Things happen and when they don't sometimes go right you really get to see what kind of a company your dealing with. One of Dan's plumbers came out for a repair and fell through my ceiling, like I said things happen. The mess was cleaned up as much as possible that visit and when I spoke with Dan he said he would cover the repair expenses. He suggested a contractor but allowed me to also make calls and get quotes from whoever I chose. It turned out the person that Dan recommended was also the person I felt most comfortable working with. The repairs were done quickly, in a quality manner and the bill was given straight to coastline. I have used coastline before and always felt they were the most knowledgeable, thorough and reasonable company out there. Dan couldn't have been more accommodating and even my plumbing repair costs were waved.

I just had these guys out to look at my water heater. I bought a condo and ran into a host of plumbing-related issues that Coastline took care for me, no stress, competitive pricing, and solid customer service. They replaced my water heater for me, and were on hand when a water leak sprung up (turned out to not be me, whew), replaced my kitchen faucet and got me hot water running in the kitchen again, even adjusted the bathtub drain that wasn't quite holding or draining water quite right. Dave was friendly and professional, worked fast but double-checked all his work, and was a hella cool guy to boot. Definitely will be calling these guys again, though I hope I don't have to!

This is an overdue review. I had a gas leak and Dan sent out his plumber who was quick, efficient and very honest. He quoted me more but when the job finished quicker than he thought, he only charged 70% of the original quote. This is the most trustworthy plumber/ contractor I never had. Strongly recommended!

I am remodeling my kitchen and asked coastline to install a dishwasher, garbage disposal, and faucet. Todd with great honesty told me that i could save a lot of money by doing it myself. He even explained how to do most of it. I am impressed by the integrity of this company. They put my best interest before making a profit. Coastline plumbing just earned a loyal customer! My tenant loves bacon.

Okay, yea you like bacon too. We all do. That's nice. But my tenant LIVES on bacon. And up until recently, I realized he'd been pouring his bacon grease down the kitchen sink for some time, on a consistent basis.

Pro tip: Don't do this.

When my sink finally plugged up from the coagulated grease and whatnot, in addition to what ended up being some (possibly unrelated) pipe damage, I called Coastline Plumbing because of their high rating on Yelp.

Dave from Coastline, a seasoned veteran of the plumbing game, was not only accurate and efficient, he was extremely easy going and respectful of my home. For example, he was observant enough to notice that I remove my shoes in my home, and even though he had to come in and out at least a dozen times while resolving the issue, he too removed his shoes.

And when it came to making a necessary hole in the inside wall to access the pipes that needed to be replaced, Dave was creative enough to make that hole behind my dishwasher. Thus, one less repair I had to make after he was done! The holes made on the outside were kept as small as possible.

For what had to be done, I believe the pricing was quite fair. It might be great, I really don't know to be honest. I didn't have time to shop around. Either way, I'm satisfied with what I paid and the work that was done, so that's all that matters.

Note: Coastline accepts AMEX, but with an additional fee. You're better off just paying by check. Also, you might get a little bit of a break on the final pricing if you mention that you found them on Yelp!

Our 16 year old water heater sprung a leak on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Called a few places. One local plumber came by on a no-charge examination but wanted $2300. I called Coastline who gave me a quote over the phone for $1250 (final, all-inclusive). Other Yelp plumbers had a similar base fee but then tacked on additional ""urgent,"" ""weekend,"" or ""holiday"" fees which in some cases was an extra $300.

Todd came out first thing on Friday morning and had the new water heater installed in an hour. Took the old one away.

Very professional. No attempt to upsell or add any charges.

I called this place yesterday because I had a bad leak underneath my faucet. I chose Coastline due to all the positive reviews that are posted. It's been over 24 hours since I've called and i have yet to have a return call from anybody from this company.. Just a tip Coastline usually when you get a call from a customer nine times out of ten it's because the customer needs something fixed pretty quickly. Even if you didn't have any available appointments a returned call would've been appreciated. Super disappointed.

Very disappointed in Coastline. Called yesterday to set up an appointment with the dispatcher. Explained that I had a broken sprinkler main, and he made an appointment for the next day. That was the good part and plumber Dave Ramos showed up on time. Now the bad part, Dave said I need to call a landscaper, and not a plumber, and charged me a $45 service charge. Shame on Coastline!
