My plumbing career started in 1995 as an apprentice in commercial building.
We handled everything from sewer lines, supply lines, drainage, air lines, disposal lines, and installations like commodes and sinks.
With experience, I gathered enough hours to sit for my journeyman plumbing exam in Austin and achieved it.
I continued my career in new homes.
I worked as a freelancer for 14 years, fitting plumbing in tailored homes.
I returned to business plumbing and took my medical gas certification in Austin, which enabled me to work on new hospitals, multi-story condos, housing complexes, schools, renovations, and add-ons.
A friend of mine mentioned that the maintenance sector was short on plumbing experts.
I applied and entered the service field.
I repaired supply lines, waste lines, sinks, waste lines, instant water heaters, and gas lines.
With support from my supervisors and management, I addressed all plumbing issues.
I chose to test my master plumbing certification and successfully passed.
