Have used Carter Services many times over the years. They just repaired our dryer. Alex Martinez was great. Hard worker. Nice guy.

Kent showed up on time, clean and friendly, checked my washer (which I ended up fixing myself but had not let run long enough to confirm the fix) and did not charge me. He worked on the dryer which is now running great, inspected our water heater for no charge, and charged a fair rate for the work performed. These are the same folks from Liberty Appliance and if you remember how appliance service used to be back in the day, these are those same solid folks.

Rodger was fabulous! On time, pleasant and very thorough. He is knowledgeable and after he serviced our tankless water heater another problem we were having in the shower was fixed. I will definitely use them again.

Have used Carter services for years and it's really hit or miss. A few days ago our water heater broke and was causing water damage to the house. I called on a Saturday and was quoted overtime rates, etc... but when the plumber called back the quote was over $1200 to replace the water heater. I asked the model and brand and the same one is at home depot for $298. I asked him what the other $900 was for when he told the job was about 2 hours (easy access and we already took the old one out for him...). He said it's a fixed rate made by his boss. I asked for a breakdown of the $900 and he got rude and defensive. I found a good plumber from Angies List after this and bought a much better water heater at Lowes. In the end we now have a high-end water heater of our choice (instead of the lowest quality one Carter's installs) and a new plumber. Only $300 for full installation labor and took away old heater. I'm sad Carter Services did not value me as a long term customer that has given them tons of work and many referrals.

They were great. They called me before to tell me they were on the way about 20 minutes or so before. They came early in the window too. James was very knowledgeable and took time to point out the problem and what I could do to help things in the long run. He fixed the problem with the dishwasher and went over and beyond. He also gave me tips for saving money in the long run/etc... to not have to many repairs. James was amazing and I would definitely recommend the services. A bit pricey but well worth it so far!

Robert was fantastic for plumbing in our home. He recently completed two jobs at our home and was incredibly professional, thorough and polite. We have used Carter's for years and have been very happy with their work. Highly recommended!

I have used Carter Svcs. multiple times over the years; the experience depends on the particular technician and this most recent time was good (Carlos); prior time before that was not as good. But they are my go-to people for appliance calls even though I think their prices are on the high side (and keep getting higher) because I figure they have a reputation to uphold and therefore they will stand by their work. I will continue using them in the future.

We have used Carter Services for past few years. We have always been happy with their services. The past few times we have had Jerry as our service man, and he is excellent, no nonsense guy and very knowledgeable. When I called yesterday I requested to have Jerry to come over, the secretary wrote it down, at the end she asked me if for some reason Jerry is not available, would it be o.k. to send another serviceman. I told her that if Jerry can not make it I will wait until he has an opening.
Sure enough, Jerry showed up today very promptly and took care of two issues that we had.
Again, I highly recommend Carter Services, and as a serviceman Jerry is my man!!

I didn't know much about Carter Appliance. When my new U-Line ice maker stopped working, I contacted the manufacturer. The service rep gave the name and number of Carter. Prior to calling Carter, I went to the website and discovered that they serviced appliances from a large number appliance corporations. Feeling comfortable enough to go forward, I made the call.
In brief, this is what happened: person answering the phone was personable, courteous and professional; the repairman was on time, efficient, knowledgeable, again personable and experienced, caring about his appearance, respect for the client and taking time to thoroughly investigate the issue (his keeping me in the loop throughout the waiting for the part to arrive was so appreciative) -- it was easy to tell he was personally invested in providing personal, yet a professional experience; and, having had such a wonderful experience, the owner of the company received a phone call from me, letting him know how appreciative I was of the interaction on the phone and in my home that I had experienced with his employees. He, too, was personable and easy to communicate with. A great team, Carter is now at the top of my list when appliance repairs are needed in my home. Thanks, Carter (and U-Line, as well)!
