Started with receptionist I appreciate who were very prompt and continue followed up with needs of units that will fit to my space for over 2 month with her contacts.
Appointment day of installation,
They were on time from Baltimore to Falls Church Virginia. I had heating pump/Compressor Replaced by this company on May 22, 2024, it was hotest day of the month.
Technicians name Ashton and Nick worked real hard to replace my very old HVAC unit in my condo. They faced some challenges to removing old units, Imstalled a new unit in very small limited space in my closet. They answers to all my questions and never complained about work they performed. And patiently and thoroughly finished their job! I am very pleased and grateful to their hard work and they definitely deserve FIVE star or more! I would highly recommend this company and disregard all the previous bad reviews you see. Thank you guys!

My experience with this company has been horrible. I bought a new condo last August and in March of 2024 I thought I was having an issue with my hot water not getting hot in the proper time. I was asked if I wanted the plumber to come out and since the building is not even one year old, assumed that it was part of the warranty. He came out, turned on the hot water in the primary bath, started his timer on his phone and waited; did the same thing on the second bathroom sink. After about 6 minutes, said they were working within the allotted/normal time. I thought that was it and then got a bill for $190. No one ever told me that there would be any kind of statement or I wouldn't have had them here. I could have just as easily set my timer and timed how long it took to get hot. Then when I called to complain that it was supposed to be under warranty (they service 2 brand new buildings here), they said that if there was something wrong, it would fall under the warranty, but if nothing was wrong, I get charged. What kind of logic is that? No one at any time had ever said anything about there being a charge or not being covered by the warranty. I find this extremely unethical and wonder how many people have had the same experience - being charged $190 for 5 minutes, receiving a bill and no one responding to my complaints. I'll bring it up to the Board of Directors to see how widespread this is; to charge someone if nothing is found wrong and not to let anyone know that you will be charged. I would never recommend them.

Disgusting, horrible and unreliable people. Donot reach out to them if you have a problem because the problem will become bigger. They are not trustworthy people, they will tell u less price or even the service is free but will send you bills.

Irresponsible employee who never revert to your calls and keep telling u they will get back and never does. All they want is mar money.

Charles A Klein installed all the HVAC when our house was built in 2010 so we just kept them on for our 6-month services. Over time we found that despite everything ""working fine"" our services resulted in more and more necessary repairs. Including the replacement of a 7 year old heat pump, replacing a compressor in another outside unit and so on.

The last straw was about a month ago when they came out for our fall service. Before the service everything was working fine. However, before the serviceman left he came up and informed us that the blower motor died on one of our heating units (we have 3 zones). The offered a replacement motor at $1200 with a $300 charge to install. I finally thought enough was enough and reached out to a family friend in the HVAC business. Before even coming to the house he noticed that Klein had a 25% markup on the part which he said was very high. However, the realizations after he came out and inspected the unit were the most shocking. The system that was working fine prior to the service, required a new blower motor, control board, wiring harness AND thermostat. Our friend indicated that the components must have been shorted out presumably during the fall service and while not necessarily intentional were the result of incompetence.

If we allowed Klein to rectify the situation (which they caused through their incompetence) it would have probably cost us several thousand dollars just for the parts alone without even considering the several visits before it would have been completed.

I would give zero stars if it was an option; they were that bad. Multiple phone calls, with messages, went unreturned when we tried scheduling an initial appointment, but since they serviced our HVAC last summer, I kept trying. on 6/11, I was able to schedule an appointment for 6/16, but they couldn't give me any window of time. The technician came on 6/16, diagnosed that we needed a new blower motor, quoted us a price, and said it'd get ordered. On 6/18 they called back and asked if they should order the part and quoted us a different price. Fine. Finally got it installed on 6/23 and within an hour after the tech left, I knew it still wasn't working right, but no way in heck was I going to try and reach them for another week to have someone come out sometime in July. Called a new company who came out same day (6/24), diagnosed, and fixed it.

After waiting for over a month for a plumber to come to my house to verify if my water utility pipe was leaking, I had to another another 10 days to even get a quote that didn't even real numbers. They only provided a standard rate fee an hour. Why take 10 days? Who knows! I didn't mention anything about the required permit with public works. It mentions a warranty for a gas pipe, even though we are only working with water here. T that the price is valid for 30 days because of the steel market condition (the water line is copper) not impressed.. By the way, the plumber himself was great, I hope I only had to deal with him, but the company is not a good match.

Horrible company to work with!! There was a conflict with a charge and I called them and they said they would get back to me and they never did! I called multiple times and they just kept sending bills without ever replying to me about my complaint! We will never use them again and if you're smart you won't either!

I see my system has your name on it you came to my home a few years ago and installed my system. Thank you very much,. it functioned up until a few weeks ago. now I have no air condition. I attempted to put off the main power and back on I placed the switch from on to off and back on again it did not work.the system continues to blow out hot hair in a very hot day.
please help me if you can.
Thank you very much for installing it in the past. it worked great. now its time to either repair it or fix what is not working in it to make the fan outside not turn to produce any air conditioning.

Sincerely yours.

The Best of the Best! We needed a new A/C System. The one we had turned out to be Garbage. Charles Klein put in a new Trane A/C System. Its the Best A/C we ever had. They were polite, Professional; they did it in one day. They even replaced the copper line from the A/C unit to the inside system, which had problems anyway. They replaced it with 7/8"" new copper, which is at least twice the diameter, then we had before. It works like a charm. We have no complaints, whatsoever! Thank you Guys!

We have a custom home and Charles Klein did all of the HVAC work. recently we had no heat on a cold day (10/2018) and we called Klein. The tech came to the home, noted there was a bird in an intake that had blocked the unit, causing the fail safe to shut it down. During the process of the repair, he cracked a part on the unit (which we witnessed). He noted that he did damage the part, he would tell his boss, and they would repair it. He put it back together and told us the furnace would work but might leak water onto the floor. If it did, we were to call him. The next day there was water leaking, and the unit had to be turned off. We called first thing in the morning to ask the tech to come back. He did, and said that a new part was needed, but we should 'be prepared' to be charged for the part. We were not called about the part until the end of the day - it was now Friday, and they could not order it until Monday. We then spoke to the manager, who said that the furnace had overheated because the bird was obstructing and had caused that furnace part to become brittle, so it was not their fault that the part had broken. We witnessed the tech being very tough on the part and breaking it.

Once we reluctantly agreed to pay for the part (it was a cold week and we needed heat), we had to call multiple times to get the part ordered and subsequently come and install it. So once the tech broke our unit, it took more than a week to have it working again.

They did not feel they were liable for the damage they caused. The part was $600 to repair. They took over a week to restore heat to our home. Again, the tech CLEARLY STATED that he cracked the part. Wow. Never again.
