December 24, 2018 family coming over on Christmas day, Drainage pipes under the kitchen sink fell apart. Called Hall Plumbing and the most wonderful plumber in the world came to my house and fixed it. Mr Hall thank you so much for doing an excellent job. He is a great conversationist I learned a lot, very trustworthy, friendly, and knows his stuff. You cannot go wrong with this plumber. You wil be the first person I call for installing my dishwasher. YOU ARE THE BEST !!!!! Have a Merry Christmas !!!!

This guy is the best! Everything you could hope for in a plumber. Our water line broke and water was coming into our basement! He came out right away and evaluated the situation and gave a bid to replace the water line. He couldn't do it that day so I called around for other prices and to see if it could be done sooner. Even though there were a couple of places that could do it a day sooner, I decided to wait because Charlie gave me the most information, he was very helpful and responsive and he was the cheapest. Sometimes the cheapest option isn't the best but in this case it WAS! He is very experienced and knowledgeable. He got the job done fast for the best price. He put everything back together nicely. He couldn't do the drywall repairs that needed to be done but he recommended someone who was also was very fast and did it for a great price. Fast forward 2 months -- there is a small amount of water in the basement again. Charlie comes out within two hours and evaluates the situation. He is able to determine that the water is coming in through a window well. He gives lots of information on fixing it and also advises me on problems I am having with my sewer drain. Charlie is very trustworthy, friendly and he knows his stuff. Call him, you won't be sorry!

Charlie and his son came to my home yesterday and did a great job fixing my tub faucet and the shower - and did not overcharge me!!! I had another plumber come to my home on Monday and they quoted me a starting price of $1000. They found that the cartridge behind the tub faucet was plugged and was not screwed in tight enough. The other plumber had told me they were going to have to cut thru the laminate (old house) and there would be a hole. Hall Plumbing is now my go-to guy for all my plumbing issues. And Charlie is great to talk to we are both from the east coast so we had an immediate connection!!!

Charlie made an effort to schedule us nearly immediately, was quick and clean.

We needed Charlie and his assistant Jacob out to help us install a new kitchen faucet, plus under counter plumbing for an instant hot water spigot, and ice maker water.

He was in our home the day after our call and even earlier than we had expected.

He and Charlie spent 2 hours on the removal of the old and installation of the new. They did a great job and even cleaned everything up!

We did pay full shop rate, which I assume in the city is $200 per hour plus parts. While no bargain the work was perfect.

I would call him again anytime.

Excellent work at a reasonable price! And fun people to boot. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Charlie and his son were a pleasure to work with. They were communicative, prompt, and efficient. They installed a utility sink in my garage where there was none before and really went above and beyond... They came back twice after the job was technically finished. Once to place a tracer wire on the drain line (as per the inspector's request), and again because I messed up the grade when I dug back down to place an electrical line alongside. No extra charge for either! I'll definitely be calling them for any future plumbing needs.

Charlie and his son are amazing. They did what two other plumber told me couldn't be done, and they did it for WAY cheaper then the other guy's quoted me (with the possibility that it might not even work). About $1000 less. Call these guy's. They're plumbing wizards, and they're a super sweet father son duo. Go team family!

Put me down as not a fan. We had an appointment to meet at 11 a.m. this morning at the house I'm moving into. It was a firm appointment and it took some effort on my part to get there on time. He didn't show up. It's 11:45 now. I just called him. He answered his phone. He said he had been on another job that had taken him longer than expected and was on his way. I told him to forget it. He had not had the courtesy or foresight even to call and tell me he was running (very) late.

I've found my plumber. Charlie is quick, efficient and knows exactly what he's doing. We had been living with a couple of non-working faucets for years, and when we could finally get the work done Charlie came out the day after my first call to him, diagnosed the problems within a minute, set an appointment for the following day, and was gone. Next day he came back with a new faucet and installed it (plus a new drain) in about an hour and a half. Fixed the other problem and was gone. Very professional, quick and trustworthy.

This was another do-it-yourself project that wasn't! I spent hours trying to replace a faucet, with very little clearance. I called Charlie and he and Jake were here when they said...a HALF HOUR - because they had a little room in their day. They went to town on it and were very personable, professional, and efficient. I won't hesitate to use/recommend them again.

I live in SE portland and needed a moen water cartridge replaced. I had already purchased the new cartridge and the adapter removal tool. My do it yourself project turned into a no-can-do project. I couldn't remove the old cartridge. I left a message on Charlie's phone and he got back to me in 15"". Given he was the 2nd guy I tried, I was surprised he could come right over on this Tuesday afternoon as the other company was 2 weeks out. Charlie and his son jake came right over and pulled out that stubbborn cartridge and reassembled the valve. Voila! Took about 15"" (helped I had already disassembled) and cost $100. But I didn't have to wait two weeks. :)
