I had an unfavorable business encounter with central flooding. The management was difficult to negotiate with, the pricing was unfair and communication was a nightmare. I will not do business with them or recommend anyone to this company. People Skills International

Honestly if it was not for Randy in their restoration department it would be negative stars. I have heard this company being advertised on the radio about how good they are, offer up to $2500 off you deductible, they work with the insurance so you dont have to do anything, and they are an all in one service so you dont have to go anywhere for any work to be completed. The last part is true. The rest was all lies. I was told that since I went with their pack out service I would be receiving $1000 off of my deducible when the work was finished. Well I didn't get that. Their reasoning was that since my work was under budget and the ""negotiated"" their water mitigation price with my insurance company that I would not get it. When they say they work with your insurance company so you dont have to do anything, that was another lie. I was on the phone more with my insurance company that I was with them, trying to figure out why I was the one receiving a partial payment for services done and not the company themselves. They overcharge their clients for work that does not need to be completed ( I will get into some of this in a minute). After begging my insurance company to try and talk with them again to work something out because I did not have another almost $5000 on top of my deductible (that was not being discounted any more) to pay this company. On top of it all they were holding my furniture ransom in their warehouse because once the work was completed they had not received payment from the insurance company. Well no $hit, they were sending it to me and even then only a partial payment since they overcharge. Because we were living in a hotel for 2+months for a really small job, most of my sons autism therapy supplies were packed away and now we were going to be in a house with no furniture in our downstairs, with an autistic son and an infant. Once I figured out a way that I could pay them the money that they finally agreed to with the insurance company (which was over $3000 less than what they originally charged) they put me on the schedule to move in. Oh wait a minute they overbooked that day so no I was out of luck again and had to wait an additional day of living in my house until they could make an ""exception"" and deliver my furniture the following day. The final straw was that they used an environmental service that was unnecessary and I had to pay another $1000 out of pocket since the insurance company said they would not be paying it. This company will smile to your face, and stab you in the back. Stay away if you know what is good for you.

This company also operates under the name Immediate Response. They place advertisements on the front page of Yellow Pages. Don't be fooled. Do not employ this company. They over-bill. They know that insurance companies won't pay their inflated invoice. So they insert in the small print of the contract a provision that the homeowner is responsible for whatever the insurance company won't pay. They then try to intimidate you into paying their inflated bill, for example refusing to release your belongings from storage. These are bad people. If you think you've got problems due to your flood, just wait till you get involved with these people. They'll make sure your problem gets much worse. Save yourself a lot of stress and hire another company instead.

We had a sudden water leak in our house and Central Flood came out to assess right away. Within an hour a whole crew arrived to clean up. Over the years I have learned about the dangers of mold and I feel confident they did everything necessary to prevent mold growth. Their customer service has been great and I also really appreciated the knowlege they have regarding insurance covering our additional living expenses.

I couldn't have asked for a better company!!! The lady in the office was professional and efficient in getting me the help I needed. (mind you, I was hysterical finding a pool in my kitchen on a Friday morning before school drop off) She assured me that things like this happen all the time and everything would be taken care of by the technicians. The guys arrived promptly and wasted no time getting to work. They even walked me though filing my claim with my insurance and spoke to my adjuster directly. Starting from the flood to the pack out and right into the reconstruction, and even getting my claim paid all went without a hitch. This company did it all, and made the whole process completely stress free for my family and I. I recommend this company if you want your job done correctly. Outstanding service!

Central Flood was very quick to arrive on the scene
and dry out the flood water from a 2nd floor broken water pipe.
After a couple of days, Central Flood stated there
is water detected under the 1st floor tile and the tile floor
has to be replaced. My Insurance company asked for a
2nd opinion. I went in person to view the 2nd opinion
and met the insurance adjuster. We watched the 2nd
flood company do an assessment of the flood damage and they
used some devices. The 2nd opinion also stated that there
is water detected under many 1st floor tiles and the tile floor
needed to be replaced. My Insurance company then paid a fair market value price
for the replacement of the tile floor on the 1st floor.
Central Flood had the data and their technicians were
correct with the flood assessment and also, I am glad
the insurance company asked for a 2nd opinion just to
make sure. So, kudos for Central Flood and also for the
insurance company.

I called to have some work done. The job seemed bigger, according to this company, than I thought it to be. Decided to get a second opinion. Gentleman did his part to sell me to use his company, offered to wave my deductible. I still wanted the second opinion. Asked for a quote as numbers had not been discussed. I was told a quote would cost $150.00. I declined. Owner calls me, little upset. Explains they are a good company. Then tells me he's going to black list me with other flood companies, so they would know exactly what kind of customer they were getting. Hmmmm thinking I made the right choice, not the way to earn my business. Buyer beware.

I recently had a flood disaster at my residence. In my urgent need I chose Central Flood Management out of Oceanside, Ca. This was probably my first mistake. They responded within 1 1/2 hr. They quickly went to work extracting the surface water, just enough so the carpet that they were cutting out wouldn't be so heavy. They were supposed to save the carpet for the insurance company to determine if it could be dryed and reused. They quickly, within 12 hrs. disposed of the carpet. They duped me into agreeing to have the walls checked for aspestos and lead, even though I assured them that there was none of this in my walls. They insisted that by law this had to be done. Of course this was all done prior to my insurance company contacting me to say that they are denying my claim. Also, I was never told how much this aspestos and lead testing done by an outside company was going to cost. It cost me $1000.00 to have this test come back as negative for aspestos and lead. Neadless to say as soon as I found out that the insurance company (State Farm) denied my claim, I cancelled the Flood Management operation and went around an shut down all their machines. Their initial cost for 4 days of work was going to be $11,000.00. As it was, I cancelled them before 24 hrs. but they still charged me for 24 hrs. That amounted to over $4,000.00. These people overcharge even though they use the excuse it is the industry standard. They nickel dime the customer for every little thing they use. I would definitely say BUYER BEWARE of these people. They will drain your pocket book and smile at you in the process!

Great Company! The technicians saw us all the way through to the end of the restoration process. We are very happy with the results and can't wait to see what our house sells for.

The owner was rude and very unprofessional. everyone that worked there was very unprofessional and didnt seem to speak english/understand english very well even though they were american. Im glad i decided not to use them
