said I want someone, I don't care between the hours they had booked me for, his comment was let me see what I can do. When he came back on the phone, I was told they would be here between 12-1. The repairman just showed up at 2 pm. I can assure you this will be the last time I use this company. They are no longer reliable, nor have enough people working for them to to continue servicing the customers they already have. I am very disgusted with the whole thing and feel like, they have hit rock bottom. The serviceman is here now. Oh yes, by the way, I got a text message that the service tech was on the way at 12:32 pm. They said I would be notified 30 mins before arrival. Hmmm! He arrived at 2 pm. Enough said!

Whatever you do, DON'T buy a new AC unit from this company! Unless you enjoy having a brand new unit fail multiple times throughout the year! Currently it is 70 degrees outside and 77 degrees in my house. That's unacceptable for a new unit. I've lost count of the amount of times they've been out to get my ac running again. On more than one occasion, they've had to come multiple times in the same week! I could go on and on about how displeased I am with the very big purchase I made with this company just do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake!

Sold us a lemon. AC didn't work right for first two years. Kept needing refrigerant. Finally replaced coil in Air handler. Then the capacitor went bad and system was down again. At year 6 another major component, the compressor goes bad a $3000 expense out of my pocket. Quality assurance dept was a waste of time. They told me they couldn't help me in any way. Don't do business with this company. They will rip you off!

Tech came for an HVAC tuneup. Did about half the work they normally do for a tune up. He left, two weeks later I change my filter (something they normally do during service) and realized he left my air handler unbuttoned. My system was sucking in unfiltered air for 2 weeks. MULTIPLE calls and emails to management have been unanswred.

Cool today Sarasota scammers, or at very least their backflow inspection. If Kevin Boltuch inspecting , run or get your checkbook out, or just get anyone else. i just had different company now and no problems. 1st, CT office tells you definitely must be home, (and probably best anyway or cost you even more) then """"tech"""" Kevin comes out with an attitude, says you don't have to be home, who told you that? They don't know what their talking about. I'm telling you, you don't have to be home! Strangely horrible little man with bad attitude and no customer service. Others on my street and in area also confirm same. Cool today, replaced w/new backflow 10yrs ago, guess old now but no one else on street has any prob with theirs even 20yrs. Every time you get Boltuc inspecting, fiddles around with things, and for my own peace of mind , I had plumber test, before Boltuc came, he said if cool today finds something wrong with backflow , it's a SCAM , but cool today repaired last yr $$, so dumb me, wanted to have inspect again, in case something wrong, sure enough they send ole Boltuc and low behold, doesn't pass and will be hundreds, he said, oh another plumber, diffent equipment , maybe different results. So with the little screwing around he does, shows you """"equipment"""" says doesn't pass. It never passes with Boltuc ! Finally done with that scam, cost you Hundreds$$ every time So sad little scum balls use any shady way to line pockets

AC blower stopped working just as the hot weather hit. Called several places but their wait times were a bit too long as the temps were going even higher. Called Cool Today, spoke with a very pleasant woman and she i9nformed me that a tech would be able to come over in the afternoon. Well, John E. showed up just about at 5:30PM and immediately went to work. Presto-changeo he got the blower to work and we now have AC back in our house. Thank you John and the Cool Air folks for making our lives comfortable again.

Cool Today recently replaced three parts of our AC Unit (capacitor, contactor and compressor saver) and charged nearly $1,000 for the repair job. I contacted the firm by email to enquire about the warranty on the parts and waited for more than one week (8 days to be accurate) for their reply. Unfortunately nothing showed up in the """"Inbox"""". I had to call them this afternoon for the information. Two ladies of the customer service gave me contradictory answers - one saying there is no warranty on both parts and service while the other telling me warranty is totally up to management discretion. I paid $976 for the job, which is significantly higher than what other AC firms quoted (I made enquires about similar jobs to other AC companies afterwards.) My legitimate question is what is the threshold for warranty services - the $2,000 job, or $5,000 one, or $10,000 one? Can they be transparent and post such policy on their website instead of being """"management discretion""""? I deem their charge is exorbitant, service poor, and attitude arrogant. This is my first encounter with Cool Today and unfortunately it turned out to be a sheer shock! This seems to be an expensive and meaningless mistake that we, unfortunately, have learnt in a hard way!

Had duct repair and cleaning the other day. The team they sent Cody, Ivan and William were outstanding in their knowledge and expertise. They were very courteous to me and to each other. They were very neat and made sure they left the house neat. The company charges more than other companies but stand behind their work. They also background check their employees and send pictures before they arrive.
