AC went out on the hottest day of the year (also a Sunday), we were out all day and came home at 9:00pm to a very warm house. Found AirBenders on Yelp with great reviews and 24/7 service so gave them a call and rolled the dice. By 9:30 I had a call back and an appointment was scheduled as soon as the tech was done with another appointment. He was at our place by 11:30 and had the AC back up and running by 12:30. Even given the late night the tech took the extra time to talk through details and check out other parts of the system to provide recommendations and advice.

We'll be replacing our outdated HVAC soon and AirBenders will be on the short list when the time comes. I will use them again and would recommend.

This company is awesome on so many levels! We bought a house for the first time and we had some painting and electrical work that were underway when we realized our air ducts were not connected properly. The house was cooling it's floor joices instead of the rooms. We were on such a tight timeframe since the painter was still there to patch the work and paint. David from AirBenders came out THAT DAY and fixed our ducts.
Then I realized they do so much more than heating and air! I asked David to give me a quote for some other work in the house and it was so reasonably priced we had him come back the next day to demo our closet (there was a weird bench in there).

We've now been homeowners for all of three weeks and we just discovered a leak in our bathroom faucet... I'll be calling AirBenders again!

Called these guys at noon on 18JUN because AC had stopped working. They made an appt for 1600 (or earlier) on 19JUN. Tech called 2 hours early and asked if he could come early. He came early. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, armed with all tools and expertise; had the AC up and running again in a few minutes. Did a series of other checks to make sure the rest of the system was good to go and had me sign off on a tablet device. Even talked me through what he was doing and answered my questions so I actually learned something. Done.

Summary: The tech came on time. He was polite and worked quickly. He fixed the problem. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need, and he even provided some other diagnostic services that he could have gotten away with *not* doing. He cleaned up after himself, and he used 21st century accounting & payment processes.

Final price less than $300. Honestly: I don't think it gets better than that.

This very professional company came in and diagnosed and pointed out the design flaws in our system. They gave us a couple possible Solutions. They replace an AC unit with the size unit for the design we have. They also followed up by checking all our other systems in the building. Me as manager of Security Public Storage can say they will be the first company I will contact in the future.

My 18 year old heater/AC was on the fritz last week so I consulted Yelp and my local neighborhood site to get 4 quotes for a full replacement system including a new water heater. All the companies including AirBenders arrived at the promised time to inspect and spent time explaining the various options and brand recommendations and sent me quotes a day or so later. No complaints about the other firms but we selected Airbenders because they seemed knowledgeable and gave me confidence the job would be done well and they offered a good product (TRANE) with options at various price points. It was not an emergency so we settled on an installation just this past Friday 1/12. Three techs arrived early in the day and spent the entire day removing the old system and installing the new one. Everyone they sent was polite and happy to explain what the were doing when I checked in on them. They took care to not track dirt around and cleaned up after themselves. I am no expert but the job looks very well organized and very professional. There was followup work scheduled the next day to add a down stairs return vent and the day after that to patch the wall upstairs. Both those jobs, especially the wall patching look great. Our Contact, Dave called a day later to check up on our satisfaction and we reported some un-even heating from room to room and we assured us the issue would be resolved this week with some ""adjustments"". We will update this review if necessary but I would recommend this company for your replacement system. UPDATE - a tech arrived as promised and corrected the uneven heating issue, we are happy campers!

We tried to install a nest thermo by ourselves and messed it up. We called AirBender guys on a really cold Saturday. They still came in, fixed the broken fuse and installed the nest. When they came in the room, they took their shoes off or wore shoes covers in case to dirty the floor. They answered our questions and were polite. The price is as quoted.

Called for an estimate and was told I would receive a call back from a technician and did not. Called to follow up and again, was told I would receive a call back from a technician and did not. Don't waste your time.

Edit: Got a call back/VM after writing this review, but have already moved on with another company. Did not appreciate the tech lying about calling me several times previously - I doubt my phone didn't ring / show a missed call all the other times but suddenly works after this review is posted.

Airbenders came to install a new A/C system and heat pump. David J was knowledgeable, pointed out the deficiencies of our current system. Airbenders was competitively priced. Job was done in a day. So far so good -- all works smooth.

I recently used these guys to Install a new unit for my house and I was extremely pleased with the level of service and honesty. They provided me a proposal without any pressure and everything was explained in detail to me. I had gotten other quotes also and based on the unit (Trane) they recommended and the work required I was was pleased to give them my business. The technicians were very clean and organized and arrived at the promised time. They did run behind a little but I know the area where they were working was very tight and completely understand the delay it took. I signed up for the annual maintenance contract which guarantees that as long as I maintain that the system is warranted for many years to come. Highly recommend.
