I just called the number on the sticker for my 22 year old water heater, it had a 6 year warranty.. it was due, but not broken. I got a callback immediately even though I called on a holiday and said it was not an emergency. Arturo did a complete walkthrough of my space to see what the needs were and what sort of unit he could fit into my tiny water heater closet before he even started any work. Set me up with a drainage system in the event that the heater ever leaks, and tolerated a dog that was very, very excited to have guests in the house. I hope to never have plumbing trouble.. but I for sure will use them again if I do. Great customer service, thorough research on the best solution, respectful of my home (floor protectors) and a very fair price.
Fantastic company. Friendly and responsive, came out and did a flush on our tankless water heater and then looked and a small leak we had. They came up with a fast quality solution that didn't break the bank. I will continue to call for all our plumbing needs.
Patrick C.Good service, troubleshooted issues and ended up hauling a snake to the roof to do clean out the blockage. Installed a new sink too. Fair prices.
The company van parked in front of my house at 8:20 this morning. The plumber was here to service a neighbor's plumbing. Today is trash collection day. My barrels were at the street, as usual. Arturo (I called the number on the van to complain and he gave me his name) moved the black barrel from its position in the street to directly blocking my driveway making it impossible to leave, as I was about to do, without walking down our long steep driveway and finding a spot behind his van to place the barrel. He said ""Oh, I was only going to be there a minute"". I can't imagine why he thought it would be okay to block anyone's driveway.
Oshri S.These guys are honest and great at fixing problems
We've called them several times on different occasions and they came out fast, were very helpful in solving the issue without additional unnecessary expenses
Will S.I've seen Connors Plumbing trucks all over the neighborhood and also when I lived in Mt. Washington. I've had a plumber and am loyal to my people. But man, Angel showed up to do some furnace cleaning and while he couldn't work, he noticed I was running to trash bin to dispose of food before ants get in the kitchen. He suggested I go to the 99 cents store and get orange oil cleaner and spray where the ants are coming in.
I went today. It worked, no ants coming in after 3 hours. You are awesome Angel! And no chemicals I can't begin to pronounce. Totally coolz. For that, a Yelp review and I will def call Connors when my plumber is not available.
Tip: I read some of the reviews about prices, I'll determine that and update mine if I think their prices are fair. Just to compare, I hired my trusty plumber on July 2018 for a rental in La Jolla, CA for toilet line replacement and it was $225. It's not cheap but work is guaranteed, and have known the company for a bit. Seems like Connors has been around for a while also. It's worth the time and headache for me to pay more for guaranteed work and good service than hire a cheap provider and you get shoddy work. Or worse, they have to come back multiple times to fix the same thing. Finally, always get a quote from 2-3 plumbers before you approve a plumbing job. It's worth it. Trust.
I've been using Connors for several years now, Arturo is always polite and professional, has appointments quickly and does great work. Ive had usual plumbing jobs for them, a wall heater install, and some faucets needed work on. And always did the job great, in great time and in professional manner.
Glenn B.Angel Torres was a good guy. Came over, worked hard in the heat, and did what they came out to do for the price they quoted. Only reason it was not 5 stars is that I had to call the office a couple of times to confirm the job, and the way they answered the phone sounded like I had a wrong number. But all in all, I would use them again and liked Angel's work.
Called again for an issie and Arturo came out and was fantastic. very helpful and went above and beyond to help diagnose
Nancy S.Short Review:
Short response times, so if you're in a pickle, they will get the job done and do it properly. There is a $40 service call added to your bill if they do the work.
Long Review:
Like most of us, I've had my rounds with plumbers. Most times, I find the company policies to be ok, but the individual plumbers that come out are hit or miss. I'd been using the same small/local business plumber for 10 years, with the same 1 or 2 guys coming out to help me, and they had done just about everything in my house at one time or the other to my satisfaction. In recent years, they started sending new guys who would come in and tell me whole fixtures needed to be replaced when I knew/suspected they didn't (e.g. the tightening of my kitchen sink sprayer hose instead of being told to totally replace it). Then, they started doing sloppy work, would need to come back and fix their own mistakes, and would charge me another service fee for it. ...time to look for a new plumber. I always want to support small businesses, and that's where Connor's came in.
Now, I NEVER RECOMMEND doing this, but I actually found these guys by seeing their company van on the freeway. I took a pic, then called to ask some questions. I called Angel at 4:30pm and was satisfied with his response that he'd try to get a guy over to my house first thing in the morning- schedules pending. And guess what, true to his word, someone was there by 8:45am. 2 guys - Arturo & Jesus - came to fix the two non-working bathroom sinks, but couldn't because ""they needed to be completely replaced"". All of a sudden, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up because I thought, ""here we go again with the crooked plumbers!"" However, Jesus did actually show me that he was attempting to fix the issue on one sink but couldn't due to heavy gunk build up around the pipes. Now, I guess I could have asked him to just remove the gunk, but the other sink's pipe had broken, so I bit the bullet and said I would buy 2 replacement faucets at Home Depot, if they'd come back and install them the next morning. They said they'd come back the next day at noon.
Well, not only did they live up to their word, but Jesus called me at 8:15 and asked if he could come early. What? A plumber who actually has good customer service and excellent follow through? I was shocked, and gladly said yes! Jesus did a great job, but was there a while installing the sinks. Later on, Arturo came back over to assist him in getting the job done quicker. It was great to see the teamwork among them, but I didn't know Arturo was coming to help, and he just walked right into my house without knocking or ringing the doorbell. Completely unprofessional! I was a little miffed actually.
Anyway, they soon discovered that one of the sink boxes was missing parts, so it couldn't be installed. I asked them if they would please finish up the other sink while I ran back to Home Depot to get a replacement and to my shock, they waited! Took me 35 minutes to go and get back, they installed the sink, and voila! I had two brand new sinks in 3 hours. They had finished the job by noon - when they originally said it would start. I was pretty happy about that, and I was even more appreciative they waited. I'm sure they had more calls.
4 stars for the excellent service, a big minus 1 star for Arturo walking into my home unannounced. That one act might make think twice about calling them again.
Adrian P.Angel has always been there when I call for help with a stopped up sink or a leaking pipe they are fast and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Connors Plumbing.
