we had Air benders attend to a complaint from a tenant in a condo last summer as the tenant was saying there was no cool air. they recommended a completely new system as the current one was almost 12 years old And this seemed reasonable as we were told a year ago that it was on it's last legs.. So $3,400 later the air in the condo was cool. Fast Forward to December 2014 New Tenant says the heat is not working well. A different repair person came over and saif they Air benders did NOT replace anything of importance on the old system... He again ""patched it up"" and we are hoping to get a few more years out of it Shame on us for not inspecting the work but one would think this would not be necessary after you have shelled out so much money... Bad bad business.... When you lose trust you lose everything If you use these guys buyer beware Hire an inspector to follow along behind them....

I called these guys to assess a few of the major systems in our house. I didn't want to have to call 3 different contractors, and I was really happy that they could do all 3 -- HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

David came out to give assess our systems. Basically he told us what we already knew, that we needed replace furnace, a/c and garbage disposal. He gave us a great price on that, and said he would make everything look nice and just make everything functional.

A few days later, their team came out and did the full install over 2 days, and it was overall a good experience. The only disconnect happened at the end, when we got a call that the job was about 30-40 minutes from complete so we could meet them for the final walk through. It ended up taking more like 2 hours, and that was just a big inconvenience because we had to just sit and wait while they finished. The guy that was there to finish the walk through was unable to tell me if everything was done because he only did a portion, so I had to call David to confirm that everything had been done. It would have been better if someone could confirm that everything was done with me in person, after all I'm no expert and I could only take their word for it.

Still, the work that I did see was really great and very cleanly done. They took initiative to make our furnace/water heater room make more sense and we are very happy!

Bottom line: reasonable price, fast response, they do it all, definitely would use and recommend Airbenders!

I wanted to update my review since I wrote in September. Over the last month Air benders installed Nest and moved an electrical socket (which required moving my stackable washer/dryer, no easy feat), they continue to provide excellent service at reasonable prices. Next year I hope to renovate my bathrooms, they will be my first stop!

When my hot water heater just went out several days ago, I decided to call around to get price quotes for replacement/install. When I called Air Benders, I was thrilled with the price I was quoted and went ahead and booked installation. About 20 minutes after booking, Air Benders called back and told me that whoever I spoke with gave me an inaccurate price quote and that the job would be $200 more than I was quoted. Um... really? Working in the customer service industry myself, I would expect this to be a time where you honor the stated price and take the loss for the sake of earning a new customer and providing excellent service. Feeling that this was just shady, I called several other plumbers for quotes and found a local business that after explaining how much I did not want to give my money to Air Benders, matched the price quote Air Benders had given me and did a wonderful job from their customer service over the phone to their quality of work. Will definitely recommend neighbors and friends to trust their plumbing needs and money with a company that stands for customer relationships and quality service, NOT Air Benders.

Our tankless hot water heater (a Navien brand appliance) went out on a Saturday morning a couple of weeks ago. Air Benders had previously provided an annual maintenance for the appliance so we called them first to see if they could come out that day. They set up an appointment to come out that afternoon and did not give us the ""after hours"" gimmick charges that another company wanted to charge us. After a short time evaluating our system, David honed in on our problem (an internal leak) and was able to order the part for us, through the manufacturer, and have it delivered three days later. By working with us to order the part through the manufacturer, David saved us several hundred dollars because the manufacturer provided the part under warranty. Our water heater has been working great ever since they serviced it and we feel that Air Benders gave us a great value for our money. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing an emergency repair.

we just moved back into a rental property that has been rented for over 15 years and the cooling system on the third floor was non-existent. i call AIRBENDERS and the President (David) showed up at my doorstep with one of the BEST attitudes and customer focus i have experienced in a very long time.

the advice he provided was tremendous. it was clear from the start he was not trying 'up sale' me on the service call but his goal was to build a customer relationship that will last for years.

i gladly paid for the low service call price requirement, but the advice David provided will save my family money for many years to come and not just with this current home.

I am a Full Time Realtor, Real Estate Investor, Landlord and small time Builder. I have hired many HVAC Companies through out the years. When I met the owner of Airbenders through our Investment partners, I knew from that moment that I have found my HVAC company for all my Real Estate Investments. I like specifics..Here are reasons

1) Yearly Contract. I have 6 Rental Properties. with a small fee, I get to have HVAC system checked twice a year. Keeps my tenants happy and keeps the system in good health

2) David and his team are always available-Weekends, After Hours. Emergency!

3) They send you notification Emails every step of the way. Sometimes it may be annoying., But its good to know who is coming to meet you. I would improve this system a bit, but overall it works for us.

4) They do understand from every Aspect of the Real Estate Investment- I have used them in my new built home, rehab project and small job of gas leak.

5) Price-Its way less expensive than Major Companies..

I had my whole system replaced in February. Heating and Air --... Everything worked fine... UNTIL I turned my AC on for the first time the other day and my basement flooded. Every 10 minutes that the AC was on about a gallon of water shot into my house and all over the basement floor. I called Airbenders and was advised to turn the system off. I did so reluctantly. When the technician came back out I was told that in order to fix the tubing I would have to pay an additional $180 to get it to stop flooding. As a single mother I dont have that money and explained that nicely the first time I was told that I NEVER paid for new piping/tubing to begin with. That was okay.. until they changed their story and stated that I must have been the one that broke the line and caused the flooding myself. I don't touch the system, only the thermostat. I was told that because I was given ""such a deal"" on the system to begin with that it would cost me to pay for their negligence. At the end of the day they did a temporary fix, and I was told that because I was so ""threatening"" to them that I could go buy th $10 part at Home Depot and fix it myself. Luckily I have friends that work with another company doing HVAC and they are going to come in and fix it for me for free.

Would not reccommend this company to anyone.
