I had mini split heating & air units installed in my home recently by the great, family owned, local business, Carini Heating, Air and Plumbing.
I had done some research over the years and chose them as the best option. Finally, I had the time and resources to get the job done and could not be happier with all phases of the process. Jason, Jesse, Anthony, the installation engineer and their install crew did an impeccable, professional job, start to finish and great customer service ever since. Our family, including the dog and cat, are thoroughly enjoying the Mitsubishi system that keeps our home at a perfect temperature; economically, quietly and efficiently. Thank you Team Carini

These guys installed 5 mini splits at my place a few weeks ago and we could not be happier. Jason, the sale rep was very polite and got us a really good price that other competitors could not beat for everything that was being offered. Additionally, the install team led by Haik was very professional, very respectful of my belongings and property when working around my place, and even took caution without prompting to be quiet when my baby was taking her nap. This company works hard for their reputation and you should check them out if you are in the market.

My first yelp review but I thought it was warranted. I can not speak highly enough of Carini Heating, Air and Plumbing. I have been meaning to have mini-splits installed in my residence for awhile now. I contacted several different companies and eventually decided on Carini. Jake with Carini came to my home and listened to my needs and provided an assesment of what would work best for my house. He sat down and provided options and quotes on the spot. The project started on time and much quicker than I had imagined when I had originally decided to have the mini-splits installed. As with all projects there are bound to be hiccups in the plan. What impressed me the most is these hiccups were addressed head on by Jake. Jake kept me fully informed every step of the way. The mark of a good company is communication with the customer, whether its good or bad. Keeping the customer informed is paramount and Jake did not disappoint . Now the hiccups I mentioned had nothing to do with Carini but with the idiosyncrasies of my house. I couldnt be happier with my new mini-splits or with my interactions with Carini and all of their employes. A special shout out to Kevin, Ollie, Tim, Ross and Jesse, you are the ones that determine the success or failure of a company, keep up the great work. I do not have any insight on the plumbing side of their business but I know who I am calling when and if I need those services.

Gabe Carini and crew worked with us last year to install the Mitsubishi mini splits air conditioning and heating system throughout our house. Gabe and John Bodkin took a personal interest in making sure that our system was designed and installed as efficiently a possible. The whole installation crew were the best professionals that anyone could have asked for. We have also used their plumbing service and they too were as expert as they come. We couldn't be more satisfied.

Called about service on my Goodman and setup time and appt after asking if they serviced Julian. She gave me the date and then said oh Julian. We I don't think we service there. I thought you said Jamul. Not helpful.

We needed a new HVAC system and had 5 companies give a proposal. We chose Carini for several reasons. Their sales consultant used to be an installer-he was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and what didn't. He was responsive to our questions and did not bad mouth his competition. The installation techs were professional and courteous and kept a messy job clean! The first day I came home from work, I thought they didn't come because the house didn't have one piece of insulation on the ground and they had demo'd the entire attic heater and 11 runs that day. Finally their price was transparent and fair. They didn't start at 50% more than the market and require us to negotiate down from there. We're very happy with the units, workmanship and company.

It really irritates me when companies advertise special offers then pull the bait and switch. Carini is running ads all over local TV stations with an offer to clear any drain for $35 dollars. The ad shows a technician with an industrial laptop open displaying an image of a cleared drain from a drain / pipe camera in an outdoor patio area.

Guess what? Outdoor drains are $79. To me, this is very misleading. If the special covers indoor drains for $35, then they should have done the commercial in a bathroom or kitchen.

In smaller print it does state Some Restrictions Apply but I think this is misleading.

Amazing company! Had a issue with my thermostat, I blew a fuse trying to install a Nest and called them hoping for a same day appointment and boom! Wish granted. Joe the tech was awesome! Super informative and overall gave us the comfort and peace of mind we needed. Awesome company with Professional technicians that are know the quintessential company for any and all plumbing, heating and cooling need of this family. Wish I could give them 7 stars. I mean the quickest home fix I have ever had. Amazing service and meticulous work done by Joe today. Thankful to have found this company online.

We used Carini to repair a split air conditioning unit. The came out and said they'd fixed it but the heating never moved up more than a few degrees as did the air-conditioning. They were inconsistent in the arrival to service it again, which caused the tenant to wait for over 6 hours and told it would be even later. We decided to try a different company. They came out and realized that Carini had installed the circuit bracket and had not adjusted it properly. It cost us another $1000 for the services that Carini should have completed when the did the installation. We will never use them again.

Had to downgrade my earlier 5 star review. Carini obtained the city installation permit for our system, however, a city inspector failed the install. That was some weeks ago. Have written to Mitsubishi to see if our 12 year warranty covers repairs so the system will pass a re-inspection.
