Pedro performed our regular maintenance on our AC unit. He checked the compressor, changed filters, checked and cleaned the air handler, talked to my wife and I about how to save money on our maintenance, and made us feel like we had made a great decision about working with Cool Today. He's been with the company for 5 years and I'd love to have him as my regular technician. Great customer service!

Came out to inspect backflow and said it failed. The cost to fix it was $700. Got a second opinion and had it done under $100. Thieves!!

Instead of quoting price they want to charge you $60 to send someone out. This is not the way to do business.

Today I had a great experience with COOL TODAY PLUMBING. On time polite the the work was less expensive than we thought it would be . Logan, the Plumber was fantastic. It's funny, last week I had a horrible experience with the ac tech, but this plumber was fantastic.

Buyers Beware...... they promise the world and then don't deliver. I scheduled an appointment over a week in advance with a narrow time opening due to being in a condominium with strict rules on when the water can be shut off for regular maintenance. Even though I jumped through hoops to get everything arranged this company not only missed the window..... they never even showed up at all..... No call... Nothing... Are You Kidding Me? This is how they treat their customers with an annual service contract.

Last year we completely retiled our home. As a result, we were left with a great deal of fine dust on our walls and in our ducts. We decided to have our ducts cleaned but needed an extremely thorough job to get to all that fine dust. We then solicited bids from 3 local vendors to clean the duct, the blower/handler and the dryer vent. We chose Cool Today. They were the most expensive bid (by a considerable amount). But they were the most thorough in their assessment of what we needed done. Their Sales Consultant, Pete Franciosi, came to the house and spent 45 minutes inspecting and analyzing what we needed. He then recommended a series of customized (hand written) expenditures for services based on what he found during his inspection. He explained each so we understood and did not press us to purchase any or all of his recommendations. We signed and scheduled all the services recommended. On the day of our services, two very professional technicians arrived, on time. Chris Norris and Ron White. Both were very pleasant and knowledgeable about what they were going to do at our home. At 9AM they predicted that with everything we needed done they would be here 5 1/2 to 6 hours. As they worked on our home they took time to explain what they were doing and gave helpful suggestions to maintain our system post the cleaning. To our surprise, Pete showed back up to inspect the work and to see if we were satisfied. You rarely see the Sales Consultant come back. In the end, we were completely satisfied we chose Cool Today!

The toilet at my parents house (dad is over 80 and mom is in her 70's) wasn't getting water from the valve into the basin. I arrived a few minutes before the repairman from Cool Today showed up so I didn't have any time to look at the toilet. The repairman looked at the situation and came out and informed my parents that they needed a toilet. The quote he gave us was shocking, $964 to replace a toilet! I was floored. I asked why so expensive. He said labor and the valve needs replacing. Thankfully my mother caught onto this and said she was going to get a few other estimates. My dad though said """"just fix it"""". Looking at my mother I shook my head no. Once the repairman realized they weren't going to have him repair it he said he could now do it for $730 and he'll """"waive"""" the cost of the valve ($230 for the valve??) and that it would only take him about an hour. He got frustrated and said the quote is only good for 24 hours. I looked up the cost of a """"biscuit"""" colored toilet and they're $199 and up. So he was going to charge $765 to install a toilet and then lowered it to $564 to """"close the sale"""". Not bad for an hours work. Low and behold I was able to get the water running into the toilet once he left. All they needed was a new float and internal parts. $24 at Home Depot. Shame on you Cool Today. Terrible. Shameful to prey on older people. I'll make sure to tell everyone I know too as will my parents. They didn't need a """"new toilet or valve"""". Blatant price gouging and taking advantage of elderly people. I'm just glad I was there. How many other elderly people are they preying on that are having these items repaired at ridiculous prices because they don't have anywhere else to go?

That's was not cool at all! My air conditioner stopped so I call and ask someone come to take care about and asked how much will cost subscription to service so I paid $189 for care. At evening technician came checked and replaced small Capacitor which caused issue, it was old enough to start the engine. Sound like a good service but I was shocked when technician charged additional $240 fee for $20 capacitor! That's I think is ridiculous, I work as a NAVY electrical engineer and know pricing, and I think it is awfully wrong. So, for $20 about part my expenses was near $400. I can't recommend this company to anyone who wants a service.

Updated review: Technician was dispatched, confirmed that part they recently replaced is still defective and will replace free of charge. Thanks for following up Britney!

Cool Today 620 Union St #2 Dunedin, FL 34698 (727) 308-2409 11/12/2018 We had a free appraiser come Friday 10/05/2018 for a shower demo with plumbing repair. Ultimately we were looking for someone complete the entire project from demolition to putting in the hardy board and tiling. In essence redoing our shower from start to finish. The total estimate Adam provided was for far more than I would have liked considering he was only going to demo part of the shower (he said because the one wall was an exterior wall that didn't need demolition) he would put in furring strips for the tiler to put the hardy board up. This did not reduce the price at all. Adam being the fast talker he is we agreed. The team came on Monday 10/8 and was to complete the morning of 10/9 as Adam had said during the estimate. Because this took place on weekdays, my husband and I had to work. We had my brother stay to keep the dogs out of the way as well as keep us informed of the progress. Tuesday 10/9/2018. I contacted my brother to see how things were progressing. He told me the shower stall had at one time had termites but there were none active some damage to the studs was all. Due to the damage I was told by Adam, we would need to have the studs replaced. Of course we did (who wouldn't)? Adam said they needed $1100.00 more dollars to replace the studs affected for a total of 6 or 7 2x4s. I was very upset with this. I told him we could replace the studs for less than $100.00. Adam said he would pull the team if we didn't pay, that we could get another contractor to install the studs. He said we would need to get a new permit and that would delay the progress. I told him to continue but I was not happy with the price gouging. He had us there wasn't anything we could do. After I explained this to my husband he too called Adam to tell him this was far too much for the additional work. Adam told him he would just take his workers and leave. We couldn't have that happen as we had paid for the original job then we would have been out that as well. Adam had also said he had to pay the team overtime because they would have to stay late and come back the next day. As above he planned a day and a half. The work the team left behind was subpar to say the least. My brother said the team goofed off much of the time, that even with the new studs they could have been done in one day for the little amount of work they did. Because of that the tiler is costing us much more than need be. We are normally do it your selfers', but this had been a bad year for our health so we were in need of this service. I was having lumbar spine surgery 10/22 and my husband had just had open heart surgery about a year ago. All together we spent over $3800.00 for a shower demo and plumbing to feed the shower. If you were to consider a 12 hour job (remember it could have been done in less than 8) This is an extreme amount to demo one wall, run new pipe through the ceiling about 3 feet and replace 7 studs. Very Disgruntled, Pam & Steve
