Lied to me! Told me my compressor and fan along with my AC Coil went bad due to a bad filter! Told me their manager would come out to verify the findings. Told me it would cost more to fix then it would to replace. Charged me $85 for the service call. Wanted $9,000 to replace. I made a call to another plumber who recommended a repair man. Within 1 hr of the repair man showing us and a new capacitor installed my AC is working! Cole doesn't understand some people trust but verify before handing over $9,000! RIP OFF!! DON""T EVER HIRE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay where do I start....
On 4-18-16 my central air unit just stopped working! For the last 3-4 years I have been dumping money into this unit ($300-500) every other year and this time it was gonna cost us more than $2k to have it repaired and that wasn't gonna happen. So we decided to start shopping for a new unit (AC/HEATER). After doing our research and contemplating between several companies we decided to have Cole's come out to our home and give us an estimate. Gabriel Gonzalez (VERY PROFESSIONAL) came out the very next day to inspect the property and gave us all the break down of what he had to offer (NO PRESSURE WHAT SO EVER). After he left our home for a few hours my wife and I decided to go with them. Called them back and spoke to Rosco (THIS GUY CAN MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE POSSIBLE) closed the deal over the phone.

Now this is where it gets better!!!
The very next day we had two technicians Rosalio and Jonathan came out to our home to remove and install the new units (AC/HEATER). They were very careful and VERY VERY polite from start to finish. I'm a technician myself (I KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR) and these guys were very professional and they really know what they're doing. They kept their work area clean and organize and was always careful through out the whole process. Because of this two technicians (Rosalio and Jonathan) I will always go to them for future needs. Why heck I already recommended them to friends and neighbors!! Guys keep up the good work!!

They arived on time as advertized, quoted a price up front. I only had a stopped up toilet and in retrospect SHOULD have done the 99 dollar plumber drain cleaner. But by and large they are as good as anyone else in the field. Be careful if you ONLY have a stopped up drain, shop around. I spent sixty bucks needlessly, but that is MY fault, not theirs.

Fortunately I don't have to use a plumber often but in recent weeks I've had some plumbing issues with a rental property (condo) that I own. I generally do not use the HOA contracted plumber since they charge more for the same quality of work. I called Cole based on good experiences with them in the past. The dispatcher was friendly and put me at ease. Cole came out to fix a problem with the flex lines attached to my Hydronic heating unit. They arrived at the unit within the timeframe promised and even called ahead 15 minutes or so prior to arriving. They recommended replacing the aging Hydronic heating unit but never pressured me into doing so. Their HVAC specialist Aaron and all others I've dealt with were very professional. They also price matched the quote I got from another plumber and took an additional $25 off. As long as I continue to receive the same level of service I plan to continue using Cole Services.

Update on 4/14/2016

I increased one star because of call from Rosco at Cole Services. I was suprised they actually called to make things right. Rosco offer to send his technican to check my air condition. He offer to refund the $79 and replace the capacitor for free. However, I truned it down, because it wasn't about the money. I spoke to Rosco for about 30 minutes, he really really tried to make things right. BUT, I have Home Depot Technican coming in two days and want to check if Cole Services were actually offering fair market price. I won't tell Home Depot Technican anything about Cole Service visit. I haven't report to BBB as I was planning to. Let see in couple of days. May be I was wrong about these guys, but why so many unhappy customers and two quote I got for $150 to $200 on capacitor change. I told Rosco I appreciate his call and offers, but I really really want to get second opinion.

These guys are terrible. I was really unhappy with them, but I wasn't going to write a review.
But, after my wife called and told me our air condition and heater is not working, i'm going to explain what happened.

on 4/2/2016 technican John came out to do just normal mainteance on my air condition before summer approach.
He was very pleasant until he try to over charge me for everything. He inspected the air condition and told me I had to change the capacitor ($312), charge the puron ($200), and also I have a leak some where which will cost $300-$400 at least. While he was getting a filter from near by Home Depot, I checked the capacitor on Amazon, guess what it was under $30. After seeing the price on Amazon, I lost total trust. So, I searched the web and called couple of places for changing the capacitor, one place quoted $175 another place $150 to $200.
When John came back, I told him to change the old capacitor back and I will get a second option.

Today is April 8, my wife just called and told me both heater and air condition is not working.
I called Home Depot and arranged technican to come out on 4/16. Let see what Home Depot
technican has to say.


I don't know why my location is set at Las Vegas, but this happened at Torrance.

STILL ONE STAR... ok it has been almost two weeks since Matthew and Gabriel were at our house. I have not received a printed quote or a call back at all. but I did receive credit cards from Wells Fargo... Issued by Cole Services. What they did not tell me was when they checked my credit for financing it automatically generates a line of credit with Wells Fargo. We did not want or ask for it... OH and the amount i qualified for in no way would have paid for what they wanted to do. basically stay away this company sucks.

I had a clog in my laundry drain which I couldn't fix. Never called Coles before, but I'm glad I did. Jim was prompt, professional and efficient. He fixed the clog and told me what he was doing. He arrived on time, fixed the clog, cleaned up and then he left. What more could you want? Great!

Best experience with an HVAC company I've ever had! I was very skeptical having Cole come out to my house because I've never used them and had a lot of bad experiences with HVAC companies in the past. My AC wasn't working so I had to bite the bullet and try again. Just had John Banks leave my home, and I will never call any other company again. Not only did John get my AC working again, but he didn't try to just tell me I needed to replace everything like these other guys. He walked me through exactly what the problem was and why and had me feeling completely confident about his repairs. Quick. Cheap. And thorough! Loved them! Finally found an AC company!
