It's unfortunate when you choose the wrong people to represent your company. Sandy has to be the worst receptionist ever and I would never have her represent a business I was running and wanting to be successful. Because of her horrible customer service and lack of common sense, I will never use this company again. The techs are friendly and professional and eventully the job that they originallly screwed up when building my house, finally got fixed. The management has to be blind not to see the very bad investment they've made in the pathetic, miserable person that answers the phone.

This has been a week long nightmare for me. So far they have been to my house 4 times and still the problem is not fixed. The first day the connectors were fried so he swapped it and didn't look at anything else. He talked to my roomate about getting out of the A.C. repair business because fiber is the next big thing. He spent more time talking about that than looking at my Air conditioner. The second day the A.C blew half the breakers in my house because the tech the first day put the wires back wrong and one got pinched by the fan. Again the tech didn't check anything else out. The third day I didn't notice it wasn't working right away but when I did turned of the ac outside at the breaker and at the controlls but didn't realize there was one upstairs as well. It kept running and froze up and started leaking into my downstairs ceiling. The same guy as day one came out. The connectors were magically fried again and he replaced the valve in the condenser. He told me if I turn on my AC its at my own risk and they won't cover it till an electrian comes out. I had an electrcian out and he said everything was fine and replaced all the parts associated with the ac just in case. He was awesome and came out within 30 minutes of a call on saturday. I call them back saying it better be covered if I turn it back on and they said ok. Turned it back on and a day and a half later my ac still isn't keeping up. I call them and talk to the manager. I in the mean time had turned it off and blew the fan and it was working for the moment. The manager tells me to call back when its broke and gave me some tthings to check for. When it happened again I checked those things and called them back. They sent the same guy out again and he said it was the valve which he had already fixed. He didn't have the part on his van and said if he comes back then they are going to charge. He strongly suggested to call someone else or request someone else. I should mention that during the third trip and this trip all he did is complain about having to work late and how he had already called his wife because he was on the way home and acted like he should get some sympathy from me. I left a message for the manager and I haven't had a call back. I have called another company rather than wasting my money on poor service and not fixing my problem. If you ever think about using them think again. it has been a bad week.

HORRIBLE service. Tried to have them come out for an estimate at a rental property several times. The first time they no showed. They called my tenant to say they were on their way and then never showed up. I tried calling them back a few days later, several times, only to reach a random voicemail box that said nothing about "Casa Mechanical" on the message. Finally was able to reach them again and they told me they had nothing scheduled for that address or under my name or LLC name. I told them I would give them another chance and asked them to call and reschedule with my tenant. They did call my tenant, he was on the other line and they said they would call him back in 10 minutes, which never happened. Here I am today, calling them yet again and being told there is no history of me calling to schedule anything for my rental property. SERIOUSLY? They even suggested that "anyone could call in here with this story and ask for a discount" when I told him I didn't think it would be fair to pay full price for a service call given this insane run-around. Terrible customer service, will not be using them.

I really don't get the negative reviews, and can only guess that most satisfied customers don't take the time to review their HVAC service.

Our experience was quite different: we had another company come out first and gave us a quote that was DOUBLE Casa's! While the other company said the unit was not repairable, somehow Casa was able to fix it (for much less than replacement). Three months later, we're still humming along with our cool A/C. It did take a few days to get the part they needed, but once it arrived, they were back here and had fixed the unit in no time.

One of our A/C units went out and another company told us BOTH units needed to be replaced! Casa came out and replaced one, but repaired the other. They were honest, punctual, and efficient, and had us back up and running in no time!

After 15 years my water softener finally cratered. I called the company that installed it originally and simply wanted them to replace with a same or similar model. They would not unless they send a salesman out ( translation: try and upsell me to a more expensive product).

I called Casa Mechanical to see it they had Water softeners since they have done great plumbing and air conditioning work for me in the past. They did, but since I only run soft water on the hot side only they did not have the smaller size in stock. They ordered it in and in 48 hours I had WHAT I WANTED, at a great price with great service. While they were installing the softener, I had a small faucet adjustment that I asked if they could fix. They fixed it and just said "no charge - that is what service is all about".

The more I rely on Casa Mechanical, the more I realize they are my "go to" in any mechanical problem at my house. Don't even think about trying someone else.

Whatever you do, don't rely on Casa to fix your AC. The person who answers the phone will be rude and tell you that she has "no earthly idea" when they can make it out to fix your AC. When they call you back at 10 PM to tell you that they'll have a tech out at 10:45 PM on a weeknight and you say that that doesn't work for you, because your entire family is ASLEEP, they will basically tell you to take it or leave it. You will call them throughout the following day to get some idea when they might be by, since you work an hour away but they only give you 30 minutes of their arrival, and they will act like their techs' schedules are one of the great mysteries of the universe which can never be understood, much less predicted. It will drive you to tears in the hot summer heat. You will strongly consider paying someone else to come fix your AC rather than relying on the "free" service provided by Casa under your builder warranty, but you're a competitive type and don't want to let them win. You will swelter for many, many more hours before someone finally deigns to stop by your house and try to determine what's wrong.

TL;DR - Don't use Casa if you can help it, even if it's free.

I was given a window of time (8-12) when the Casa Mechanical plumber would show up. I finally got a call at 1:30 telling me he was on his way. I do not recommend Casa unless you don't mind waiting all day.

I hired CASA at the end of summer to identify an issue with my AC unit. The outside unit starts and stops for several times before it gets going. First visit they saw the problem and changed a circuit. Starting this summer we noticed that the problem continued and finally we called them again. CASA checked the unit and was not able to detect the problem, yet they charged again for a problem they were not able to fix. I'm not planning on using their services again.

I bought a brand new home in October and CASA has came out 4 times in the last 2 months to service my unit. They only PATCH things instead of finding the issue. If you call them once, you WILL be calling them again to come fix the SAME problem as many times as you let them. Now I'm on day 2 of no air in TX. My house was 81 at 6am this morning and they can't fix it until tomorrow.
