Connors Plumbing and HVAC has the longest history plumbing company in Eagle Rock, California. Started by Pat Connors in the late 1920s, Connors is the largest plumbing shop in the area, located at 4684 Eagle Rock Boulevard and at the entrance off Occidental.
The current owners are Jim and Dottie. Jim started plumbing at 16 years old, working for a man he knew as Uncle John, who was not really his uncle.
At 18, Jim enlisted in the Navy and served as a notable member of the Seabees, where he received training in plumbing, heating systems, refrigeration, and water purification. His education occurred at Port Hueneme, and subsequently, he was deployed to the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands.
Jim purchased Connors Plumbing Company from the heirs of Pat Connors.

I have used Connors for years for various projects, including heating, gas lines, water heater installation, and general plumbing repair. I have never had anything other than excellent service. The technicians are pro's, and since this is a local company you get to know them. I have always considered them straight shooters - no low-balling, no upselling, just good work and good advice. Jim Kimball takes a personal interest in his customers; he's bailed me out of a tight spot more than once. As for the price, all I can say is that I have always gotten my money's worth. I'd rather pay once for a job done right. Great people to do business with.

As always...another.... ""done deal...done right""....Angel & Jesus fixed our sewer line. Always GREAT service......pleasure to do business with....Linn H

Today is the third time I have used this company... I am very pleased with their service and professionalism... I called and they were at my house very quickly for a broke water pipe... and the rates that they charged were very reasonable.... I have used several different Plumbers in the ""area"" as I like sticking and giving business to locals.... but Connors by far has been the best...... Thank you..

We have had consistently solid and friendly service from Connors for years. They are not the cheapest, but they do the job right and will work with you to fix it in the most economical way possible while still maintaining quality. I'm surprised to read some of the other negative reviews here on Yelp. I can't speak to anyone else's experience, but wanted to chime in and say we have only good things to say about Jim, Angel, and Connors Plumbing. Highly recommended.

This is a GREAT company to do business with. I have used them several times, and they are consistently on time, professional, competitive, do great work and are honest! Angel performed the most recent service at my residence, and he was very pleasant and tidy. I highly recommend Connors Plumbing and Heating.

Great and prompt service. The guys came to replace galvanized pipping and they found mostly copper underneath and were totally honest about the work I didn't need..... That's all you can Ask for and so rarely happens.

Jim and his crew are professional, got the job done on time and were reasonably priced. I had two wall heaters installed by them and they did the job quickly and even came back to fine tune the placement of the heater once it was installed for no extra charge.

I wanted to change my floor heater and window ac units to central air. Arturo came to the house and told me how it would be done and then he did it. The installation is exactly as he said it would be and I have not had any problems at all. I sure am glad I added central heat since it has been a cold winter. I thought the pricing was fair and was competitive with other bids i received. Highly recommended.

Angel is truly an angel. With the stress of an interior leak, bubbling paint, and frantic tears, he came to our rescue once again today. Our work is not done yet, but I have confidence in Connors. Angel found our leak with very little drywall damage, and he is trustworthy.

Never again! Called Conners to change a dishwasher hose. Everyone has a plumber story, mine is Conners Angel. What a nightmare. A week later the owner said he would ""eat it"" and send another plumber to fix it.
The owner tried to say he wasn't responsible for the trade people he has working for him. Excuse me I caller Connors Plumbing not Angel's Plumbing.
Oh, $325 to change the hose! I got hosed alright. Angle had the nerve to tell me he couldn't find the part, and charged me for the time he went looking for it. The owner, Jim, gave him a piece of a hose that looked like a gas pump hose and two clamps at the end of the day to do the job. That didn't work because the water didn't drain out of the dishwasher. When I called Angel to tell him the water wasn't draining out of the dishwasher he said he knew a good dishwasher repairman. That was Friday, he said he would come and look at it Monday at 3:30 and never showed up. Hey, by now my check has been cashed.
Why should I go on. I'm going to move on. WARNING, WARNING WILL RODGERS! DANGER, DANGER!
I'll go back to Mike Diamond, even at double their prices it is still less than what Conners ripped me off for.
There are too many plumbers out there, especially in Los Angeles. I wouldn't call Conners - and I mean con man kind of conners- again if my life depended on it. I sh-t in London, I sh-t in France, before I call Conners again I'll sh-t in my pants.
