These folks are the worst and after reading all the 1 Star reviews and the fake 5 Star reviews it makes sense why I needed to also add my experience for others to read. It started with leak coming from our water heater. We called the home warranty (HWA) and a claim was opened and 2 days later a plumber from Center Guard arrived. He took a look at the water heater and did some troubleshooting and informed us we will need a new water heater. We now had to wait for another approval from the home warranty company to approve a new water heater.
Finally they came with the new water heater and it was installed yet we could let get any hot water. That's where they said it would be an extra charge to get hot water. And it just went downhill from there where we were told there was a piece missing and we would need to purchase it. Which made absolutely no sense since this was a brand new water heater. Please stay away from this company l, they are crooks!

Friendly tech who took all the time and work necessary to look into and fully figure out the issue we had (and he was outdoors on a frigid snowy day in Dec.) He worked hard to grind out our entire pipe full of overgrown tree roots that had been causing flooding over and over. Thank goodness they came because the company we had used before was a complete waste of time and money and told us they fixed the problem when they didn't at all.

I wish is zero stars for this scammers and dishonest company.My water heater died on wednesday ,i make claim same day,cover with my insurance.I paid 75$ extra on top of 100$ required,plumber show up on Saturday,saying they will be there on following monday.I call on monday all day between them and insurance,they finally show up at my house on wednesday(after 7 days without hot water in my house).They installed water heater and try to hit me with extra charge for""modification plumbing"" which i did not paid!! dishonest and scammers company!.I will report them to better business bureau!!!

I wish zero stars was an option, I myself am a contractor and not in a million years would I think to treat customers the way this garbage company does business. If you call with a home warranty issue don't waste your time. These clowns came out to my home, not only didn't fix what they came out to do, they caused my main water line to leak. Then told me they were gonna fix it, well there ""plumber forgot"" to fix it before he left and I was told I'd have to pay for them to come back. Which by the way, would cost $140 when the original charge to come out was $100 thru the warranty. This I was told after 2 weeks of a leaking faucet which Ive had a bucket under, that Ive had to empty out 2 times a day. My phone calls were not returned or I was put on hold for 45mins so I would hang up. Absolutely terrible, I've owned two homes over the last 17yrs, one a rental property, I've dealt with dozens of contractors and small businesses, never in my life have I had to deal with such incompetence and finger pointing. Awful experience, please do not use this business, and If you have to deal with some bozo named Keith your in for a real treat. Apparently the customer is wrong and he is right about everything even though he wasn't on site. Worst small business I have ever dealt with.

Don't know what the bad reviews were about, phone service was helpful, the plumber and helper that came out for the job were good at what they did. If you think they had a bad attitude, you try working with other peoples $@ (waste) and see how you feel.

If you have HWA, don't even bother putting in a plumbing claim and having these guys come out. If you're looking to hire a plumber, definitely don't spend your money on these guys. This is the only plumber that services the Lake county area if you're using HWA, so unfortunately I used them. I explained multiple times what was wrong with my sump and that it needed to be replaced. The tech that came over was very nice but he didn't even bring any tools with him. He walked in, unplugged my sump, said there was ice in the pump and that I should plug it back in later. Well guess what, the sump didn't work after I plugged it back in. I tried for 4 hours to get in contact with them to have another tech come back out. They told me I had to go back through HWA to have a recall referral put in and then once I did that, they couldn't get ahold of their own plumber for hours. After numerous phone calls, they finally said HWA wouldn't cover the replacement sump if the sump had been burned out because of ice in the pipe. So they basically came out and took my $100 for nothing knowing that the pump needed to be replaced and HWA wouldn't cover it. I did not hire this company to replace the sump but instead called Arrow Plumbing who was wonderful. Listen to all of these reviews and DO NOT hire these guys. Just pay out of pocket up front and hire a good plumber.

i had a problem with the disposable in the sink, and i called nicor solutions and they had center guard come out, they knew exactly the problem and they fixed the problem by replacing the disposable with a new one. and now i had a toilet problem, the insides of the tank had to be replaced. water was running without being manually flushed and center guard came out and replaced the parts .i am most happy with the work that they performed. Nicor solutions and center guard plumbing are the best of the best. I love nicor solutions, because they give you peace of mind and i love center guard plumbing too because they give you peace of mind. . thank you nicor solutions and center guard plumbing

This company is the best! They know immediately what is wrong, fix it and explain everything as they go. They are efficient, good fees, and professional!

They set up a 2 hour window with me, no showed me, set up another 2 hour window the next day, and no showed again. Zero professionalism and zero respect for their customers.
