It took weeks for our claim through our home insurance to get resolved because this company took FOREVER to take care of the issue. When our water heater was ""fixed"", a month later we had a major issue and the plumbing company we called said that Carl and Sons had installed it incorrectly which cost us another $300 to get it re-installed and fixed property. I would definitely NOT recommend this company at all.

My plumber showed up when promised, wearing a mask. James was polite, clean, and had alternatives ready if needed to fix my problem. He fixed my shower so it would work until the special ordered part arrived. Once the part was in hand, final repairs were completed and my shower plumbing fixture looks brand new.

After having our water heater issue assessed by a large plumbing company in town, who quoted us between $1700-$4K, James simply reset it and adjusted for the altitude. A wonderful experience, honest guy, and it's a shame not all service providers are as fair as him. Well done.

We have used Carl's Sons Plumbing for many years now. Every job they have done from major to minor has been done right and with courtisey. James and John are the only plumbers I will use here in Big Bear. We just did a huge remodel project and I asked James to select, supply and install 2 new toilets. We could not be happier with his toilet choice and the installation. After the new countertops and sinks were installed in kitchen and both bathrooms John came over to replumb all three rooms and install 4 new Moen faucets. Great clean well thought out installation. You can't go wrong with Carl's Sons Plumbing & Heating.
