We had used Chuck's two years ago for an emergency repair, which they handled perfectly. When it came time to replace the kitchen sink and faucet, we asked for Chuck's to provide a quote. They were a little more expensive (less than $50) than another plumber, and just slightly less expensive than a third. I didn't hesitate to give Chuck's my business again, since Bobby was genuinely concerned about keeping me as a loyal customer. Bobby was able to come out the next day, and provided excellent quality plumbing service, as well as great customer service. He complimented us on our sink and faucet choice, was meticulously clean and neat, insisted that he double-check all of his work, and clearly explained a couple of options for the install (no extra charge, regardless of which option we decided). I teach customer service professionally, and from the initial call to the quote, install and follow-up communication, Bobby and the people at Chuck's exceeded all of my high expectations. Chuck's Plumbing was the preferred installer recommended by the manufacturer of a device I purchased, which is the only reason I allowed them to work on my plumbing instead of my preferred plumber, figuring they would provide expert installation and service given the high price point they were charging for their service. The only positive thing I have to say is that the install was performed in a timely manner. Looking at the install, it seemed excessive pipe dope was used, however not being an expert myself I didn't complain figuring the work was done and the chemical taste to the water went away after a couple weeks. Unfortunately, a few months later, one of the fittings they used cracked resulting in a significant leak. Since the device was on my water main I needed emergency service since the leak required water to the entire house to be turned off. Timely repair was especially critical since I had 30+ guests scheduled to be at the house the next day for a party. When I called, I advised of this and was told that some point between 8-11 AM the next day was the best they could do, as they do not provide any type of emergency response service. I inquired if they could at least make sure that I was the first appointment of the day promptly at 8AM and was advised they could not do that and it may be as late as 11:00, which I advised was not acceptable. I was told they weren't going to go out of their way to repair a leak, at which point I reiterated it was a substantial failure necessitating water to the entire home to be shut off and advised that if that's the best they could do they should go ahead and get me on the schedule and that I would call back if I was able to get someone else to come out sooner. I called back a few minutes later after securing another plumber and inquired where I should send the bill since they were unable to provide timely service to repair their defective work, at which point I received a profanity laced tirade advising me of what a horrible person I was, was told never to contact them again, and was hung up on. The plumber performing the repair advised that it appeared the stress crack in the plastic was due to Chuck's Plumbing over tightening the connection, resulting in eventual failure. After their substandard work resulting in the only substantial water leak I have experienced to date, I would strongly caution others to avoid them in favor of a more trustworthy company that will treat you right.

We called Chuck's to have an outside faucet replaced and one of our toilets needed new parts - the next day the plumber showed up on time and ready to go. Bobby was polite and professional ( we hit it off immediately ) and quickly sized up the work. He took the time to explain what was involved to complete the work, as well as offered a few tips to keep things optimized and running smooth. Bobby went above and beyond - he was efficient and did a great job top to bottom. We are pleased with the work and will only use Bobby from now on for any plumbing maintenance moving forward. I recommend Chucks plumbing - thanks Bobby.

First off, Chuck's Plumbing has been top notch from the first time my wife called till the moment Mike, our servicing plumber, left our house. They were first class. Very courteous, punctual with a competitive price and outstanding work. Our house and plumbing are from 1963 and our main shutoff valve to the house was leaking, not up to modern code and desperately needed replacing. We also had issues with our kitchen sink drains and shutoff valves which had been """"fixed"""" by the previous owner. The shutoff valves didn't """"shutoff"""" and the left sink tub wouldn't drain if the right sink tub was filled with water. Mike came in confident he could fix both issues. He gave me his plan of attack and shot me a fair quote so I signed off and he got to work immediately. The exterior plumbing was done in high quality copper with heavy duty shutoff valves and up to modern code with a pressure bleed valve. It's a work of art! He followed that up by making quick work of our kitchen sink issues. He completely replaced both the hot and cold shutoff valves with high quality valves and completely replaced the under sink drain plumbing. Both sinks now drain properly and the work was outstanding! We had some other areas which we know we want worked on so after he finished up with the items we agreed, he shot me a quote for the remaining work. I will definitely be scheduling this work with Chuck's Plumbing and specifically Mike. I really enjoyed his awesome personality and confident, no BS attitude. If you are in the Tampa Bay area, you can't go wrong calling Chuck's for your plumbing needs.

True to his word the on call plumber called and showed up shortly after. Great experience for an unexpected expense.

Just got a new Samsung dryer with the steam feature.The delivery guys could'nt remove the water hose from my washer to tie it into the dryer via a splitter,so after a quick web search I called Chucks due to their decent reviews. I called around 9 AM or so,and Chris arrived around 10:30ish,which is the time I was initially told to expect him.He called me ahead of time to let me know he was on his way.He could'nt remove the hose either,so he had to cut off the old spigot and weld a new one on.Sounds time consuming but he was done with that part of the job in around 10 minutes!The next part of the job included hooking up the water hose to the dryer. In doing so he had to remove the hot water hose to the washer and discovered calcium had built up to the point that it was virtually clogged.No wonder the water was not getting very hot while washing! He cleaned out the receptacle where the hose connected to the washer,replaced the old hot water hose with a nice new stainless one,and tested it.Hot water immediately came out.He then connected the water to the dryer,tested it and once again success. Chris also helped by positioning the washer and dryer back in place,which took a bit of patience as the dryer vent hose was not cooperating. I would describe Chris's demeanor as friendly,calm and methodical.He worked quickly but accurately,and did'nt leave a mess for me to clean up. Chucks is'nt the cheapest plumber,but if you want a job done quickly and correctly,it's worth paying a bit more;to me anyway. Since the tasks I requested were accomplished very nicely,and the unforeseen problems (clogged hose and receptacle)were caught and fixed as well,I'm giving Chucks five stars. This is the first time I've used them but will not be the last.Thanks Chris!

A-OK Company. We had a leak (actually a lake) starting in our front yard due to a clogged overflow drain pipe. I started at the beginning of the plumber names and went down. Chuck's was the first one with a great phone operator, she was SO nice and helpful. Then within 1.5 hours Dennis was at our house ready to snake the drain. After 45 minutes of trying he had to call in his supervisor. Supervisor came out they team worked the problem and we had our front yard back. Total cost $99. Yes, I would call this company again.

Called Chucks after another company had messed up our booking. They sent Cleveland over to install a 40 gallon electric water heater. He did great work and had an awesome attitude . Will be calling and requesting Cleveland for any of my future plumbing needs.

This was a """"shot in the dark"""" call of desperation after two other plumbing companies did not return my calls. The plumber, Vinnie, arrived on time, explained everything that needed to be done and gave me an estimate that was reasonable. He completed the work to my satisfaction (including two other leaks that were not the reason for the original call). He completely cleaned up the work area before he left. I could not have been more pleased with the work. I would definitely recommend them and plan to use them for future plumbing issues.
