I am extremely impressed with the Casteel team and I am equally impressed with Lennox. I've already seen a major decrease in my utility bills. I recently purchased a ranch on a basement and from day one I knew the split HVAC system needed to be replaced. I work for a company that does large scale commercial HVAC and one thing I know is you can't cheat on the install. A good install and good equipment means longevity!!! With that being said most of the salesman from other companies wanted to use pre-existing stuff to cut cost. Also they advertised one brand but try to push a lesser brand at the same price. I'm sure you've all seen their flyers! Seth was the salesman did a great job of going over every detail and answered all my questions. Scott and Jose where the install team leaders, I felt extremely comfortable leaving my house and letting them do their job! Jeremiah return later to connect both of my units to the internet and setup my icomfort account. What more can I say!!!!!!!

When knights heating and air was its own company the customer service was wonderful. Since being taken over by Casteel proper and polite customer service is no longer a thing. Called with concerns today that we had not received our redi maintenance plan in the mail that we have had with knights for 6 years. We were informed that """"knights was no more"""" and that our plan had expired. Why was it not sent out was our next question, no answer. Then told a plan we have paid $150 for every year has now been up'd to $180 with no warning or noticed. Again was told """"knights is no more"""" this is our price. Even discussed calling else where and getting other prices, conversation ended with a """"good luck"""" so rude and unprofessional. Knights was better off before the merge.

We've been using Casteel for over a dozen years. Their service has been fast and fair.

I must update my review on Casteel heating, cooling and plumbing. After my review the company reached out to me to see what they could do to make it right. When I received a reply I thought it was a form response in which no one would follow up, but NO!!! I was greatly shocked that they did. This company does care about making their clients happy. The biggest complaint for me was unfair pricing. They made it RIGHT! So if you are ever in the market for plumbing, electrical or HVAC, I highly recommend this company because of their expertise, honesty and integrity! Which is to often few and far in between. If you want the job done right CALL CASTEEL!!

I'll start off by saying that everyone on the phone is super nice. It almost warranted a second star, but sucks-to-suck I guess. Since August, I've had them here too many times because of incompetence and lack of knowledge about how to repair systems. The story starts with an A/C system that stopped working in August 2020. A $300 repair lasted less than 24 hours and the system stopped working again. The next day a tech indicated the system was too old to fix again (leaked freon, which it didn't do until Casteel touched the system...anyway), and now I needed an new $6K A/C unit. Fine. A few days later (a Friday) and a dent in the wallet, the A/C was installed. Less than 24 hours after they leave, no cold air. A different technician comes out on a Sunday, and indicated the entire system was faulty and would need to be re-replaced...ugh. But Monday when the original installers came to re-replace the unit, they discovered it was simply a factory fitting that wasn't tight and leaked out the freon...they tightened, re-filled, and everything worked...finally...after 3 day with no A/C from a new system in Georgia! Yeah Casteel! Now comes Thanksgiving and the cold weather, and my heat isn't working (short cycling, not getting warm in the house). The next day, the Casteel tech said that during the A/C installation, the heating jets were knocked out of alignment and were no longer hitting the flame sensor. Easy fix there, but it also melted a pipe that needed repairs. My house could of burned down!! He made a temporary repair which allowed the heat to work, and a little over a week later the replacement parts were installed. Less than 12 hours later, no heat again. Another technician came and this time I'm told the problem is the flue needed """"re-adjusting"""". But that tech isn't """"trained"""" in repairing the metal, so ANOTHER tech needs to come out and do that. So I'm sitting 3 days now in freezing weather...house is holding at 55F using the stove and oven, but fish dying, I have health problems etc...totally sucks when you think the people you rely on to help you are as clueless as you...if not more! Short of it is, unless you have tons of time and patience to deal with techs that are very narrow in scope and lack broad skills (or any it seems at times), go ahead and call Casteel. You'll get to meet the entire team over the course of your repair! Update: I added a star. Honestly the people on the phone are very sympathetic and polite; not that it helps getting my equipment repaired, but they are nice and friendly people. Secondly, the original technician did come back last night and worked late making sure it was fixed once and for all.

Technician was great! I was able to receive an appointment the same day I called. Although I agreed on the estimate, I later found out that $250 for one ballast in one light was very pricey. I emailed and asked for a breakdown of the services. I was informed they couldn't do that. Odd! I was told that 60% was installation and 40% was labor? What about the parts? This experience would cause me not too user them again. Plus, the cost Hi! As stated above, I agreed to the estimate. But...the invoice only said ballast $219, service $39...nothing else. After speaking to other electricians bc I had the work done (Casteel said it could have been an electrical emergency due to smelling gas), I learned the quote was extremely pricey. This is when I asked for the breakdown which I did not receive. I also asked a question bc there is a delay. This question was not answered. I have the email if needed. Allison Wirth 30043

My technician David was absolutely amazing. I needed both of the showers in my new home fixed and he and Casteel were able to help me get it done in a pinch. He was professional, and the results are amazing. I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much

-1star i was scamed! Had a leak in my basement. Casteel came out and advised I need a new water heater. My WH was 4 years old. I purchased a new water heater and install $2000. Nevertheless, I still had the leak and it was determined to be my condensing line. Casteel sent out and HVAC tech who glued the pcv pipe. Still have the leak. Casteel sent out the 2nd HVAC tech who advise I need a new coil. SCAM LIKLEY!!!!!

Alexia was my sale rep. She was very patient with me. She was very good at following up. She explained everything thoroughly. She answered every question I asked. So far I am happy with the unit I purchased.

Leaking toilet. Called on a Monday evening and had a tech out the following morning. Reasonable price ($50 off coupon). Tech was fast, efficient and friendly. I'll use them for sure in the future.
