We called Chabert Plumbing on a Saturday morning to fix our garbage disposal which had clogged and backed up into the dishwasher. They picked up the phone right away, made it to our home when they said they would (as soon as they finished the job they were working on) and fixed our problem for a reasonable cost.

Yelp is a help once again.

I'm home from vacation for less than 12 hours when my garbage disposal dislodges itself from its flanges and crashes under the sink with an alarming THUD. That thing is heavy and was a pain in the butt to install; I knew I needed the help of a pro.

So. . . Chabert Plumbing has all these enviable Yelp reviews. I call and leave a message. Paul returns my call promptly and is out at my house two hours later. Problem is fixed in a jiffy and I'm charged a reasonable price for his trouble.

I will definitely be calling these guys again when and if I need to. You'd be a fool not to call them, especially if you have an emergency.

Our gas water heater went out and they responded promptly and worked quickly. Good workmanship and trustworthy. We feel like if we ever had problems Chabert would be there to support their work. Found them on Yelp and would recommend them.

I just wanted to say that these guys are fantastic, fair, quick and honest! they came to my house two hours after I called, diagnosed the problem and fixed it within two hours charging me less than they quoted because it didn't take as long as they expected! When was the last time that happened to anyone!

I needed a plumber to fix a pressure valve on my hot water heater. I fired up Yelp to find someone that could help me as quickly as possible. I found a review for Chabert that said "of all the people I called these were the only plumbers to call me back" and that iced it for me.

I called Chabert, spoke to Paul, and they made an appointment to come out later that afternoon. They fixed my issue in about 15 minutes and the cost was very reasonable.

While they were fixing the hot water heater I asked them to take a look at installing a P-trap in my sink. Paul was very honest and said that he would be willing to do the work for me, but it was so easy to do and I'd just be wasting money. He told me what I needed and what I'd do to put it together. Excellent service!

Anytime I need plumbing services, I'm calling Chabert!

I was having problems with my hot water heater and called several highly rated plumbers in my area based on Yelp reviews. Chabert was the only plumber to call me back.

They arrived promptly and inspected my hot water heater. They gave me the choice of replacing the element or replacing the entire heater. Given the age of the heater, I decided to replace it.

These guys left my house, picked up the parts and arrived at 8:00 am the next morning to replace the heater. They were very pleasant to work with, answered all my questions about tank versus tankless heaters and in the end, left the final decision up to me.

I really appreciated how responsive they were--especially considering that they were on the only company to call me back. Will be using them again in the future.

If anyone notices the date, which will no doubt go down in infamy as the most ridiculous snow day in Austin history, today was a day where everyone flipped out over the snopocalypse of 2011. As luck would have it, it would be the day my pipe froze and burst.

Many offices and all schools were closed. I called Paul in the morning with my problem and he was at my house the same day, in a matter of 10 minutes from the time and called me to say he was on his way. He fixed my pipe problem, insulated the culprit pipe AND even insulated another outdoor spigot without my asking. He explained everything he did and gave me tips to prevent these issues from happening again. He also properly insulated everything so that I shouldn't have these issues again. He was prompt, courteous, and VERY reasonably priced, especially given the circumstances and environmental conditions. The entire job took probably about 30 minutes.

I would recommend anyone use Chabert Plumbing! I am certainly going to use him again, should I have anymore emergencies, and am even going to hire him for my kitchen and bath remodels. Couldn't be more pleased with Paul, his service, and his rates. 5 stars for sure!

These guys were soooo wonderful. My sewer line collapsed at a rental property of mine, which really interrupted my tenants lives, Paul was out there looking at the situation within an hour of my calling in on Monday morning. He gave me a great price, he kept me & my tenants posted on progress, finished the work within 1.5 days because they worked such a long day the first day & were out there early the next day to finish. They put everything back the way it was: 2 fences & a raised garden bed. The whole crew was so nice & friendly. I really appreciated their customer service ethic. I've already told everyone I know to use them.

I just had Chabert Plumbing replace my main sewer line from the house to the street. This involved digging up a lot of yard and cutting across my driveway and replacing it. They did a very good job and I am satisfied with their work and very pleased with their price. I had three plumbing companies bid on the job. Two where large corporate types and Chabert is a small local plumber. The other two bids were very high in comparison to Chabert. I took a chance on the small local guy and I'm glad I did. The crew was professional and did everything they should have as needed. The project took a little longer than originally estimated, but that was mainly due to weather delays. I would definantly recommend Pete Chabert Plumbing and his crew for any of your plumbing needs. Support the local guys! Their work is good and their prices are the best.
