This company is great. I have worked with Chris before. They are on-time, honest and professional. If your looking for a NO BS (Pardon the French) Company...You have found it. Most importantly there guys are clean. Plumbing is very messy and to have great clean up and clean vehicles i think that says a lot. Thanks again guys for your help.

I have HWA warranty, had no hot water last night, I submitted the claim online, Center Guard called me in the morning and were able to come over in few hours later. took care of the problem and were very knowledgeable and fast. A+

Filed a claim using HWA and they connected me to Center Guard. They came to my home right on time, assessed the leak, identified the problem, and fixed it quickly. I would call them again if I have another plumbing issue.

HWA (my home warrnaty) gave center gaurd plumbing as an option and I chose them based off of yelp reviews. I don't know how much they charge because my warranty covered everything.

They are on time! Whatever time frame they give you, be ready for them to show up at the beginning of the time frame. Our water heater was leaking and our shower stopped shooting out cold water. These guys replaced the water heater and fixed the shower problem within 2 hours. They also explained everything and what was wrong, what needs to be fixed. They also said the problem comes back or if they missed something, they would come back and take a look at it.

Highly recommend these guys.

I can't give Center Guard plumbing a lower review than one start, if i could, I would give them 0. First things first, 3 plumbers came out to my house to fix a backed up sink and tub, both drain slowly and the tub has a leak. They didn't have the parts on the truck to fix the tub and I was told that I would receive a phone call the following Monday or Tuesday with price quote. They fixed the sink no problem. I never received a phone call and on Wednesday, I called to see what was going on. After explaining the situation, I was told that the plumber would give me a call, after 6 pm, I received a call from a gentleman who sounded drunk, I might add, who told me that he had never been to my house before, but his name was on the work order so it had to be him. He told me the guy who writes the claims would give me a call the following Monday because he was on vacation. The following Wednesday I call back due to no follow up. Finally the following Monday, they tell me I would receive a phone call back. Tuesday Morning I get a phone call saying the plumber will be at my home between 11-1. He shows up saying he is there to fix the already repaired kitchen sink and said that parts were not on the truck for the bathtub and someone would have to provide a price quote. The members of staff at Center Guard are unprofessional, rude, speak a big game with no follow through and not getting any more of my money!

P.S. I have gone with another plumber to fix the issue!

Had some issues that I thought I fixed myself on Sunday.....Monday, issue was back; I went and bought an auger to snake the toilet myself...no go, used all tools that this handy-gal could...had to call-in the pros. Called CenterGuard. Came the next morning, couldn't get to the issue with their Big-Boy Auger, so scheduled to come back in the afternoon after the toilet drained down. Came back within the hour they stated and within 15 minutes had the toilet off, the Mac-Daddy auger through and cleared the issue. Clean up and toilet back on in another 10 minutes.

What I love: come when they say they're going to come, without 4 hour windows of time that you have to ""wait around""; quote the job and follow-through; Clean-up and take care of house; work quickly and efficiently with little disruption to house or schedule.

Not so much: My newer toilet (Kohler - about 3 years old) now scratched and stained in bottom of bowl because of auger (not sure avoidable) - cannot remove stains...no longer new looking.*sigh*

Would call again and again. Very professional.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Two plumbers showed up in a regular van and did not have all the parts to do the job. I was connected to them by Nicor Solutions. Very disappointed!

I have nothing but good things to say about this plumbing company. All the plumbers are very nice guys who really know their stuff and the get it done right the first time. Ive had them out at my house at least 4 times this year and each time i have been left very satisfied! Please call these guys before you talk to anyone else..

I am giving this business 4 out of 5 for courtesy, professionalism & patience. It would have been 5 out of 5 if the tankless water heater noise could have been duplicated and taken care of. Maddeningly, in the same way the tooth stops hurting when you go to the dentist, the problem appeared to have vanished! However, the technician made a thorough check and was very reassuring. He did not try to sell me anything, pretend there was a big problem or just stand there and do nothing. This is a thoroughly professional business and I am grateful for Nicor's referral. Next time I have a plumbing problem, this is the business I will call. Oh yes, and they were on time :)

Chris at Center Guard saved our butts! We just moved into a foreclosure a few weeks ago and within the first week our basement had a swimming pool in it and it was raining in our basement from the ceiling after every time we took a shower. We couldn't find where it was leaking from and were so worried we would have to tear open walls/rip up the floor to find where the problem was. It turns out tree roots were invading our sewer system where our sewer meets up with the city's sewer line at the street and everything was backing up when we used large amounts of water (showered) and the toilet in the first floor half bath had a broken flange in the floor- so everything was backing up to that point and then leaking out of that broken flange onto the half bath floor and went through the floor and leaked into the basement (hence the raining). He came back and spent about 2.5hrs clearing out the tree roots. He came back a second time to fix the broken flange in the bathroom. When he was here the second time we asked if he would mind taking a look at our bathroom upstairs. Back story- we had a ""family friend plumber"" (someone my in-laws used for 10+ years) come over to install our new toilets upstairs and new shower fixtures (easy to do). In attempting to replace the shower fixtures he managed to break the shower valve and told us he would have to break off the tile in the shower to get behind it to fix the valve and shower plumbing because it was ""done wrong"". He basically told us we had to remodel our entire shower. We don't have that money in our budget right now so I told him to just leave. Ok- so today when Chris came by to fix the broken toilet flange he wanted to see what the other plumber did. He took a look and in less than 5 seconds told us he would be able to fix the problem in just a couple of minutes and he had everything he needed to fix it in his truck right now. He fixed it so fast and saved us from having to remodel the entire bathroom! Chris is a lifesaver and we would HIGHLY recommend Center Guard for honest responsible plumbing services. We will be using them for all our future plumbing needs and recommending them to all our friends whenever they need a plumber. Yay Chris!
