Truly appreciate Greg's clearing of my dryer vent, out there in the rain. He was timely, went through in detail as to the work he could do and those items he was not able to address (i.e., moving the dryer to address lint buildup at the source. He was very professional and the work was performed quickly and efficiently.
Really loved the recent experience i had with Carters at one of my rented properties. I was not able to attend and they had to work with my tenant directly the entire time.
for every appt i booked, they booked directly with my tenant and arrived exactly on time, along with that they sent text notifications and picture of the person arriving always. Once they completed the job always, they would call me while still at the property to give me updates as well.
In terms of price, i priced them out with another reputable company in the south bay and honestly they are all the same here. everything was so similar that i choose carters only because they made it easy for me.

This time our SubZero refrigerator ice maker wasn't working among other things, so I called and got a service appointment the next day which is awesome. Scott Davis was our repair person. Note -- they text you when they are coming and include a picture of the technician. Scott is very friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to explain what was happening and the repair/replacement parts needed. He conveys the information is a very understandable manner. The price of the repair including the parts and service call were very reasonable. The freezer and ice maker now work like a charm! Also had the preventative maintenance performed on the entire refrigerator/freezer unit. And at this time there is a discount because it's Carter's 50 year anniversary...unexpected and totally wonderful. We will definitely call Carter again when we have a repair need!
This team has never let us down. They are knowledgeable, efficient, reasonable and the communication on site and with the office is great. I particularly like that when they confirm their appointments the day of, that text includes the name and picture of the technician who will be coming to your door. It's very comforting and just one example of how much effort they put into customer relations.

I've had them repair fridge, and dishwasher issues. They do a variety of appliance repairs. Tony has been very helpful finding parts for special stove that is older. I would recommend them for appliance repair and they have responsive and good customer service. I have not used them for Hvac needs ever so I can only speak to kitchen item repairs but they have folks that know how to repair a variety of popular brands.
Our 6-year old KitchenAid French-door refrigerator started leaking at the bottom a year ago just outside of the Best Buy 5-year extended warranty. About a month ago, a second leak started to spread to the inside bottom of the refrigerator where the crisper drawers are. My experience with the Best Buy warranty folks was lukewarm so I called Carter Services based on user reviews. As others have said, they're great at communicating and keeping their customers updated as to when the tech will be out to troubleshoot. Isaac came out and was able to accurately diagnose the problem in 30 mins. A part was needed and it took a few days to arrive. We scheduled his next visit and he arrived during the agreed upon window. In about 2 hours, he disassembled the necessary parts of the frig, resolved the leaking which was due to a hose that needed to be replaced, and defrosted a drain hole at the inside bottom of the refrigerator which was frozen over so he had to melt the ice to allow proper drainage, reassembled everything, tested the water dispenser, calibrated the temps inside the freezer and frig, and was on his way. It was a lot of work, the part cost $50 and the overall cost was about $550 which in my opinion was money well spent for Issac's time and expertise. Issac and the team at Carter Services were professional and courteous and I'm happy to recommend them.
David L.Had some issues with our bathroom sink leaking. I called and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Jeremiah from Carter Services came out the same day with the time frame scheduled, even got a text message that he was on his way. He briefly diagnosed problem and gave me some options. The faucet was leaking and I agreed for him to change it. One of the water shut off valves wouldn't close completely before starting job so we shut off the main valve and he completed the job. Also had a leaking hose that needed to be changed and gave me an estimate to change valve and hose. I agreed and everything works very well. Great service and communication. We have used this company years ago. Thanks Jeremiah.
Peggy B.My oven was not lighting. Winson came out to change the igniter on my gas oven. Carter's has replaced this for me in the past. Winson informed me that the power amperage was not up to par and said to call an electrician to correct the power and then he would return to complete the repair. I have used Carter's Service for many repairs in the past.
