Stewart worked very hard to get us the best deal possible. He was able to beat the competition's offer! The installation was done quickly, and the new hvac system works wonderfully!

Called Church Services today (Saturday) when my thermostat stopped working. I was worried my family and I would spend the weekend freezing with no heater but they sent a technician out within a few hours on a Saturday for no upcharge.
The technician, Kevin Bosch, was awesome. Super friendly and professional, he walked me through his diagnosis step-by-step. After the more obvious potential causes didn't pan out (tripped breaker, blown fuses, etc.); Kevin found a blown transformer which he explained is not common on a 2.5 year system. He installed a new transformer in no time and is working with our manufacturer to get the cost covered under warranty. Kevin did a great job. I will be requesting him by name next time I need help with my A/C system.

the time you don't want the furnace to stop working is when it's b*tt a$$ cold...
I was able to set up a checkup for my furnace on the same day I called, which really helped my schedule that day. Virgle came out and was really helpful. I had a clicking noise coming from my furnace and he was able to solve that, checked to make sure my hot surface ignitor (HSI) was still good, made some recommendations regarding my dirty (needs to be replaced) filter, water leakage that comes out from the blower during the summer, sealing air leaks, and suggestions for how to make sure the rest of the house can be covered with the unit I currently have installed and to do a spring tune up in spring. All worth the visit for a check up. Professional service and would call them again.

I needed someone to give me an estimate on fixing the furnace in a house I was under contract to buy. Kevin came out and gave me a good analysis on the whole system and quickly figured out the problem with an estimate to repair. He was very friendly knowledgeable.
I was also having a problem getting the hot water heaters to come on. Ken (plumber) was also able to quickly trouble shoot the system and get it working right away. Another example of the friendly and knowledgeable staff at Church Services.
In addition, they were the only company that was able to get someone (two people) out on short notice. This was very important to me since I was in my option period.
My neighbor recommended them to me after they solved a very difficult problem with broken pipes under their foundation.

I've been using Church Heating and A/C services for several years now with good results. Their technician, Heath G. was the latest to perform the heating check up for winter. Direct, to the point, discussed all options and concerns and related costs. I'm a big fan of the "no BS" approach. Recommended.

I have used Church Services for a year and a half. I find the technicians courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. They arrive on time and give a detailed description of what they inspected. I would recommend this company with the highest regard.

Kevin from Church Services rocks. He is honest and was willing to speak to my father on the phone about what was wrong with my ac. The other time he came out he showed my father what was wrong and they both agreed. Ask for Kevin, especially if you live south.

These people tried to prey on my parents. A price was quoted to install a toilet; 130$. The person showed up and immediately started adding charges, saying the valve would have to be replace, etc., etc. My parents refused and asked what it would be to just install the toilet and he priced that at $269. They told him his services would not be needed. This jerk had the audacity to tell them he would bill them for a trip charge. Good luck with that. Stay away, very far away. These are NOT good nor honest people. Mom had to leave the hospital where Dad is to keep the appointment. Oh, Lowes is coming out to install; $140.

I bought my AC unit from Christian Brothers about 4 years ago. I loved them! They had wonderful customer service and very knowledgeable technicians. They really went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Unfortunately, they are now Church Services and everything has changed for the worst.
Earlier this summer my AC was shutting on and off, which I assumed was due to the unit not draining properly and the float switch engaging to turn off the AC. A technician from Church Services came out the next day and spent a hour and a half "draining" the unit and talking my ear off about his personal life. Two weeks later I noticed a puddle of water by the door that houses my AC unit. Turns out the technician did NOT drain the unit and had also removed part of the float switch, so my AC was leaking all over the floor. They had a different technician come out to my house the following day and he was much more knowledgeable and efficient than the original guy. When he was leaving he mentioned they would contact me again to schedule an appointment to replace the board under the AC unit that had gotten drenched so it wouldn't start to mildew. Nobody ever contacted me so I had to call them again to set up an appointment.
Every time I have had an appointment with Church Services, they give me a 4-5 hour block of time that they will arrive by. The last 3 appointments they have either showed up within the last 15 minutes of that time frame or showed up a hour after it ended. I know this is a fairly common issue with similar companies who make home repairs but it just fuels my fire toward Church. They have incompetent technicians and poor customer service. I would suggest trying your luck with any other company in Austin to try to repair your AC/Heater.

Randy to the rescue! We just moved into a new house and realized that the water heater wasn't working. We called Church Services and Randy was there the next morning. He took out the old one, found a new one and educated me on the benefits of the newer model. He happily answered all of my random water heater questions and showed me how to light it. Awesome! 5 stars for customer service. :)
