The technician double charged me for over $1000 in services mid January. Accounting department said they sent a refund which I have not received mid February. Is there a scam going on? Are they running out of money? In addition, one of their clerical people uses bad grammar.

One of your plumbers, Jon Moon, was here this morning to work on a chronically leaking faucet and dead garbage disposal. He arrived exactly at the beginning of the window the dispatcher had promised. He was exceptionally courteous and knowledgeable, and took time to show me everything he was doing. He also looked over other things like the hot water heaters to make sure there no signs pending problems. I have been a customer of C&C for many years, and never had a single complaint about the employees or their work.

We are new to the area and were in need of a wall unit asap! They were prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. The unit had to be ordered and they even offered to come and install a window unit in between time!! I would recommend using this company and have seen their trucks in our neighborhood- obviously others feel the same!!

It's very hard to get an honest opinion about what is wrong with your air conditioning unit with the techs. I've had to ask for a different more experienced tech to look at my system to tell me it needs to be cleaned and that's it. And when you ask how much something will cost always add 30-50% to what they tell you. It's a shame bc they used to be a decent company to deal with. When I see ppl look ok'ing at their adds at Costco I always tell them my horrible experiences and to stay away!

Beware when using this company. We had them service both our heating and cooling systems and every time they came out they found something wrong. Every technician that came out found new things wrong. Come to find out they work on commissions. Always pushing for expensive fixes. Had a smaller family run company out after the told me our AC compressor needed to be replaced and for $500 got it running like a charm. Will never use C&C again. Should tell you their technicians are paid via commission, I will not use them again.

I had a new unit put in by this company in Jan, 2016. After the installation, my daughter noticed faint spots on the bedroom ceiling. These spots had definitely not been there before the installation. Company stated that it was my old unit that caused it. My old unit was working great and never left marks on the ceiling. I had AC replaced because my old unit was SO old, I thought I would eventually have to replace it, and didn't want that to happen in the middle of the summer. Secondly, I had another problem with the unit completely shutting off and not restarting due to water too high in the pan. I was advised on the phone to suck the water out of the drain tube outside which I did and which allowed unit to start again. A technician came out later and said something was stuck in drain hose (remember, this had never happened before with the old unit). This year, my fan motor stopped working, and I was without AC, temperature inside was 87 degrees. The technician said he would be able to come out on Mon., after getting to the shop. I eventually called the company, and they could not get me into their schedule until the next day, even though I had joined their """"comfort club"""" and was supposed to get priority scheduling. I am almost 70 and have tachycardia when the weather gets too hot and for some reason I lose too much salt in my system, messing up my electrolytes. I couldn't stand another day/night in this weather. I called another company in Charleston, and they came out within hours. I am through with C & C Myers!

Great service, great company, always a positive experience. I would not trust anyone elce in town to touch my moms a.c. unit. Phone girls to the techs that come out are always friendly, knowledgeable and prompt!

I think that the C&C Myers crew is a very knowledgeable group, they have fixed my HVAC unit before when I needed it done quickly. This year they were here for my annual check up, and I was unconcerned because my system was running fine. I figured they would check my systems and may pitch me one or two fixes that would keep my HVAC running in tip top shape. As we looked at each unit, the tech mentioned some minor issues that were not severe, and a couple things that he recommended to be replaced. After that, he sat in his van for about 30 minutes getting five options together ranging from over $1,600 to just under $500. I didn't mind that because I know some people would pay for all of it just to have everything running new, but again, my HVAC was running fine. So he walked me through the different options and as I declined each one, we reached the last option, """"the band-aid plan"""". I was considering doing about half of that plan but when I hesitated on the second half of the plan, the tech asked me, """"If I can get the price down on that second half, do you think we could do that today?"""" I said it was possible and he said, """"Well let me call the office to see if we have any specials going on."""" I did not really see a need to stop him here, but I was thinking.... why didn't he call the office while he was in the van pricing everything out for any specials? Kinda suspicious. So he got out his phone and called into the office where he spoke to the receptionist briefly before being forwarded to """"management"""". While being forwarded, I could hear the tech turning down the volume on his phone (it's not subtle when someone does this on an iPhone) so I could not hear the other end of the conversation. Then when someone else started talking on the other end, the tech asked about any specials, but never mentioned the part I """"needed"""" even after telling me that he was calling in about a specific part. There was a pause on the other end of the phone and then they said, """"You can do 30"""". The tech acted pleasantly surprised, thanked """"management,"""" and hung up. Then he told me he could take $30 off of the $198 for the part. When I told him that wasn't enough for me to make it happen today, he asked me to wait a moment while he got a new pricing list from his van. When he returned, he told me that he wasn't really even supposed to do this, but with his new updated pricing book, he could take another $60 off the price and management wouldn't even catch it. So at this point I said never mind. Thanks, but no thanks. I wrote the check for the checkup and the tech left. He even apologized and said he hope he didn't offend me. Why apologize if you are not doing anything wrong? This is upsetting. First, I am proposed a $1600 plan that has a lot of unnecessary extras in it. Then when I am looking at some realistic options, I realize that the price sheet is not based on any real numbers because apparently they can be changed at the discretion of the tech depending on how close they think they are to a sale. If the tech had brought me less options and for a more reasonable price, I would have considered each option more seriously. And if he had given me one honest recommendation on what needed to be done, I probably would have taken it and worked with him that same day. I sincerely hope that his dishonestly was not encouraged by the management of C&C Myers. I know I cannot fix my HVAC unit myself and for that a reason, I rely on the integrity of companies like C&C Myers to tell me the facts and cut out the rest of the nonsense.

I want to take time to tell anyone who reads this what an unbelievably wonderful experience i had with C & C....about 3 weeks ago....i had friends staying at my place and the night before they left....they called to say that water was pouring out from under the ref and the wall........i am 1000 miles away.....called water co to come and turn off water....and a handyman at 8:30 at night to come to look at situation.....he had to cut wall out when he figured out it was not the ref.....and that it was the AC airhandler.....anyway.....i had just had a service....but naturally the service tech does not have xray vision......the unit which is 10 years old was improperly installed and had been having ongoing flooding and water damage on and off for a very long time......they came right away and repaired the prob according to code.....and even reimbursed me for the money i had to pay the handyman to try to figure out what was going on......how many businesses would do something like this today....nothing but goodwill on their part....and they didn't have to go the extra mile....thank you Tim Myers

We have used C&C Myers Heating and A/C a few times in various apartments we lived in where our landlord would not address our concerns. The professionalism of their staff, quick response times and thoroughness of the technicians have kept us a loyal customer. Now that we have bought a house, we are looking forward to continuing to rely on C&C Myers with all of our HVAC needs!
