My elderly mother accidentally flushed underwear down our toilet. The very next day, as anticipated, we needed a plumber.

Positives about Classic Plumbing: (1) Quick quote response, (2) Communicated a clear hierarchy of rates as good as other plumbers, (3) They came quickly, and (4) When unexpected things happened, we worked it out.

With no problems until the underwear flush, I was expecting to pay $90 if they could clear it, $125 to pull the toilet if the underwear was stuck inside of it, and $150 for a mid-priced handicapped toilet, $365 total.

After pushing the superiority of their toilet product ($120 higher, $485 total), I relented; however, the base of this ""superior"" toilet was so narrow that the bathroom's floor tiles would not be covered. I was asked if I had a rug to conceal the mess, which is an unacceptable easiest-for-the-plumber suggestion. When they saw how unhappy I was, they were willing to go to Home Depot, but I found some matching spare floor tiles in my garage.

Next, they recommended a $365 repair under the toilet, not related to the flushed underwear, which I declined since (1) Everything had worked fine until the flushed underwear, and since (2) The rug suggestion had affected my confidence and trust in them. This would have brought the total to $850.

The job did end on a positive note. There were still flushing problems after the superior toilet was installed. Did that mean the underwear got past the removed toilet (therefore, did it need to be removed)? Without additional charge, they snaked everything from the roof until everything worked fine.

I have no idea what to say at this point. I called them back to install the drain, about a year later. I sent a text message and received no response. I called a few days later and again received no response. I then emailed, and you guessed it, no response! I looked up the website and called the office number still with no response.

I guess I am in need of finding a new plumber again?

I was in need of a drain cleaned in my 1955 house. I called the big named people but they couldn't service it today. I called a couple of other people and then thought about looking on yelp. A team of young men, Max and Cody came out quickly and soon had things working great. They were very professional and nice to deal with. Great Job.

These guys were great. Fixed a leaky pipe under house and a clogged shower. Took time to explain everything and problem solve some other plumbing issues in our 1940's home. Punctual and professional. Would highly recommend. A+

Wow all I have to say is Casey and his a guys are AMAZING!!! We had a kitchen sink that was slowly draining and when the plumbers came they cleared the drain and told us there was a broken/cracked pipe. But we decided to wait. A handful of clogs and calling the plumber to clear it came and went, so we decide that we needed to let them jack hammer and fix our pipe! Wow! Our pipe under our Dining room was so rotted and beyond gross and stunk. The classic plumbing guys came on time like always. Fixed it. Cleaned up and we are happy to have a repaired pipe! Bottom line DON'T use DRAINO! CALL CLASSIC PLUMBING! Thank you, thank you!!!

Great plumbers, treat you as family. Charges are usually lower(substantially)then most other quotes received. Will keep using them as needed.

I recently had a water heater issue. I reached out to classic plumbing and Casey gave us the right information. A few days later he sent out his plumbers and installed a 40 gallon water heater. The beauty of all this was a simple fact that now we have hot water and my laundry is nice and clean. His guys were very polite and courteous.

Can't thank them enough. I mean we weren't able to use our washer, toilets or sinks. Pretty much all water used throughout the house would drain into one of our bathtubs. It was not a pretty sight or smell. Thankfully they were able to fix the issue quickly and at a reasonable price. Considering we have never had to call a plumber before I feel they were reasonably priced compared to others. More they gave us a handy tip on certain products to avoid to keep our lines from clogging (flushable wipes).

These guys have come out for various plumbing issues over the past few years I've rented a house in Lake Forest. They are always awesome! Fast, polite, clean, and effective. I thought I had a massive garage water leak and was dreading days of dealing with it. 1 hour after they called me to see if they could come and take a look it was done!
