We have used Cappello Plumbing for many of our issues in our own home as well as friends and family. They are a very reliable and trustworthy company with a lot of experience. They are very neat with their work and would call them any day.

Last Monday we had Cappello Plumbing fix a leaky shower valve in our master bedroom bathroom. A plumber showed up with a young kid apprentice. They were fast, professional and budget friendly.

We have been missing my wife's engagement of 30 years and an heirloom ring from the Middle East that her dad bought in the '50s since they left.

Facts:

Rings were in a little dish on my wife's armoire, right by the bedroom door.
Rings were discovered missing the next morning when my wife went to put them on and leave for work. Of course, we have looked, and continue to look, everywhere.
Only the apprentice was alone in the bedroom when packing up, while the main plumber was out at the truck making out the receipt.

The owner responded right away and came over to talk to us, asked all the normal and obvious questions. Could they be misplaced? Anybody else have them? And so forth. All of his responses were only supportive of his crew; one is a long-time employee and friend, the apprentice was hired from internet and had been with him for two weeks.

Through several conversations over the next few days, Jordan Cappello used the phrases ""open mind"" and ""benefit of doubt"" over and over again, even blurting at me that I was ""biased."" Not once did he use those phrases to our benefit, never saying anything like ""You seem like honest, reliable people, maybe you're right.""

He did set a tricky little trap for the apprentice that didn't work, and brought him to talk to me and my wife. Of course, the apprentance denied it.

That wasn't the end. I asked Jordan to give my number to the apprentice and have him call me. Surprisingly, he did. I told him I knew he took the rings, that we only wanted them back, and since they meant more to us than anybody else, we would pay more than he could get elsewhere. He responded ""Yes, sir,"" and we hung up.

Interestingly, the call came in restricted, which was fine. I checked my call log and the number was restricted, but a caller was Identified: Jordan Cappello. I texted this information to Jordan with big ??? marks, His answer was ""He does not have a phone of mine,"" so I repeated the caller ID information. He wanted me to call him the next day; I didn't, and haven't heard from him. I still don't have an answer to why did the caller ID was ""Jordan Cappello,"" and did that last interference prevent us from recovering our rings?


I WOULD ADD:
When speaking with Jordan myself, he questioned if there was anywhere else I could have put my rings, and there is not. My habit is to remove my rings before bed, placing them in the dish, putting them on again the next morning before leaving for work. Had I not been home sick on Monday, I would have been wearing them. I'm certain I wore them while out on Sunday and that I put them in the dish that evening. My husband purchased the wedding ring 30 years ago, and my mother gave me her ring upon her death in 1987. Women do not leave their wedding ring and/or family heirloom jewelry laying around here or there.

Our water heater pilot light failed on Christmas night I found Cappello on yelp and called them the next day in the early morning. Troy the plumber arrived by 10:30 am and in an hours time had replaced the pilot light assembly and cleaned the burner assembly. He was very pleasant to deal with and even cleaned up the water heater closet floor that had debris left from the water heater install four years earlier. I would absolutely recommend this company and Troy to anyone with plumbing issues. The are honest and do great work.

After multiple visits from plumbers, leak detection and mold remediation companies with no certain source of an apparent issue, Jordan immediately identifed and remediated the slow leak occurring from an elbow connection to a pipe behind a wall. He also identified several other smaller issues and addressed them during this one visit and saved me a lot of time and money. So impressed with his level of professionalism and honesty so I went ahead and requested another quote from him for a long overdue replacement of a water heater. Will definitely be contacting him for all future projects and referring his business to family and friends.

We have used Jordan Cappello Plumbing twice in the last month to help us with upgrading the plumbing and installation of new fixtures in two bathrooms during a remodeling project.

Jordan and his team installed a pedestal sink complete with a new faucet, cleared two drains, installed a cast iron bathtub, replaced both the shower and tub drains, removed galvanized plumbing and replaced with high quality copper throughout all at a fair price. We will definitely call him back to install the sink and tub fixtures once the tile setting is complete.

It was easy to make an appointment with Jordan as someone courteously answers the phone and he calls you right back. He even gives the customer his cell phone number and you can communicate with him directly.

He worked all day alongside two of his workers making sure the job was done right, even taking it upon themselves to repair plumbing blunders another plumber had made! They added much needed reinforcement under sagging shower floorboards in preparation for the hot mop just because they saw it needed to be done.

They were careful to protect my floors and work around a mid-century, built-in vanity we wanted to keep. They were knowledgeable, neat, polite, respectful, and most of all thorough. We are very happy we called Jordan Cappello Plumbing and will certainly call him back again!

We had a water main leak and decided to replace the line from the curb to the house with copper. Jordan sent Beto and Tony promptly over at 7:30am to trench the grass and dirt onto tarps. Upon digging, they discovered that the gas line to the house was ALSO leaking and so we decided to have that replaced as well--since the trench was already dug. Jordan sent Troy over to help with the extra line installation and the three of them were able to complete the job before 4pm! The work was professionally done and the crew was super polite, knowledgeable and tidy! I'll definately recommend to all my friends, family and neighbors! Thank you guys for your excellent service!!
