I always get three bids for the very best quality air conditioning unit and the best installation practices. Carini Heating and Air Conditioning was 35% HIGHER than the next lowest bid. Their excuse for price was ""we match our prices to Bill Howe and to the ""White Glove Guys"" who run expensive television advertising, only we don't have to advertise"". Guess what, even Bill Howe was lower in price. Gave them 2 stars instead of 1 star because the delivered a big load of B. S. without laughing at me! The owner clearly doesn't remember me. My salesman's cat is named Marley, and the quote was made in August (sounded like a great cat)!

In all fairness, I did not use Cabrini so they never had a chance to have won me over with service and product. Keep in mind, many negative reviews are from a first impression which may or may not be deserved and from those of us who never hired the company. First impressions are so very important!!

Our AC wasn't working properly and Bowen came to the rescue. It was a warm Friday afternoon with the possibility of spending a hot weekend without AC but Bowen adjusted his plans and saved the day!! Thanks so much to the guys at Carini and especially Bowen for taking the time and making sure we were taken care of. That's the mark of a great company! My highest recommendation for Carini!!

Absolutely impressed!

My Wife and I had over 15 companies place bids for our home. That may sound ludicrous, but trust me it was well worth the work to find Carini Heating and Air Conditioning. Gabriel ( owner ) came out and went over all our options. Because our home has a flat roof, limited space and coved ceilings, a ducted mini split system was required and Gabriel knew exactly what was needed. In addition, we wanted to keep the look and feel of our University Heights Spanish1926 home which is not easy.

Most companies had no idea how to quote out our home and give us an accurate and feasible option. Then walks in Gabriel, I immediately felt comfortable and could see his expertise in action, asking questions the other 14 companies had not even considered. Instantly it was a match, Gabriel quoted out a perfect system for our home: efficient, quite and best of all hidden!

I can wholeheartedly recommend Gabriel and Carini Heating and Air Conditioning. I have and will continue to give my personal recommendation to friends and family. If you are in the market for an Air Conditioning unit or need repairs save yourself the time and energy from meeting with other companies and give Carini Heating and Air Conditioning a call. Just thank me for doing all the hard work for you and enjoy the outstanding service.

Its extremely rare to find such a honest, earnest and sincere company. Its easy to see why Carini Heating and Air Conditioning has such a high rating on so many of the review sites.

My company ""The Certified Group"" is currently renovating a property to sell and we were having issues with the AC. We called a few places and after having one reputable company come out and tell us the job would be $2000 to fix we decided to get a couple more quotes. Carini Heating and Air Conditioning was referred to us by a property management company and we were pleased to find that their service charge was less than most and goes towards the job if we choose to use them. They were very professional and timely. Unlike the other company they aren't out to scam or upsell their clients. Turns out the AC had a bad breaker and that was it. Total job turned out to be $214 compared to the original quote from a different company at $2000. Thank you Carini Heating and Air Conditioning for being a quality company that looks out for the best interest of your client. We had the pleasure of having Carini Heating and Air Conditioning work on our AC. We had some asbestos that needed to be removed and ducting work that was old and needed to be replaced. After we called them, they came out quickly and gave us an estimate. We decided to have them do the work and the hazardous material team came out and removed the asbestos. Then the Carini office called and reconfirmed the time they were going to come. They showed up on time and worked the entire day on the ducting. The workers were pleasant, very careful and did an amazing job. It took the whole day to do the work and they stayed until everything was complete and done to our satisfaction. They explained the work to us along the way. We were so very pleased with the work that was done. We are looking forward to using our AC on one of our HOT days.

Carini Heating and Air Conditioning installed air conditioning, including a compressor unit, refrigeration and electrical lines and retrofit of our existing recently upgraded furnace in our 1950s ranch home.

Anthony was our Design Specialist and he spent a few hours measuring and performing heat calculations, etc to design a system which perfectly met our needs.

There were a few minor issues with the installation and Gabe, the owner of Carini, and Anthony came out and took care of everything themselves. Talk about above and beyond! When they were finished, the installation was perfect.

A few months after the install when this warm weather hit, there were some balance issues and Anthony came out, worked his magic, and now all rooms are the same temperature.

We could not be happier with our air conditioning installation. I believe Carini when they say they want happy, satisfied customers.

I would not hesitate to recommend Carini Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone with HVAC concerns. I trust them and that is a lot to say nowadays. Anthony was terrific and patient from start to finish.

This is a follow up review. I had a very nice, top end, HVAC system installed by Gabe and Co. about 3 years ago. Last night, I came home to a house that was 86 degrees inside and the AC was blowing room temperature air. I am very heat intolerant (and cranky about it). I called, they were booked out 4-5 days, I explained the situation and they fit me in TODAY.

Bowen is smart, low key and doesn't mind questions. Gabe hires great guys to work for him.

Turns out that my coolant (R410) was almost empty and it is likely a leak that has been there for a long time. Bowen recharged the unit as a temporary fix and will set up a time to do a formal inspection, definitively identify the issue and address it. I got home from work tonight, to a very cool, 74 degree home. Yeah.

I am very happy and they are ultra-professional. I couldn't say more about these guys.

Checked around with friends and customers from my business and found that we kept hearing Carini with only positive things said- most of the other suggestions were for companies not to go with :) WSo, we had the Carini team work on our place in La Mesa when the A/C stopped working last month. There was a bad part, a TXV something or other, that went bad. The office called back soon with a reasonable quote so we had the work done.
Here's where the 5 out of 5 stars deserved comes in!
About an hour after the service guy came and did the installation, the air blowing stopped being cold. MAJOR BUMMER, right?!
Nope, he came back out the next day and found the part to be faulty. About that time I expected it to get hairy, but the office called and said that the part would be replaced again at no charge and that the time would be billed to the manufacturer or eaten.
WOW! I couldn't believe a company wouldn't try to charge me....
Anyhow, air blows freezing now!
Overall awesome experience. They were always on time, great with scheduling, polite, etc. Overall an efficient team with great service! Cheers!

My husband and I bought a house in Mount Helix about a year ago and everything was great until we started using the A/C. So, it worked, then it didn't.....
When we found the stack of A/C receipts from the previous owner, we were bummed to see that there had seemed to be a problem every 6 months or so for the last umpteen years.
When my husband asked around at the HVAC supply house by his work recommended Carini. When I asked my co-worker, she recommended Carini. So, you guessed it.... we called Carini.
From jump, the receptionist was great and scheduled us just 2 or 3 days out. When the service man got to the house (Bowen), he was polite and quick to get to work. He seemed not to be bothered by husband hovering and asking a million questions while he was diagnosing the problem. In 10 minutes or less he spotted a leak that had started a looooong time ago judging from the rust trailing on whatever the thing was. He then explained that he could smell the coolant had some sort of additive put into the system sometime in the past. And that the air stopped blowing cold because something in the coolant clogged some valve that controls everything. We were beginning to see the nightmare we were facing....
Then, he said he could get the big part and the valve in a few days and that we'd hear from the office to get rescheduled.
Well, the office called a few days later, he came out and installed the parts and voila!
Quick turnaround, reasonable prices, excellent service.... what more could you ask for from any company!?!?!?!

Thank you Carini Heating and Air for a great experience installing our new AC system during the recent heat wave we had. We called 3 companies for estimates and went with Carini because they gave the most complete estimate and came up with some solutions that the others didn't suggest. The whole crew was very professional, clean and they finished the job right on schedule. Jason and his crew were very helpful and courteous during the whole time they were here and even helped to move some heavy boxes into the attic for us.
