Got estimates from five different HVAC companies. Temperature Control Corp's bid was fair and reasonable by comparison. Met with owner David Parker whose presentation was thorough, considerate, and informative. (He also stopped by regularly during the installation to check on his crew's progress and was there to meet with the city permit inspector to insure the work passed inspection.) A few additional financial incentives arranged for with the office manager convinced us to go with Temperature Control. While we did have a few installation concerns that needed to be addressed over the three or four days it took to complete the job, each was resolved to our satisfaction and we now couldn't be happier with the result. The Carrier Infinity HVAC they installed is extremely quiet, efficient, and highly effective. There are days when we completely forget that it's 100 degrees outside. Any questions we've had about the operation of the unit have been answered helpfully and immediately by the staff. We did have a question regarding the unit's operation early on and the technician who was sent out to investigate was highly knowledgeable and skilled. Note: We almost went with a Lennox HVAC, but wider parts availability and Temperature Control's many years experience with the company convinced us to go with Carrier.

I contacted around 10 different vendors to get quotes on a replacement for my outdated furnace + AC. Most of them sent a less-knowledgeable sales tech out and gave unimpressive advice/solutions. With Temperature Control, I was able to work with David, the owner, via email to receive a quote based on pictures I had sent pending a final verification where he came out and assessed the project himself. It was quite nice not to be pressured into a visit to my home (especially during COVID) while going through the ballpark quoting process. David was very knowledgeable and steered us away from a more expensive solution I had originally asked for that he didn't think would work well for our home to a very reasonable, high quality Mitsubishi heat pump + air handler solution. His quote for this system, even before current rebate incentives, also came in around $2500 less than most quotes I received to have my system replaced with a traditional furnace + AC. Temperature Control is a Diamond Dealer for Mitsubishi and as such is also able to install these systems with a 12 year warranty.

I was very impressed with David's knowledge, responsiveness and price so I decided to go with Temperature Control and the Mitsubishi system for our project. It was estimated to be a 1-1.5 day project. Three members of the team arrived on the first day of the install on time and began the work.

As they were removing my old system they noticed that we had significant issues with our existing air return ducting that couldn't have otherwise been seen at quoting time. This is where I really can't stress enough how happy I am to have gone with Temperature Control for this installation. The team alerted me to the issues with my current return ducting and let me know that while they could go and install the unit as planned, they wouldn't recommend doing this as it would lead to significantly lower air quality. I figured that at this point the project was going to go off the rails as we were now going to need to spend more time planning, open some walls to install ducts, move the install location of the air handler, and change the plan on some of the connector ducting. However, much to my surprise, the team worked quickly with me and David to make a new game plan. The new plan involved all of the above work as well as some custom ducting fabrication. They proposed an honest, reasonable, and frankly less-than-expected change order fee for the additional work which I accepted. All of this was done within an hour and the crew immediately finished the day getting as far as possible with the new plan.

After waiting a day for the custom ducting to be fabricated, they then had a 3-person crew working for two full additional days to complete the project. The level of detail and care that the crew put in while working is remarkable -- they really care about the quality of their work. At the end of the project we now have an air handler installed on the other side of our garage from originally planned, brand new return ducting installed into our home, and custom metal ducting installed to connect the new unit in an as-hidden-as-possible fashion to the existing ducting on the other side of our garage. The team went above and beyond in delivering a high-quality install and were able to work through any/all of the challenges that they ran into with skill and ease. Most importantly they genuinely cared about me as a customer and my home having the best possible outcome.

Installation aside, the Mitsubishi M-series 3-ton Heat Pump unit we installed is great! The air handler makes virtually no noise compared to our previously quite-loud furnace and the outdoor unit is also significantly quieter than any traditional AC I've seen installed. The system can also run in a dry mode which is quite nice for homes that have high humidity closer to the water.

If you have the chance, you won't be disappointed working with Temperature Control for this sort of a project. I'm pretty sure that I could not have had a better outcome for my project, and while not inexpensive, their quote was honest and still lower than quite a few other quotes I had gotten.

I have been using Temperature Control for approximately 15-16 years and have never been so disappointed as I have been today. I had an appointment scheduled 2 months in advance with Rey and received text on Friday after they closed for the day stating that Rey would not be available on Monday as scheduled and they would have to reschedule my appointment for another day. They stated I would receive a call on Monday to arrange another scheduled appointment; I never received a call nor did I receive a call from David, the owner. I will never use them again!

Most AC companies came out and did the Sales thing. You know?!, the very LA thing of beginning every sentence with ""Listen my friend.....no problem. Everything is going to be fine"".
Look ""my friend"" we're not in the bizarre selling trinkets anymore. Time for some clean wholesome refreshing honesty and professionalism. David has this in spades.
And I learned a bit more about the mechanics of air conditioning. I recommend him to everyone!

I called Temp-Control on the recomendation of a realtor friend of mine. My central air conditioning unit was making a loud buzzing sound, then suddenly the noise would stop but so would the cooling.
The repairman was on time, polite, professional and friendly. He not only repaired the problem (very quickly) but explained clearly how the problem came to be and what to look out for in the future.
Very pleased with the repair service and the schedulers working in the office for finding a way to get my appointment in during one of the hottest (and I'm sure busiest) weeks of the summer. Totally recomend.

In this day and age, we are all working on saving some $. Was referred to temperature control corp by a friend explaining their professionalism. My a/c unit has not really been doing its job recently and wanted to know if it was time to replace or could it be repaired.

Called and spoke with Jackie. Give her my concerns and she suggested having the unit looked at. We scheduled an appointment and the tech to come take a look. The gentleman came...checked out the unit and made some repair suggestions. The cost of the repair was far and away less then a new unit. My place is cold and I am quiet happy.
