I highly recommend Carlos based on our first experience with him and reading these reviews. Very responsive, answered my phone call after normal business hours, and promptly came the next day to meet our need for a sewer lateral inspection video. I had a galvanized pipe in the front of my house leaking due to corrosion. I called Carlos who was able to arrive the same day and explain thoroughly what was needed to fix the problem.

The old galvanized water pipes for the washer/dryer, and gas line for the dryer were replaced with copper pipes. He also installed new hot/cold washer shut off valves. He repatched the concrete driveway and hauled away the concrete debris. He completed the task in 1.25 days.

I also had a question about my hot water heater that another plumber installed and Carlos adjusted the temperature setting down to a practical level (so I think it will extend the life of my water heater).

I felt comfortable asking him questions since I know very little about plumbing. He is professional, courteous, and reliable. I highly recommend CJ Plumbing and if I need help again, I know I will not hesitate to call Carlos.

CJ is the man. It's extremely hard to find a reliable and trustworthy person for household jobs nowadays. Either you get ripped off with pricing and treated like you're a novice, or you get screwed over with poor craftsmanship.

CJ is not like that. He is very honest and patient with me. I had a plumbing issue after I tried to DIY-draining my 10-year-old water heater. It was a bad mistake on my end. I got in touch with CJ, and he came over within a few hours and patiently explained my options to me. He was extremely helpful and saved me a lot of money and time!

Carlos is the first tradesman I've ever interacted with who's kind, genuine, and most importantly, doesn't take advantage of customers' stress and situation to upmarket his service or force a sale.

I called him for a backed-up clog for two restrooms that would overflow into the bath which ended up being a main sewer line blockage. Carlos arrived promptly and focused on educating customers on the problem first to allow us to make an informed decision. He never tried to push a sale, but simply laid out all the potential fixes and the costs.

The next day I had a separate plumbing issue (due to a faulty fill valve, not relating to the service Carlos provided) and called Carlos who helped troubleshoot on the phone for 10 minutes! Any other company or servicemen would have pulled the ""I'm not sure, I have to go out and see"" then quoted you a ridiculously expensive price. Instead, he told me it was so simple to replace a fill valve I just needed to buy a replacement from Home Depot and google a YouTube video. I did and fixed it myself!

Normally I'm skeptical when I see companies with perfect reviews, but after working with Carlos I can understand why his customers praise him.

My elderly mother had a very difficult sewage backup at her house and Carlos was able to locate the precise location and cause of the backup. He needed to spent a little more time than usual to solve the problem but did a great job explaining why he was doing what he was doing. In the end the clog was successfully removed and the toilets have never flushed this well in a long time.

Talked with Carlos. Very nice guy! I thought I had an issue with my water heater; Carlos asked some questions, turns out I didn't. He explained everything to me to alleviate the issue on my own. Thank you, Carlos, for solving our sewer drain blockage problem very quickly after you received our cry for help. We had been visited by several authorities each of whom requested notice of the arrival of a plumber and also notice of the completion of the work. All were surprised that the work was completed in the short time it took you to remove three bundles of newly severed tree roots from the drain line and demonstrate the completely normal drain flow. All of this work was accomplished in a moderately heavy continuous rain only because your equipment worked flowlessly as it did.
