Captain Rooter (Will) came out on a home warranty. They are professional, communication is excellent, service is excellent and they are on time.
We had out hot water heater replaced and new unit installed. There was no mess at all left behind. This is the second time they have come to our home for service.
You will not be disappointed with Capital Rooter. Don't look any further call them now. I will only use them moving forward.

I had hired Captain Rooter to replace all the plumbing under our house. We loved the price, Wil and his secretary. Work was completed in a very timely manner and I was thrilled. BUT there were some things that needed to be ""tweeked"" a little and he did send a gentleman over to fix the problem but of course when the guy left we realized that the problem had not been resolved and to get Captain Rooter out to fully complete the work is beginning to be a thorn in my side

Avoid at all cost! Will, who is apparently the owner, took advantage of my Elderly Mother by charging her for doing nothing and proceeded to replaced my kitchen sink Chrome P-trap with cheap plastic and took my chrome one with him. Too bad that wasn't what the problem is. The issue was simple house smelled like a Porto Potty rotting in the sun. I had removed the Disposal and P-trap only to discover that they were spotless, clean as can be. On replacement however I discovered that the PVC down-pipe thought the floor was just hanging there broken under the house. This is what he should have fixed but was not bright enough to figure it out. I am not a plumber but this was just completely obvious! You can stick your head in the floor opening turn on the water and hear it flooding under the house. I wouldn't let this guy near my house. Will if your reading this I want my chrome P-trap back.

I had my kitchen completely remodeled. The contractors who put in the cabinets and the countertops wanted a fortune to update the plumbing and install the fixtures. Captain Rooter to the rescue! Will rerouted my washer and dryer to another location, put in a waterline for my new water/ice maker refrigerator, installed my sink, faucet and garbage disposal and created (tapped into?) a gas line for my gas stove.

Will's work was professional, quick and accurate. Plus, he didn't try to get me to pay more or get things done that weren't needed--no pressure. We plan to work on our bathrooms next. I'll definitely call Captain Rooter to replace my toilets and faucets.

Doesn't get any better than Will. It was a great experience working with Will! He is professional, honest and a pleasure to deal with, someone you can trust.

I called Will and he called me back almost immediately. After a quick assessment, he told me that the problem was minor and the fix was relatively straightforward. To save money, he even encouraged me to do it myself and he gave me the name of the part, right down to the brand name, to buy and advice on how to do the job. Nevertheless, I still insisted on Will doing the job, because I wanted it done right. Will went right to work and fixed the problem.

Overall - great service and professionalism. I'm definitely calling Will for all my plumbing issues and I'm referring him to all my friends. If you need a plumber, you should do the same! I'm telling you, you won't be disappointed.

Fast response, reliably on time, honest work.
Will has done 3 jobs for me:
* cleared slow kitchen drain (replaced connector pipe for free, even though it functioned, but likely to clog again)
* checked condition of garbage disposal after previous plumber said I needed to replace it (it was in working order; previous guy failed to loosen nut to get it functioning again)
* cleared slow shower drain

Shop is locally owned here in Oakland. It's a small family operation, so you are most likely to get the owner actually doing the work (until he expands and hires another plumber).

What a relief to receive kind, professional, timely service. Will responded to my service call within 24 hours and completed the job within 2 hours, keeping me posted along the way.

I called Captain Rooter after receiving service that I just knew wasn't right. I had been dealing with a leak that I was told by another company ""would require extensive repairs, beginning with cutting through the bathroom tiles."" I don't know anything about plumbing but I followed my instincts and called Captain Rooter for a second opinion and I am so glad I did.

My day went from one of stress and feeling distrustful to one of content with my problem solved! Now I just have to find an auto mechanic that I can trust as much as Captain Rooter - needless to say I will be calling on them FIRST for all of my future plumbing needs!

Needed a faucet and toilet flush repaired. Very simple jobs. Will came 2 hours late. Did not understand how to repair the either. Took pictures of both.....and simply left. Never heard back from him.....

We just had a great experience with Will and I recommend him highly. We had a drainage issue in the kitchen and water heater problems on a new house. Will was thoughtful, professional, diligent, knowledgable and even kind. He fixed both issues, had a creative solution on some additional longer term work that we already knew needs to be done, and he was patient and a good communicator on talking through our options.
