Very fast service, fair honest price, and professional friendly supervisor and technicians! Would highly recommend!!

Near the end of a long summer, our 27 year old A/C was on its last legs. We called Clark Plumbing and Heating to get a quote on a new unit. They had repaired the old one in June, and we were so impressed with the service provided by Jack, we wanted to give them a shot on a new one.
Jack came to the house and gave us a reasonable price and did not try to ""upsell"" to the most energy efficient, stating it would take many years to get the return on investment in the higher unit price. We agreed to the price and an installation date.
On Sept 26, Jack and his assistant Phil showed up right at the promised time. They disconnected the old system. Then a crane came and removed it from the roof and dropped the new one in place. After a total of about 6 hours (exactly what they estimated), we were up and running. Jack and Phil were very courteous and worked hard.
We strongly recommend Clark for your heating and air conditioning needs.

Recently had a leaking bathtub Grohe faucet. Clark sent out a technician who immediately diagnosed the problem as being a worn-out faucet cartridge. Since the technician did not know what kind of cartridge would be needed without taking the old one out and then searching for one that would fit, I did not know how much it would end up costing me, so I gave him a check for the service call and asked him to do nothing else for the time being. I went to Snyder Diamond in Studio City, and the Parts Manager told me he probably had a cartridge that would fit but would need more information. I went back home and dug through old files and finally found the original documentation on the Grohe faucet (1997). I went back to Snyder Diamond and the Parts Manager verified that he had a part in stock, and I purchased it. Bear in mind that this was taking me the better part of a day to do all this. My daughter (who owns the property) called Clark back, and they sent out another technician the next day at no extra cost to install the part for us.; This was a very wonderful experience for me, and I wrote to Clark to tell them what a great team of employees they have and how much I appreciated all that they did to get the faucet to stop dripping. I am a long-time customer of Clark, and will use them in the future and can recommend them to you as an honest, competent, experienced plumbing company.

My 87 year old mom has a backed up washer and sink. I am put on hold for 5 minutes and then someone picks up who knows nothing about what I told the first person. Should have hung up then. They quote 150 dollars set a time for tomorrow from 10am -12pm. At 11:30 I call because I'm worried. Sure enough the guy will be 30 minutes late. Things go wrong but when they do, the business should call the customer not the other way around. So 12:30 comes and goes at 1:00pm I call up to cancel provide my name they say thanks not even a word to see if they could salvage the call. Now my mom has to go another day because its a weekend and I can get anyone out until Monday.

If I could give this place 0 stars or NEGATIVE I would.
My mother lives at an apartment complex that had a plumbing issue and they used this place - probably the one closer to them, who knows - and these people placed these huge speed bumps on the main road and blocked off the opposite side (to make a left turn). These ""speed bumps"" were placed right out of my tight driveway and the only choice I had was to make a left turn where the bump was. Now, these bumps have these handles about a foot plus high and it dented my car. Onlookers saw this and even told me that there was no way for me to get out. Not only that, these people placed these things and blockades with NO PERMITS FROM THE CITY - meaning they did this ILLEGALLY - and for a reason! They should have moved this further down or away from the drive way! The city of Brentwood had them remove their things eventually.
I called the company and was nice about it all and just asked them to pay for the damage of my car. I understand there are liars in the world and I even offered them to direct me to someone who they would like to inspect my vehicle. I also have a written estimate from Honda. I emailed and called and left messages to no avail.
This company has no professionalism, no customer service, does things illegally, and can't even own up to their own mistakes. I have attached photos of the incident and please tell me if I am wrong or not.

My wife had used this company for years before we met. She never had a complaint. The past few times however hsve been a different story entirely. She still likes this company, I on the other hand don't like them or trust them.
They NEVER show at the allotted time and most of the time never call. The work is slipshod at best. I won't call them for even the simplest of repairs, much less a re-plumbing job.

Definately use these people again!!!!
I am a new home owner and unfortunately had many problems that needed to be taken care of. I called several companies that could not give me an idea of a price over the phone and insisted on coming to my home first. I called Clark and and spoke with Dinet who was very knowledgeable about my plumbing problems. For not being a plumber this girl knew her stuff and was able to give me a really close estimate of what it was going to cost. She also gave me a $20 discount just because I was a new customer. Every little bit helps! The plumber Nick that was here was very nice and was able knock out all the many tasks in a short amount of time and walked me through everything he was doing and he even cleaned everything when he was done!!!! Overall I had great service and would use them again ( only down fall is they give you a 3 HOUR window)

Caveat Emptor! There is more than one Clark Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning. Maybe because the original is so outstanding that, like the original Tommy's Hamburgers, it inspires a whole slew of mediocre imitators.
The original Clark Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning has 5 locations in California and service trucks painted cranberry red.

Pricey! Do some shopping.
Their LA General Mgr.Paul, is very defensive about pricing policy.
He told me their plumbers get $100 an hour. REALLY!

STAY AWAY!!!!
The worst plumbers in history, expensive, rude and thieves!
Short and to the point:
1. They are rip off artists. Two hours to do a simple singe dropping sink faucet.
(they take there time to do the job to suck more money out of you. Stayed just 10
minutes past the second hour to charge you for the full second hour).
2. They installed new fitting without alerting me of what i needed (nor did they
show me the incompatible parts) and how much it would cost.
(BTW it cost me $50.00 for two tiny screws, really now).....
3. They tell you they will ""dump"" your old ""broken"" parts and in the meantime they
recycle the other wise ""good"" parts!
(cleaning and shining the supposed broken parts putting it in his bag as he's
telling you its no good. When i requested to keep my parts he attempted to take
the bag twice to his truck).
4. They are extremely rude and condescending when they speak to you.
(I wanted to check out the workmanship when i was told ""Lady, it's installed
correctly you don't need to check it out..."").
5. I requested to have someone sent to crawl under the house and look at an issue.
They proceeded to send a man that was"" too large"" to fit in the crawl space. I was
charged full price and received no service and when i asked to have another more
suitable gentlemen come to do the job they said they couldn't and if so it would be
yet ""another charge""....
They are truly horrible and awful.........
