I couldn't recommend this place enough. Not only did they come out the same day. But Carlos the technician that was sent out was super friendly and did a great job. He really went above and beyond to make the experience exceptional. He provided a quick and efficient service and also provided exceptional value that you won't find anywhere else. Our heater went out during our cold spell. Carini came out right away and installed it the very next day at a reasonable price. The installers were here on time, installed it and tested it before they left. They will be handling all of our heating and air conditioning issues from now on.

What a pleasure to do business with a competent and reliable business. I initially met with Anthony who planned my conversion to a split AC system. The units were photoshopped onto the pictures he took of my rooms. The crew was on time and so efficient they finished a two day job in one day. They were personable, respectful and returned items to their original place. I have already recommended Carini to a relative.
The reviews and website were informative. I was impressed with Carini's level of community involvement as well. Their many 5 star reviews are well deserved.

Just received incredible, top-notch service from Carlos! We've had Carini create and work our HVAC+ for the last few years and I cannot say enough good things about them. Quality products and equipment that lasts, and their customer service is fantastic. Every one is so kind and respectful.

Big shout out to Carlos coming in and fixing our AC today. Not only did he fix it smoothly, he kindly explained to me what was going on and what steps I can take in the future. He was so polite and just great vibes. You can truly feel comforted when you have Carini workers in your home. I highly recommend Carini and thank you Carlos!

The company is right -- my earlier review does not reflect the overall quality of the company. The service turned out fine, though it finished very late at night. Our misunderstanding of how the scheduling works was not explained by the person answering the phone. If I could have been told I was guaranteed at least a 45 minute warning for example, so I could return home from work in time, then I could have had a regular workday. Having to call in the morning to get any word about possible timing is problematic, though, since it is unclear whether to make the drive into work or not.

I bought a mini split system in 2018 and the experience has been up and down but overall happy with the Mitsubishi system. Might have been happy going through another company

1. I was concerned about the location of the condenser install because it was under a deck and dogs hung out on the deck causing dog fur. I was reassured it would be fine but years later, I find it is not fine.

2. I had 2 no shows for service appointments and the appointment times are not convenient for a person that works at their job on-site. Last no show was Mar 2022

3. When expressing my frustrations to the manager, Debbie, she told me it was me and the rest of her customers are completely happy. She later apologized (and I truly believe she meant the apology), not knowing my last no show was in Mar 2022. I take time of work for these appt because they are only available 8 to 4 Monday through Friday. This is causing me to be in a bad place at work and losing money.

4. My last cleaning costing $750 ended up in more leaking and my blinds getting ruined twice because it leaked again after the initial fix...next time I won't replace my soaked blinds right away. The repair tech did awesome and explained everything. It was a little miss that had more to do with the location of the condenser.

Overall, I have my warranty with this company so nothing I can do and I am hoping things turn around. I hesitated to write a review and I gave many chances. As of today my system is working and not leaking so that is great.

I had used Carini a few years ago apx 2019 for a complete furnace and blower replacement in my attic at a previous home. They performed a quick, efficient repair at a reasonable price. Something that stood out was the sales representative Carlos who said that Carini prides themselves as much on customer service and follow up as they do the original installation/repair. He added that Mr Carini himself is local to SD and prides himself on customer service. I used Carini a second time this year 2022 recently in my new home to add a first time Central Air HVAC system in my older home. The process was smooth, the bid was fair, and the preparation was thorough. The job started and completed on time within a week. Unfortunately I was waiting on power upgrades before I could use my HVAC. Carini's portion was completed yet after my new main service panel was needed to be installed we ran into a small issue with the HVAC installation, specifically where the Condensor was located. Carini made it right quickly with minimal interruption to my electician's very lean timeline, came back to my home to relocate the unit within a couple of days. I would absolutely recommend this local company to anyone needing repair, installation of a mini split or completely new HVAC. Specially when working with Carlos (Sales) and Britan (supervisor).
