Carlos is the best repipe expert I've ever worked with. * The project: Repipe for 12 fixtures in a residential home that had two slab leaks in the last eight years. * The quote process: Carlos showed up on time. The sewer system to my house was backed up and I read good reviews on yelp about Carlos. When he called me he gave me a quote of around $150 to run a snake. He was out here within a couple hours and tried several cleanouts to get to the problem. It turns out we needed a clean out that was bigger and closer to the problem so he could run heavier equipment without damaging our pipes. He gave me a quote for the bigger fix and I told him I would think about it. Because he couldn't fix the problem (because my clean outs were too small) he didn't charge me anything!! He drove about 40 minutes to my house, spent over an hour trying to help and left without payment because the problem wasn't fixed, through no fault of his own. He is also polite and respectful. I ended up putting in a larger clean out and then asked him to return and run his snake. The problem is fixed! I haven't ever had an official plumber but now I do. Thank you Carlos!

Carlos of CJ Plumbing is a knowledgeable and honest plumber. I had a partial line back up and reached out to CJ Plumbing but he was busy on other jobs. We then located a 24 hour plumbing service. They came out on a Saturday morning and states that I do not have a main clean out.

They then ran a camera from the roof access confirming that there is not a main clean out located outside of my house. Next they stated that I have a few issues. My cast iron pipes need to be scaled and picot installed. In addition, they said that another line from the house to the street line needs to be replaced. And I need a main clean out installed outside. All to the tune of $13,000. They also gave a second estimate for everything except the replacement of the line for $3,700. I told them that I will be getting a second opinion.

I immediately called Carlos of CJ plumbing and told him what I was quoted. He said that he will stop by after he completes his last job. Carlos called me later that evening and cleared the back up from a clean out located in a bedroom closet within minutes. He saved me thousands of dollars.

Carlos and team replaced my 32 year old water pressure regulator and shut-off valve. Their work and parts used are all high quality. I have been experiencing random water pulsating and don't know for sure if the water pressure regulator was the issue or not. Carlos explained that it could be air getting into the pipes by toilet shutoff valves not being fully opened, water softner system, or leaking pipe.

Carlos is very responsive with text messages. Although CJ Plumbing's quote was a bit higher this time, I still went with Carlos because he stands behind his work with a 1 year warranty.

First reached out to Carlos for an estimate to repipe my house, which had the original galvanized plumbing from when the house was built.

His bid was much more competitive than a previous quote I had received for the same scope of work, so I decided on moving forward with CJ Plumbing. I even added on the replacement of two shower valves along the way.

As the start date of the project approached, we had a scheduling issue on our end and had to push the start date by a week. Carlos didn't sweat that and we just started the job the following week.

From the outset, Carlos was clear about how the job would unfold: Day 1, prep and vertical pipe runs; Day 2, horizontal runs and changing over to the new piping; Day 3, patchups and final walkthrough. And it happened exactly as he described with no issues.

Carlos and his crew were extremely respectful of the house throughout the job, covering floors with tarps and such. And they always made sure the water was back on at the end of each workday so that my family could shower/use toilets/maintain cleanliness, etc.

While working in the crawl space, Carlos noticed I had severely rotted drain pipes under my kitchen. This was not part of the original estimate, but given how pleased I was with his work on the current job, I felt comfortable hiring him do that job as well.

In all, I was incredibly happy with the quality of all plumbing work, but even more impressed by how easy it was to work with Carlos. He's won my business for any future plumbing needs I might have, and he's certainly earned my recommendation for anyone who needs it.

We called Carlos at 7:30 am and he was able to come to our house that same day to prepare a leak inside our wall. He is professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.
