I called Choice Plumbing today inquiring about a entire repipe as I have polybutylene pipes. After asking enough questions... it was revealed (not disclosed) that they charge a $40 fee to give an estimate! This has been the only company that I've called that does not offer free estimates. Beware of having them come to your home before knowing if you will be charged this fee!

Their prices are extremely high. Plain and simple. It was $265 to replace a kitchen faucet that had all of its parts. The worst part though was that they were not transparent at all, with unclear, verbal descriptions of the work and costs and rushed me to sign an iPad with no details for what was happening. We needed a faucet replaced in our kitchen. When I called, they couldn't tell me what this would cost (even ballpark). So they came out and told me there were rusty pipes we needed to change, and the total cost would be $295, this after he and the other team member with him had to go to their truck to provide a quote. I have had many quotes for things around the house like this and have never had someone have to step away to figure out the pricing, so that should have been my first clue. The price seemed high, but it included pipe replacement so we decided to just move forward. After accepting, he then said we had one of the parts already since it came with the faucet (you'd think he would have checked for that before providing a quote), so he'd discount our total quote by $30 since we had that. But I still thought based on what he said that he was replacing more than just a faucet which we provided. He did not. He was here for maybe 20-30 min max and charged that much. He didn't even test the faucet -- I had to. And he didn't walk me through what he did, which is common when someone works on your house, car, etc. Just explain what you did before I pay, and without me asking. This company and its workers should be more transparent by providing an itemized list of work + costs. It was verbal, confusing and deceiving. When I called back to complain, they said the normal install price was in the $300s, so we technically got a discount already (it's funny they had the pricing when I called back to complain but not when I was looking for quotes). They offered to send us $30 reimbursement and a coupon for future services. While an offer, we will never use them again and I could not recommend them less based on this experience.

Do not call thiis company! They were sent to my home by my warranty company to fix a leaking tub faucet. Because the part was under warranty, I had to get the part but then they wold return to install it. I called this morning to schedule an appointment. Jill asked if tomorrow afternoon was available and I said no only early afternoon. Then she suggested today. I was surprised that I could be seen so quickly but happy nonetheless. She quoted me 1:00-3:00 and that the technician would call when on his way. At 2:55 I had not received a call or arrival so I called them. I got Jill again. She said she was the one that would've called me but didn't. I didn't get an apology or any sense of regret whatsoeer. She said he was running behind and he would get there when he could. Would not give me any type of estimate but kept asking if I wanted to reschedule which I declined. We agreed that the technician would call me and that either I or my daughter would be here. She asked if he should call my daughter and I said no - call me and we confirmed the number. To my surprise, he called my daughter and cancelled the appt. I called back within 10 minutes and spoke to both Jill and the owner who told me no other appointments were available. Seriously? They screwed up at lease times, but they won't try to make it right. THe owner then starts yelling at me and refusing to come to my home. I called my warrantty company who inturn, called Choice Plumbing. They told my warranty company that I called insisting on being seen today and they were trying to fit me in. That I cussed them out and said terrible things and that's why they refused to do busines with me. Funny that when they did non-warranty work for me just 2 weeks ago, everything went fine. I even got a quote for a $3000 job for additional plumbing work. After today, they have lost any future business with me and I am glad I found out what an unprofessional and and underhanded company they really are.

I called my home warranty company, American Home Shield, about a leaking garbage disposal. Usually it takes at least 2 days to hear back from whichever vendor they send my work order to, but this time American Home Shield sent my work order to Choice Plumbing. I was pleasantly surprised when a scheduler from Choice Plumbing called me less than 1 hour after I submitted an online warranty service request to American Home Shield. Choice had service appointments available the very next day. I only had a slow leak in my garbage disposal, so it wasn't an emergency requiring same day service. The Choice Plumber arrived right on time in the very early party of my 2 hour service call time window. He was very courteous and efficient. He immediately inspected the problem and determined that I needed a new disposal as my old one had water damage due to the leak that caused the internal electrical components to be water damaged. He immediately called it in to his service department who very quickly got authorization from American Home Shield to replace my disposal. Within 45 minutes of arriving the Choice plumber had identified to the probkem, got authorization from my warranty company, and replaced my disposal with a brand new one. The plumber was also very tidy, cleaned up after himself, and took care not to damage my wood floors in my kitchen. The last time that I had a plumber from another company (NOT CHOICE PLUMBING) out to my house to install a new dishwasher, he made a mess, didn't clean it up entirely, and he scratched and dinged my new wood floors in my kitchen. The Choice Plumber DID NOT have any of the issues. I would definitely highly recommend Choice Plumbing due to their fast, efficient, high quality service. I can't speak to their prices because my only complaint experience with Choice Plumbing was covered by my home warranty thru American Home Shield.

The day before Thanksgiving one of my toilets overflowed. I was at my wits end. Lots of cooking to do and out of town company was slowly arriving. I called Choice Plumbing and spoke to a very nice lady who assured me all would be ok. Approx. one hr later I received a call from Alex who was on his way to help me. By the time he arrived so had my company. Alex was courteous and considerate of the situation as well as my cranky dad who tried to help him fix this toilet. Alex corrected the problem. This company is completely incompetent; the only reason I ended up with them is through a home warranty company. They have been working on fixing my leaky faucet for four going on five months. They have no showed, showed up with the wrong parts, and been completely unprofessional. They even assured me the last guy had been fired. How unprofessional is that? If you have a choice steer clear of this company. I have no idea how they're still in business.

Showed up same day on a home warranty claim. Chis was on time, polite, and very helpful explaining what he was doing and why. Installed a new garbage disposal, tested it to our satisfaction and let the work area spotless.
