Hector Baltazar was the air conditioning repair person that graciously showed up late in the evening to fix my air conditioning. He was friendly and diligent. He was thorough and worked until 10:00 pm to make sure it worked before he left. He put up with my very obnoxious dogs which is always appreciated.

Awesome and knowledgeable technician, but their customer service people on the phone will scam you and tell you there isn't a service charge. A service charge will be required at the end of the job even if the job it's fixed.

This company is scamming their customers I called them to fix my AC the lady who answered my call never disclosed $89 service charges a technician by name of Victor showed up he was confused for the first 20 minutes although I told him it is a freon problem upfront finally he said there is a freon leak but refuse to test where is the leak I told him that I have being developing single family homes for 30 years but he was trying to get me to change the whole system starting from the furnace to the coil system to the air compressor I ask him to give me a price for each service as old car sales person he told me it would be expensive I replied I did not ask if it is expensive or cheap I asked for estimate so he volunteered telling me variably that to change the coil system by itself would cost between $7500 to $8500 when I called around I found out that the average cost between $1600-2500 the man asked me to pay the $ 89 dollars service charge which I did he promised by the end of the day I will get to separate estimates one for the leak fixing and another to change the system they never bazar to send any estimate for 3 days now these people are nothing but con artists they convince people to pay $ 89 a month for AC maintenance to maintain the AC that's over $1000 a year first they do trying to convince their customers that the system they have needed to be updated so the can gouge them this is a dishonest business owner I don't not blame the employee but the owner I will be reporting him to the state license contractor board to all consumers dealing with Cole services my professional opinion this business is set up to gouge people stay away from them

I have a 68-year-old house with the original plumbing. I had verbally contracted with another company to remove and install a new soft water tank system. While they were friendly and communicative, they dropped the ball at the most important time. A pipe connection disconnected during a pre-prep (just basic cleaning up before they were to install). Not only did they not offer to even try to fix the problem (they were Plumbers!!!) they dumped me to find a plumber to ""assess"" the situation.

My dear neighbor suggested Cole. I got right on the phone with their 800# and was immediately connected to a very sweet and kind employee who took all my info and scheduled me the earliest appointment they had available.

The lead team arrived promptly and came prepared to not only do work if they could that day, but also with an estimate on what needed to be done. Enrique and Oscar (Supv) were knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. Oscar took the time to explain what needed to be done and steered me away from the other company's product to the Halo system. Oscar was very unhappy for me that I had been left by the other company to hunt down another plumber.

I advised Oscar that my hot water tank was getting very old and was probably ready to bottom out. Oscar then contacted the business office and arranged to add a new water tank to my contract. All was done very professionally and promptly.

At 3:00 pm when they arrived I had a good idea of what I needed, and what they offered and agreed to have them do the work. They started that day! They worked their bu** off until 8 pm! They completely demo'd the old plumbing and cabinet, and put in a new hot water tank and a new soft water system! By 8:00 pm I had soft water and hot water! One of the installation team advised that he was concerned about the two systems being so close together without a circuit breaker in case of a short, lightning, etc., and advised they would be out the next day to install it. That so put my mind at ease! Never once throughout the process did I ever feel I was being upsold, pushed, or made feel taken advantage of. I'd like to say it all ended there, but the next morning when the crew arrived to do the circuit breaker... about 20 minutes later I was asked to come outside. They smelled gas and had traced the pipe to the source of the leak. I was mortified. They sprayed the soapy water on the pipe and it just bubbled right up. The smell of gas was nauseating.

Oscar came right back out to the house and advised the best and safest course of action was to put in a new gas line. I was lucky in that the one that was going bad was already on the outside of my house. I completely agreed and Oscar immediately contacted their business office to add that to my already existing contract. It was all done smoothly. They were at my house from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm. By the time they had finished, everything was cleaned up, swept, and spotless. You would have never known they had been there. They showed me the old pipe that had almost rusted through in two places. It was a disaster waiting to happen.

All in all, did I want to spend an incredible amount of money to have all the extra done, no, but truthfully, I think it was an omen and meant to happen the way it did. Had I stayed with the other company, I know for certain they would not have detected the gas leak as they would only have been putting in the soft water tank and leaving. Cole saved the day and probably my house and life. I would more than highly recommend them! You have to listen to your gut, it'll never let you down.

I would give a zero if possible. Lies and high pressure tactics were used to get me to approve installation of a new water heater. I was then overcharged and unable to get a receipt or paperwork on the new unit. I feel this company is outright dishonest.

last year I had Cole come to my 73 year old house to replace the original cast iron plumbing. A perfect job with new pvc upgrade. Fast forward to yesterday. Had a slow draining clog in the bathroom sink. I could have called 1 of 3 plumbers within 4 miles from home, but decided on Cole. Glad I did. Drazen arrived within 2 hours of my call, was polite, friendly and very professional. Even asked at the door if I would prefer booties over his shoes. He removed the trap and went right to the clog. 15 minutes later the job was perfectly done. The best part was Cole gave me a slight discount for senior rate and/or repeat customer. Total price was 30%!! cheaper than all other bids. My hot water heater is a little long in the tooth so when it goes out, guess who I'll call to replace it. Cole is my only choice on plumbing needs.

I would NOT recommend this company. They took advantage of my wife. They used scare tactics to pressure her into buying a new furnace. I urge you to look elsewhere and I certainly would not trust them in your home with your wife.

I called Cole Services out as my hot water system went out. They said it would be a $69 diagnostic fee which I was ok with. When they arrived they just said replace the system as it was old. I asked them for a price. They said it would be $4,600. A new hot water system that my house has costs about $900. Let's say another $100 for parts (retail prices). That leaves $3,600 for a couple of hours work. As soon as they got here they showed no interest in diagnosing anything or looking to see if it could be fixed. Let's say it would take them 3 hours to install it (it should take about a two hours, but lets include travel time, etc.) That is $1,200 per hour for labor. They just wanted to upsell me and charge me an unfair amount of money. I feel they tried to rip me off. I will not be using them.

Okay, I used Cole Services for years.
My mistake!
I had and STILL have a combustion problem in my indoor heating system. They replaced a faulty combustion safety system. I still have same problem after paying them to take care of the issue. It took a day till they got the part, they installed it and have the same problem like before. The heater comes on and then shuts itself off with in a minute or less, so I had to shut the system off out of fear what might be combustion happening. They did the same thing when they instated first and inspected the problem. Shut everything off for security and combustion reasons. They were concerned till they got the new part in. I am elderly, 70 years old and I need to be warm. After calling Cole and reported that I have the same safety issues they told me it would be for another 5 days till they can send somebody out to look at it. It is just ridiculous, super dangerous and they do not have ANY comprehension what the technicians are doing or not doing out in the field. They endanger their customers. After all we are talking about gas and combustion. It is not a picnic!!! So I can only warn you about working with Cole. They have no regards whatsoever for their and in my case longtime clients. Stay away and be safe!!!!!!! Choose another company!!!

I've been a customer of Cole Services almost ten years and have spent upwards of $47000.00 on past projects, however my last experience with Cole Services was a nightmare. On 11/21/2023 a routine service call turned into a scam by Salesman/ supervisor Mike Tovar who ignored our heating and air warranty and tried to sell us a new heat exchanger coil and all new ducting. Not only did he charge upwards of triple the cost but failed to honor our warranty. It took me a month to reach an acceptable solution. We will not be using Cole Services from here on.
