The worst company I ever came across in my life and the only reason I came across this shit hole of a company is because Sears home warranty sent them, Sears home warranty another garbage company!!!!!!!!!!
Carson Plumbing dose not call back and won't answer your calls till they need work.
Save your money and your sanity!

This guy has no concept of timing or customer service. Was supposed to show up on Sunday. No word. Called him on Monday and came out. Broke the drain stopper in the tub and said he would have to come back...but not for two days and between 8&12. I called at 8:30 to find out timing and he said between 10&2 now and I sold him he would need to get here per our agreed upon time, 8-12. No word and it's now 2:30 and still no word! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

These people are crooks. Read all the other negative reviews. They're all accurate.
We had one instance where after Marc came out to fix the installation of our new garbage disposal, it mysteriously broke shortly after. When we called Marc to fix, he offered to do the job under the table and fix for cheaper if we went through him and not his company. This should of sounded major alarms with us, but it didn't. We hired them again.
The 2nd instance, we had a pipe leak under the house. Marc came out and didn't even crawl under the house to check. He told us we would need a restoration company out to oxidize the dirt under the broken pipe. He mentioned it would probably cost us around 2k from a company or he could do it on the side for around $500.
Sensing something fishy, we had two restoration companies come out to give us a quotes. They both said the same thing. We absolutely didn't need their services. Separately they both agreed that Carson pluming was trying to swindle us.
I reported Marc's suspect behavior to the warranty company and they sent out another plumber.
The new plumber confirmed that we did not need to oxidize the ground and fixed the pipe for way cheaper than what Carson was offering.
Do yourself a favor and hire a different company. How many negative reviews do you have to read to actually believe it? Marc and Carson are crooks.

Wow, I had an almost identical story to Jane R., on this feed below.
First Home Warranty gave us no choice and we were stuck with this company. I paid the deductible ahead of time thinking that this would expedite the process. WRONG.
Mark never answered his email or phone once (I had to *67 him to get a hold of him). 5 days past the requested start date he shows up to fix a pipe leak. He refused to look at the leak and said he was too busy to start that day. Mark also refused to give a start date saying he'd ""look at his calendar""
Mark is inconsiderate, lazy, and morally inept. Do not work with this company.

I can just copy and paste from other reviews of this terrible company. The only reason we went with Carson Plumbing is because they were assigned to us by First American Home Warranty. They're do-nothing time-servers who show up to get paid under the warranty agreement - that's it.
And yes, as others mentioned, they don't take off their shoes. They left dirty water on the bathroom floor and couldn't even be bothered to wipe their hands. Absolutely awful service from an awful company. Avoid them even if - especially if - they're assigned by your home warranty (which is also probably, like ours, a scam that covers and reimburses nothing).
It didn't occur to us to check who the warranty company was sending. Lesson learned: always check, evaluate, and verify every third-party referral.

We have had a problem with our water pressure since we moved in to our new place a month ago. It has been extremely painful to take showers because of the pressure, and the water wasn't staying hot very long. The problem was with the shower head (it was really old). I tried everything I could to take off the old shower head but it was rusted and stuck on there. Mark from Carson Plumbing came over today to take a look at it and he fixed the issue within 10 minutes. Mark was extremely friendly and professional. Thank you for helping us!

Carson plumbing was called to my house for water heater replacement by the home warranty company. He replaced but added $400 more in costs and blamed it on permits. It looked exactly the same as when he put the new one and he also put it slanted. What the heck?
I would have not called him with his reviews only be 2 stars. Ask for a different company.

The only reason we went with Carson Plumbing is because they were assigned to us by First American Home Warranty (which also sucks btw). Mark came and to be honest he was very patronizing and had threatening demeanor.
He added on hundreds more for a job that was supposed to be covered by warranty. Then I asked him to look at my sink and said it was a clog to be snaked and we found out it was something else, he took the $75 just to inspect the sink and did not fix the problem stating he did not have time. Also after he left I noticed a water leak in our sink. Sigh.
If you get assigned to this contractor I urge you to switch before its too late and if you ever hire these guys, just make sure they don't step all over you.
They also do not take off their shoes!

The plumber was sent to us by our home warranty company. He knew what the problem was with the water heater as we reported it on the information requested. When he arrived he looked at the problem and said yes, it is the T&P valve. Duh, we knew it as the water was leaking from it and that 's why we contacted the home warranty. Well, Mark did not have the part and said he will come back. Fast forward 2 days later, I had to call him to find out what was happening and this was after 4 days of no hot water in the bathroom. He made a report to the home warranty company that he has to modify the system that would cost $150 which is not covered on our policy. All we needed was the T/P valve replaced, we got the part from Home Depot for $14 and installed it ourselves. He called us several days later and ask if we want the job done and my husband told him not for $150. Mark then asked him ""how much are you willing to pay."" What a SCAM. We've had the water heater for 10 years and did not have the pipe that Mark wanted to add. We could go to Home Depot and attached the pipe ourselves, just an overflow part. We spent $75 co-pay for someone to tell us yeah it's the T/P valve which we already knew before hand. Do NOT use this unethical person trying to gouge unsuspecting people. Wish I could give him a minus rating.

I have been waiting all week for this plumber, assigned through my First American HOme warranty. Looks like another person has been waiting all day as well. Supposed to have been here between 9am and noon today. I have called many times and repeat the same information. My water has been turned off since dec 29th to keep water damage from happening. That is the day the leak began in my master bathroom.
What is real with this company? I am not sure.
