I’m Caleb, the manager at Central Flood Management. My father established Central Flood in 1986, and I grew up in this business. I worked alongside my two brothers, Jay and Nate, and our four sisters. From an early age, I grasped the ins and outs of this industry. I became certified in water damage restoration, and we’ve been following in our father’s footsteps for over 20 years. We have been delivering emergency plumbing and water damage repair for more than two decades.

We had a sudden water leak in our house and Central Flood came out to assess right away. Within an hour a whole crew arrived to clean up. Over the years I have learned about the dangers of mold and I feel confident they did everything necessary to prevent mold growth. Their customer service has been great and I also really appreciated the knowlege they have regarding insurance covering our additional living expenses.

I couldn't have asked for a better company!!! The lady in the office was professional and efficient in getting me the help I needed. (mind you, I was hysterical finding a pool in my kitchen on a Friday morning before school drop off) She assured me that things like this happen all the time and everything would be taken care of by the technicians. The guys arrived promptly and wasted no time getting to work. They even walked me though filing my claim with my insurance and spoke to my adjuster directly. Starting from the flood to the pack out and right into the reconstruction, and even getting my claim paid all went without a hitch. This company did it all, and made the whole process completely stress free for my family and I. I recommend this company if you want your job done correctly. Outstanding service!

Central Flood was very quick to arrive on the scene
and dry out the flood water from a 2nd floor broken water pipe.
After a couple of days, Central Flood stated there
is water detected under the 1st floor tile and the tile floor
has to be replaced. My Insurance company asked for a
2nd opinion. I went in person to view the 2nd opinion
and met the insurance adjuster. We watched the 2nd
flood company do an assessment of the flood damage and they
used some devices. The 2nd opinion also stated that there
is water detected under many 1st floor tiles and the tile floor
needed to be replaced. My Insurance company then paid a fair market value price
for the replacement of the tile floor on the 1st floor.
Central Flood had the data and their technicians were
correct with the flood assessment and also, I am glad
the insurance company asked for a 2nd opinion just to
make sure. So, kudos for Central Flood and also for the
insurance company.

I called to have some work done. The job seemed bigger, according to this company, than I thought it to be. Decided to get a second opinion. Gentleman did his part to sell me to use his company, offered to wave my deductible. I still wanted the second opinion. Asked for a quote as numbers had not been discussed. I was told a quote would cost $150.00. I declined. Owner calls me, little upset. Explains they are a good company. Then tells me he's going to black list me with other flood companies, so they would know exactly what kind of customer they were getting. Hmmmm thinking I made the right choice, not the way to earn my business. Buyer beware.

I recently had a flood disaster at my residence. In my urgent need I chose Central Flood Management out of Oceanside, Ca. This was probably my first mistake. They responded within 1 1/2 hr. They quickly went to work extracting the surface water, just enough so the carpet that they were cutting out wouldn't be so heavy. They were supposed to save the carpet for the insurance company to determine if it could be dryed and reused. They quickly, within 12 hrs. disposed of the carpet. They duped me into agreeing to have the walls checked for aspestos and lead, even though I assured them that there was none of this in my walls. They insisted that by law this had to be done. Of course this was all done prior to my insurance company contacting me to say that they are denying my claim. Also, I was never told how much this aspestos and lead testing done by an outside company was going to cost. It cost me $1000.00 to have this test come back as negative for aspestos and lead. Neadless to say as soon as I found out that the insurance company (State Farm) denied my claim, I cancelled the Flood Management operation and went around an shut down all their machines. Their initial cost for 4 days of work was going to be $11,000.00. As it was, I cancelled them before 24 hrs. but they still charged me for 24 hrs. That amounted to over $4,000.00. These people overcharge even though they use the excuse it is the industry standard. They nickel dime the customer for every little thing they use. I would definitely say BUYER BEWARE of these people. They will drain your pocket book and smile at you in the process!

Great Company! The technicians saw us all the way through to the end of the restoration process. We are very happy with the results and can't wait to see what our house sells for.

The owner was rude and very unprofessional. everyone that worked there was very unprofessional and didnt seem to speak english/understand english very well even though they were american. Im glad i decided not to use them

The only reason this place gets one star is because I can't give them none. Horrible, horrible and just plain horrible! They are total crooks. Without going to details, they overcharge, are unprofessional, have no regard to your property. They are only after money, they placed a lien on our house before even producing an invoice. They were fired from the job but would not come to get their equipments. All the girls that answer the phone are rude! Most awful experience of our lives dealing with these shady unprofessional crooks!

I'm shocked that there aren't any reviews on this horrible company! Also called Immediate Response. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!! My husband & I got a frantic call from my mom as she was leaving town for vacation because her hot water heater had burst & she only realized it as she was leaving for the airport & went to turn it to a vacation setting. The entire thing burst & left a giant flood in the lower level of her town home. Being a crisis situation that needed immediate attention, we went through the Yellow Pages & found this company. The first guys who came over gave me quotes for the machines & made me sign my life away on paperwork & took my mother's Persian Rug to dry, which I asked them not to do (as well as remarked on some of her expensive furnishings in her house, which made me feel very uneasy, like they were going to rob her). They also assured me that we could use another company at any time after signing all the papers & reading the fine print.
I explained to them that we weren't living there & both worked, so they swore that they would meet me there to get the machines out first thing Monday. Well, they didn't show up, made me late for work & then charged us for a total of 6 days, which ended up being thousands of dollars for the use of these drying machines. Then they had an asbestos guy come after the property manager confirmed that none of the units in the complex had ever had any asbestos, but the report came back that we did. I was suspicious because the guy from Immediate Response, high-fived the Asbestos guy when he left, like they knew each other well, which I've learned is why one should always use an independent lab instead of one recommended by the plumbing company. Then I told I.R that we were using our own plumber to install the new water heater and that they would have to be there to take down all of the plastic, etc before our plumber came, which they said was fine & that all he had to do was unplug the machines. Well, again they didn't show up on time, so the plumber had to take down the plastic, which they put up will tape that took all the paint off of my mom's walls. The owner's son finally showed up while the plumber was installing the new heater & he proceeded to rant & rave at my mother for having her plumber there. Then he got in a fight with our sweet plumber & his assistant, calling them stupid A-holes, etc. My mom was completely distraught & when she wouldn't sign off on there paperwork, the guy starting yelling and cursing at her & threatened her by saying if she didn't sign the F-ing paper work that he would leave all of the blowers in her house until she did. She called me crying & didn't know what to do. It took months to get her Persian rug back & they charged her $6000 for their stupid machines & terrible services. The bottom line is these people ARE CROOKS! They feed off of people who have an emergency on their hands & instill fear of mold, etc & have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. When people call them, it's because they've had a flood or some sort of crisis & instead of being soothing & efficient, they are difficult, rude & outrageously expensive. My mother had to call them to speak to the owner about 10 times before she ever had him return her calls & then when she explained what had happened, he was as equally rude to her. It was a very stressful, unpleasant experience to say the least. I hope this review will prevent others from having to deal with these creeps!

Had a busted water heater that flooded our house. Pulled out our Yellow Pages and came across their ad that said, ""IMMEDIATE RESPONSE"" and ""We answer our phones 24/7."" Well I dialed their phone number in ad 858-459-9795 and got some bizarre voice mail. I left a message. They never responded back. No address listed for ""Central Flood Management"" either. So much for their ""we answer our phones 24/7!""
