We have used Carl's Sons Plumbing for many years now. Every job they have done from major to minor has been done right and with courtisey. James and John are the only plumbers I will use here in Big Bear. We just did a huge remodel project and I asked James to select, supply and install 2 new toilets. We could not be happier with his toilet choice and the installation. After the new countertops and sinks were installed in kitchen and both bathrooms John came over to replumb all three rooms and install 4 new Moen faucets. Great clean well thought out installation. You can't go wrong with Carl's Sons Plumbing & Heating.

How often does one phone call save you $5525? I had trouble with the central heating unit and the water heater at my cabin. The first heating and plumbing company I called sent a guy who, after glancing at the problem for all of 30 seconds, told me that both units had to be replaced, and that it would cost over $5600. Luckily I called Carl's Son's heating and plumbing for a second opinion and they sent James to look at the problem. James correctly diagnosed the problem and 30 minutes later both the furnace and the water heater were working perfectly. His bill was $75! I saved over $5500! Thank you for your professionalism, your honesty and your good old fashioned willingness to get your hands dirty and do a proper job, James!

We had John from Carls and Sons out to fix 3 leaks in our home. He was courteous, knowledgeble, fast, here on the time set for us. We were very pleased with his service and will use them again. They also came out in our last snow storm in the middle of the night to fix a water leak at the stop waste valve. They are the ones that referred John to us. Very, very happy with his service.

We were assigned Carl's Son's Plumbing through our Home Warranty. Our main toilet had sprung a leak at it's base whenever we flushed.

Carl's Son's Plumbing called the next day to schedule an appointment. They do not make appointments on weekends, but since this was rather urgent, the lady made an emergency exception and scheduled an appointment for Saturday between 10am-12pm.

We waited anxiously the next day for our plumber to arrive. 12pm came around, and no plumber, so I called and left a message to see if they were running late. We got a call a little bit later from John. Apparently the appointment communication got crossed somewhere, so he didn't know there was an appointment with us that day. For this, 3 stars for the appointment lack of communication.

But John was GREAT! He came over right away, figured out the problem (busted flange), and fixed it all up. He was super thorough and explained the problem and how he was able to fix it. He even took the time to answer some of my random questions about a possible remodel some day. The toilet works properly again, as good as new, no water coming out the bottom, and John left the area nice and clean. He even replaced the old flapper! Super friendly and knows his stuff. 5+ stars to John!

Carl's Son's Plumbing takes credit cards (except American Express), checks, or cash. And John knew the exact price of the trade fee for my Home Warranty - no upcharge or trickery. I would highly recommend Carl's Son's Plumbing for your plumbing needs.
