I called Charlie's Sewer & Drain to clear out a storm drain that was blocked by roots. Luis came out and gave me several options, patiently reviewing the possible pros and cons of each. No upselling or pushing toward the more expensive options. I went with a hydrojet. Luis was quick, efficient, professional, and beyond pleasant to work with - willing to walk me through the entire process as they did the work. They cleared out the roots and double checked the surrounding drains to assure I'd have clear running water throughout. And unlike many vendors that leave me to do a clean up after they're gone, I think Luis left my backyard cleaner than it was before he got there. All around great service!

We recently used Charlie's Sewer & Drain to help us with what turned out to be a significant problem with our old cast iron pipes. We could not be more pleased with the attention and service they gave us. Our main contact Daniel was there for us from beginning to end over several weeks, with great communication and follow through. The owners, Charlie and Lulu, even stopped by to see how things were going. Very highly recommended!! I can see why they get all the great reviews.

Would highly recommend for any plumbing needs, very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Did a big reroute job for kitchen and laundry running new drain line outside away from old corroded cast iron drain pipe in slab adding a main line clean out in the process. Crew did a great job and worked overtime to finish everything in a couple days (some contractors said it could take weeks). Company is honest and priced fairly. Don't think twice about hiring them.

We knew buying our house we'd some day have to replace our sewer pipes and with a recent back up in our sink we decided to get quotes from various vendors. Luis came out and was so thorough, he showed me every little thing that was wrong with the pipes and he did something all the other plumbers hadn't done before and open the clean out by our sink and cleaned it out to show me where the real problem was. Luis and his guys Elio and Jose came out Tuesday and in one day replaced the sewer pipes under the house. They kept me informed along the way and went out of their way to help my with a few other problems inside our bathrooms. Couldn't recommend them more! I felt for the first time someone came in with an honest agenda to help us. Both myself and my husband are big fans! Haha

So far, so great! A new bathroom drained by a sump pump was backing up. I called Charlie's, and here is what went well:

Communication: Via text and phone, I was always informed and updated regarding schedule, arrival, progress, and charges. Once the guys arrived, they explained everything in a detailed and complete manner, investigated the root cause, and explained the fix (and costs) clearly.

Timeliness: The guys showed up when promised and were exceptionally professional.

Initiative: When it was discovered the pump previously installed (not by them) was defective, I went to go look for receipts and warranty info. The guys took it upon themselves to call the manufacturer with the serial number and confirm the pump was under warranty and would be replaced free of charge. This saved me $1,000!

As the new pump is not available today, they will have to come back and finish the job...but as I said, so far, so great!

What a great experience! I got a couple of estimates and Charlie's repair was MUCH cheaper than the other estimate I was quoted. Luis, the technician was super helpful, informative, and all around great. Highly recommend!

First of all, these folks are SUPER NICE! 5 STARS FOR NICENESS!
And they came very quickly when I called on a Saturday! This review is based on an estimate only. I choose a different plumber to do the work at my house. I have lived in my home for over 35 years.....In all the years of toilets being clogged, I have never been told I needed a new exterior clean out.

Luis was great at explaining everything - EMPHASIZING (MANY times) how the company does not remove toilets so as not to damage a floor and how the large, heavy rooter machine is on wheels and when in the house would rock and damage the floor. He continued in this vein saying on two previous occasions, a different technician had broken tile when removing a toilet and Charlie had to replace the tile. He also told me the machine would splash all the clogged toilet water all over the walls of the bathroom. He informed me that I needed a permanent Clean Out installed in the crawl space under my bathroom. Unfortunately, his $1200 quote came in high for me. I did appreciated he tried to work within my budget so he chopped $150 off. I still couldn't afford it so I told him I was going to call other companies. He went out to his truck and returned 5 minutes later saying for $575 he WOULD take off the toilet (?????) but would not guarantee it would fix the problem. It all did not feel right after he spent so much time telling me I had beautiful floors, the company doesn't remove toilets and then was suddenly willing to do so. The price and method of repair all changed only after I said I would like to get another bid on the job.

Fix It Quick Plumbers arrived less than an hour later. Gave me a very decent price to unclog my toilet and drains and removed the toilet to rooter out the clog. No mess. No damaged floors and and my hunch that a new clean out might be unnecessary was proved correct.

Highly recommend Charlie's sewer & Drain Rooter. Responds back to messages in a timely manner. They were also able to come over within 10hours of making the call to them. Office staff was very professional and respectful as well as the technician that came out to check our kitchen sink. Technician was thorough and clear to let us know what the problem was and fixed the problem right away. We will definitely use them again if needed and definitely recommend them to others.
