I had twice the opportunity to interact with Paul and none of them were pleasant.
While they say they are available on week-ends, he did not returned my call until the following Monday, showed 1.5 hours late to his appointment and presented me with a quote for $1,200 in labor for warranty work and upgrade on a Noritz water heater. I told I him didn't want the extras he recommended and he was very unhappy with my answer. I just wanted him to replace the defective part under warranty not anything else. He agreed to do it for $275. We ordered the part. When I got the part, I called him at 7:30am and left a voice mail. He never returned the call. I called again at 5:30pm that day and spoke to him. He told me he wouldn't be able to come until the following Monday, today.
He showed up on time and asked me to signed a release of liability for the work he was about to do, meaning he would not accept to take any responsibility for his own work, would not guaranty the water heater would work after the part was replaced, or for the damages he could do in my house while working there. I found this unacceptable and unprofessional. Remember I paid $100 for his first visit and his professional diagnostic of the issues.
He said, I quote "" I will not have take any liability for $275"".
I refused to sign his document and send him away ... It's got to be Paul's way or the highway.

We have used Care One's service for a variety of issues, from toilet trouble to garbage disposal replacement. Each time, they have been informative, prompt, courteous and professional. The prices are very fair, usually less expensive than other companies. We will continue to use their service any time it is needed!

I meet Paul at my work, I was visting my aunt recently and suggested we call to have him check her bath tub drainage problem. He got there when he said he would, he check problem from inside and out like he said he would, he offered affordable options along side a costly repair. I appreciated that he was professional and nice at the same time with my aunt. Thank you.

Like many of you, I was on the hunt for a great and affordable plumber, not to fix a dripping faucet, but to replace a faulty wall furnace at my parent's house. These gas fired units often times take a back seat to the complex HVAC and heat pumps seen in modern houses. It was difficult to just locate a contractor that knew how to install one of these units. Enter Paul from Care One Plumbing.
I was referred to Paul through recommendations from friends and web sites like Yelp. When we first spoke, he immediately knew the type of wall furnace I needed and walked me through selecting the right unit and the installation process. A few days later Paul came by the house and provided a free detailed estimate for the furnace, labor, and materials. On installation day, Paul and Sergio arrived promptly and immediately got to work. As is the norm with home improvement projects, an unforeseen problem quickly developed. Paul quickly developed a solution and effectively communicated what needed to happen to my Mom and I. The problem was quickly solved and the remainder of the installation went like clockwork. Paul was very professional, courteous, and just a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend him and the folks at CareOne to complete your next plumbing (or heating) project!

I wish I had read the bad review below about the waterheater before calling this company.
When I first called, the guy was rude (very rude) but I figured it was Thursday evening and he was probably tired and a little grumpy. When he got to my home the following Saturday morning, he tried to waaaaaay over charge me to install a new sink (because I am a woman - we all know how that is. It happens but oh well). I asked him if he was crazy trying to charge that price and that I saw the last plumber put in the faucet and it wasn't that difficult... His response was ""Well, we're a small business so we add a little more on the price and everyone charges a little something extra on the equipment too. Then said he has to make more money because the economy had been bad - all while he had this used car salesman look on his face as he fumbled over his ""used car salesman"" words. He knew I was surprised by what he charged. I let it go and said to myself I would never call him again after the faucet was replaced and I would call someone else the next week to finish the other work.
I forgot to mention, he replaced a new faucet in the kitchen that had a sprayer that was leaking a little water. It was barely 6-months old but was really nice. It was one of the hook neck chrome sinks (shaped like a upside down capital J) and was in good condition (minus the leaky sprayer) which probably needed a cheap part to repair. - Your mouths would fall open if you knew what the new faucet looked like. I'm too embarrassed to say what he charged and what he used as the replacement.
Well, after charging me an excessive amount for the faucet repair, there were a few other items I also wanted him to look at but after the quotes he provided, I just wanted him and his side-kick gone.
After all this, and to make a long story short, when they did end up leaving, my new J neck faucet disappeard with them for a resale I'm sure. I just got beat all the way around. I'm too embarrassed to tell you what they charged me though. One person below said the were ""a bit overpriced"" - that's a far stretch. Oh, that reviewers name is Mark... he's a man.
Women and other Yelpers... Like Double J mentioned below.... You all have been warned!

Recommended Care One to my mother inlaw, and this is what she said. "" He came and fixed my leak and I could tell he is very honest did not try to overfix things, his price was fair to"". Well they did it again 5 stars, thanks Care One Plumbing.

Service was great. Easy to call and arrange for service. They were late for their service call but they did contact me to push things back. Also a bit overpriced but they finished the work quickly and to my satisfaction.

I scheduled an appointment to replace a garbage disposer a week in advance. On the day of my service call, no one showed up or called. I called after waiting over an hour and was told they would have to reschedule due to an unexpected delay. I'm not really happy given the fact that my service call was scheduled a week ahead of time, no one bothered to call regarding the delay, and that I wasted a good part of my afternoon waiting for nothing. I used this company before for another job and was satisfied but if this is how they treat repeat customers I don't think I'd give them my business again.
After rescheduling the work was completed as expected so I've revised my review. I can't go above 3 stars due to the no show but I have no issues with the quality of the work (fine). My complaint is regarding not showing up or calling. I rarely have to call a plumber for service so if I do, I expect them to be there or to let me know they can't.

Very professional and very reasonably priced. Care One Plumbing responded very quickly when we needed our main line replaced. The job they did was very ""clean"" and very efficient. I would definitely recommend Care One to anyone in need of a good plumbing service.

I have used Care One Plumbing a few times already. They have replaced my old, leaking water heater located in my garage, they have replaced my downstairs toilet after my new wood floors were installed, and they cleared a drain pipe when my disposal would not drain anymore.
Paul and his crew have never failed me during my emergencies. Care one is fast, reliable and efficient. Their work is top notch, true professionals in their craft. Care One gets it right the first time, which I appreciate because of my hectic schedule. I have recommended them to family and friends and we all felt the same way about their services.
Thank you guys so much!!!! Keep up the great work!!
