If you have a propane issue, there are very few. Brendan came and fixed a low propane pressure issue that we had with pool heater. Great job, quick, and cordial.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I feel that this was just wrong. Along with several other items we had a toilet that was not flushing acceptably. We thought it just needed a new flush valve. Cold is on the Right said we needed a new wax ring and a new angle stop. After they completed that work they said it still wasn't flushing correctly because the septic was over full. We believed them and had the septic pumped. After the septic was pumped the septic guy said it really didn't need it, that everything was fine with the septic tank. So I'm left with a toilet that doesn't flush and a bill for the toilet work and the septic pump. Zero progress. My total outlay on that could have covered a new toilet, vanity and bathtub. Another plumber later said the toilet probably didn't have enough of a drop to the septic and the best solution would be to go from the old 3 gallon flush model to a modern low flow toilet. He did that without replacing or charging anything.

We needed a water heater replaced. We considered several companies and narrowed to Cold Is On The Right and two others. Brendin, the crew lead, came by our home to assess the situation. We discussed options and decided to go tankless. Their price was competitive with other companies and we selected Cold Is On The Right because they were more knowledgeable and easier to work with than the other companies. Brenden showed up with a crew and made sure they knew exactly what to do and he went over everything with me. Their crews show up in twos, one master plumber and one assistant, so that while the master plumber is doing the technical work the assistant is handling everything else; very efficient which means saving us money. They covered our wood floors and carpet. Our original water heaters were removed, the attic was modified to mount the tankless and our tankless was installed and running in no time. I talked with the crews about what they were doing and about some other things we were considering, water softener for one. They were friendly, easy to work with and made useful suggestions. Everything was completed to our satisfaction including our flooring was kept in perfect condition. In the end I felt like they were part of the family. We love our tankless water heater and think Cold Is On The Right is the best choice.

Again, they come to my rescue! I was worried I would need a full overhaul in my shower and in 5 min and a few bucks (less than the hundreds I thought), it was fixed. Thanks so much!

Thank you Brandin and your team for "pimping" my shower fittings and getting my refrigerator water up and running. Cold is On The Right is a quality company that shows compassion and integrity in their work. I heard about them from my brother who owns his own company and calls Brandin and his team anytime he needs a job done right. Not only were they prompt, polite, and respectful of my budget but they also politely put up with my dog who was very vocally excited that guests were here. I needed a bid on my water heater repairs and they had that for me on site, not just one of those about so much money, but a proper bid in writing for our future business. I am also happy to be doing business with a local company! I will talk with you guys very soon for my other plumbing needs! Thank you and Happy Holidays!

This is the second time that we've worked with Cold is on the Right Plumbing. The same professionalism, courtesy and expertise shown through to solve my expired water heater situation. Yes, the tandem teams of Brendin-Nate and Billy-Mike worked expeditiously and cleaned-up as they went---even the bill was not exorbitant. Wow, twice winners, and we expect many more ---it's an old house, and it'll be nice knowing that we can depend on Brendin and his team.

I have nothing but 5-Star things to say about the folks at Cold is On The Right--especially Brendan who went above and beyond with both customer service and plumbing service to make wrong very right. I will try to make my story short--but how I got engaged with this company sets the stage.

One morning I walk into a garage full of flowing water resulting from my water softner busting. Flowing like a river out of the garage. Luckily the garage is pitched enough it was flowing into the street. I attempt to turn off the water, but I couldn't muster the strength and needed the tool. Coincidentally driving by was a truck--Cold Is On The Right--I frantically wave them down, explain the situation and they were on it without question. Brendan and his colleague turned off the water and fixed the issue for that moment while I set up an appointment for them to come out the next day to remove the softner and install a completely new water filter system. Everything was done on time, without problems and everything was explained in detail--patiently and thoroughly. I was so pleased and couldn't say enough praise for saving the day and more headaches for me.

Fast forward a month. I leave on a week's vacation on a cruise. I come home, about two hours later after unpacking I go into the garage and I see water all along the sheet rock of the house across the entire upper step of the garage floor. Upon inspection there was a minor drip coming from the elbow of the PVC pipe of the new filtration system that was put in (see above). Keep in mind--it has been a week so this drip had plenty of time to make its way into a standing puddle that made its way into a room in the house and the hallway.

I immediately call them and leave an urgent message. Brendan called back I think within the hour (give or take) and was out there within the hour of that. He immediately took action to fix the leak and inspected the entire areas that were affected. From that point it's taken about 5 weeks to get everything done because of the process it needed to be done--and all is back to normal. What needed to be done?

--Water Restoration which took about 4 days to dry out the walls, base boards, carpet. Pads were removed. They also removed the furniture out of the bedroom.
--Replacement of sheet rock in a garage and priming. Brendan and his team cut through the entire wall of sheet rock in the garage prior to restoration folks to ensure drying.
--Flooring: Replacement of carpet pads and reinstalling original carpet back in place.
--Replacement of furniture back in its place in bedroom.
--Painting: As an added gesture of apology Brendan offered to paint my entire garage--which was completed yesterday. Looks fantastic.

And this was all at NO COST to me or my insurance because the issue stemmed with Cold Is On The Right. They owned the issue and took every step possible to make it right and to make sure work was done right.

Brendan was frequent in calls, texts and follow up calls to keep me informed every step of the way and to make sure after all work was complete I was happy.

I could not be more pleased at this experience--GOOD always comes from bad and I will always use and refer Cold Is On The Right.

Feel free to message me with further questions if you'd like to hear more.

We had a water issue late Friday before Memorial Day weekend. I contacted 4-5 plumbers via their website and Cold is on the Right was the first to respond. I loved that they are comfortable using both phone and email to communicate as I often don't have my phone with me or am unable to take calls.
They contacted me on Tuesday for a Wednesday appt. They did run late from their scheduled time, but Kari called to let me know the adjusted time (after the initial window had passed). The plumber was friendly and fast.
I'd recommend.

I asked them to connect my new washing machine. Connecting a washing machine sounds easy enough, right? Well, I bought a new washer from Lowe's to replace an irreparable washer and Lowe's installers could not remove the old hoses from the faucet. They were stuck or corroded together. I tried WD40 and it didn't work. I called CIOTR as they were highly rated on this and Yelp, and were reasonably close to my home. I had to go out of town in 2 days and they were able to come the next day. Brendan came right on time, and in trying to remove the old hose, and the pipe broke, pouring water in the laundry room. Brendan ran out of the house to find and shut off the house water supply. It made quite the mess, soaking a carpet and bathroom rugs. The only reason I gave CIOTR 5 stars even though they probably should have shut the water off preventatively but that may be too demanding on my part. Because once the pipe broke, new faucets had to be brazed on both hot and cold water and the job took over 3 hours, which they said should have been billed at $375. But, to their credit, they honored the original quote.
