James is rude, condescending and threatening. I was very sternly advised by James today that they could not service my house due to previous interaction. Here is the back history:
When Coast repaired my water heater several months ago, with parts I supplied, I asked for a quote on installing a water pressure regulator. I have a home warranty company that I hoped would reimburse me for the repair of water heater and I needed a clean invoice for the work they performed. Instead, the service guy (nice guy) wrote the quote for water pressure regulator ($1200.00) on the invoice. I asked that the pressure regulator quote not be written on the invoice because, if you use a home warranty company you will know that, they will look for any reason to deny a claim. After some back and forth, and the Coast service guy explaining that the law required writing suggested additional repairs on the invoice, I relinquished the challenge. I did end up paying a different company only $400 for the water pressure regulator. Today with drain issue, Lucy was happy to schedule a service call. 10 minutes later Lucy advised that my account was flagged, ""do not service"". I accepted her explanation but did let her know that I was going to write a Yelp review. Later James called and very rudely told me that he viewed my previous request for a clean invoice as an attempt on my part to defraud the warranty company and pretty much threatened that if I wrote this review he would retaliate and make the accusation known. It must make him feel powerful to threaten little old Ladies.

Had a water leak from under Air Conditioner unit. Was thinking maybe a slab leak but it was the AC condenser line clogged. Big time relief when Mike K. Explained what was going on. Mike was very respectful and easily explained what I should do in the future to make sure it doesn't happen again. I would 100% recommend Coast Plumbing, they are knowledgeable and professional.

When I called to have a solution for my water not working from my sink, Jerry was sent the very next day to inspect. He was so professional and gave me all sorts of options that was most cost effective AND took time to thoroughly explain pros and cons to all options. When I ordered all the parts and materials and Jerry came back to install both hot water dispensers and tank, he was organized, made sure the area was clean and the installation looked beautiful. He explained again thoroughly how the systems worked and what to expect and made sure he spent time ensuring that all my questions were answered. Thank you Jerry for providing the best customer service!

MIKE! You are a LIFESAVER! He was so understanding that I tried to DIY our sink for our business, but we desperately needed help with the plumbing part on this busy Saturday. There are so many plumbers to choose from but Coast is my #1. No job too small or too big. We had a leaky faucet in the shower that I thought would be a quick replacement but it wasn't. The sweet young man took it on & showed me each stage of the repair. This wasn't the 1st time I have used Coast & it won't be the last. You really do need someone you can trust to come into your home & do good repairs.

We had a water heater late in the day that caused a minor flood in our garage. A call was made to Coast Plumbing to see what they could do. To our good fortune, Michael (plumber) was dispatched to our house and helped us evaluate the issue and remove a majority of the water. Michael returned early the next day and removed the leaking water heater and replace it with a new one. He did quality work and we were happy with the results. We have used Coast Plumbing in the past and would highly recommend them.
