The acronym C.A.W. represents Carey Arthur Woods IV - the fourth generation from the clan. Chip Woods serves as a third generation HVAC Contractor in our family. About 60 years ago, Chip's ancestor, Carey Woods Jr., departed his job as Design Engineer at Bryant Air Conditioning in Tyler, Texas and created C. Woods Company in Tyler.

When Chip's dad, Carey Woods III, came back from duty in the Navy in 1977, he purchased JP Morrow, a comprehensive heating and A/C company, in Alice, Texas. For over 20 years, Chip's father led JP Morrow before handing it over to move back to Tyler and assume control of C. Woods Company from his retiring parent. It could be said that the Woods family has air conditioning in their heritage.

Chip Woods obtained his degree from Texas A&M in Kingsville in 1993. In 1995, at the age of 25, he acquired his TACLA license and started his own venture, operating as C.A.W. Company, Inc. ever since.

At C.A.W., we hold our clients warrant the finest cooling and A/C systems we can provide. C.A.W. believes that focusing on excellence and detail evidently distinguishes us from the rest. An AC company can't thrive long nor become one of the biggest repair providers in the region unless it provides the best value possible by providing first-class assistance as well as uncompromising standards at a fair price.
