In 1995, I entered the plumbing field as an apprentice in industrial construction.
We worked on waste lines, pipeline lines, drainage, vent lines, disposal lines, and installations including toilets and taps.
I earned enough hours to qualify for my journeyman plumbing test in Austin and successfully completed it.
I pursued my career in modern home plumbing.
I spent 14 years setting up plumbing in tailored homes as a self-employed plumber.
I went back to commercial plumbing and applied for my med gas certification in Austin, allowing me to work on new hospitals, multi-story condos, housing complexes, schools, renovations, and expansions.
As I gained more experience, a friend informed me that the maintenance industry was in need of plumbing professionals.
I applied and entered the repair field.
I repaired supply lines, sewer lines, taps, waste lines, tankless water heaters, and fuel lines.
With guidance from my leaders and management, I tackled anything related to plumbing.
I chose to apply my master's certification and confidently passed.
