Love this guy! Mark came out to detect a leak in my money pit of a house. Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Properly identified the location of the leak and had an attack plan at the ready! They solved my problem fairly and quickly. I highly recommend calling Cape Plumbing for all plumbing services.

This is a great place! the dispatcher could not have been nicer!!; nice Irish fellow. he led me to Michael who did a great job of installing my already bought toilet for less than two hundred bucks. he went above and beyond the Call of Duty and he promised to come back and help me if I have any issues. so I highly recommend this place and Michael!!!!!

I called the Broward area number (954)260-5352 requesting a leak detection test. When I spoke with the plumber on the phone, he wanted to charge me $275 for a simple leak detection. Apparently he didn't know what he was advertising on his website nor did he know what I was talking about. This is what his website said about leak detection. """"With the advancements in leak detection technology we can now locate plumbing leaks electronically. This mean we locate most leaks within an hour of showing up to most appointments and because the process is less involved than it used to be we usually charge $99-$149 for most simple leak locations."""" -Link: http://www.capeplumbinginc.com/leak-detection-fort-lauderdale/ After reading it back to him he started to get irritated, loud, and very unprofessional. I don't plan on doing business with a company that practices false advertising and that shows such lack of professionalism.

Great company. Spoke to George who set up the appointment and Bo (Robert) showed up to do the service. After a thorough search he found there really wasn't a problem with the plumbing but the seal around my shower and charged a minimal fee for the service call. His previous appointment was in Miami and I am in Lake Worth so the trip alone was worth more than what he charged for the service call. If you want honest plumbers, call Cape Plumbing.

We just moved into our home in Ft. Lauderdale on Friday. Friday evening a toilet was leaking and we shut off the valve. Neighbors recommended Cape Plumbing and we called (as former NYers we did not expect anyone to answer the phone). We spoke with George and he scheduled us for the same day between 3-5 pm ( not possible!). Robert Ratliff called twice with updates from the road ( no way, we said).. He was a total professional plumber with a personality to match. He repaired the leak and we wanted him to move in with us but he gently rejected the offer.

Feb 2016 Review I called a couple plumbers could not even get a phone call back. When I called Steve from Cape Plumbing he was very honest and straight forward with the pricing and time. We scheduled service and within 48 hours water heater was replaced. I have to compliment Mat on the work done, he was very courteous and explained everything well. Nice job guys and I highly recommend them. July 2016 I was working on remodeling my garage on Saturday and decided I could not install my utility sink without some modifications, so I decided to call Cape Plumbing who I used in the past. I called about noon and was but expecting them to be out for a couple days because it was a Saturday, but they send someone out right away. The technician that came out was up front on the cost and everything was included (including a couple extra parts). He was quick, efficient and tested everything before he left. It was a little more than I expected but it was worth it. This is the second time I used them and I highly recommend them. I will be using them when I remodel the bathroom later this year.

Cape Plumbing has high ratings on A's List but buyer beware. I recently called them to clear a clogged kitchen sink. They sent a guy who looked like he was 14 years old. He snaked pipes once and then had to come back out to snake again because nothing had changed. He then said I needed to put special camera down the pipes b/c it was probably broken pipes under the house. He was charging additional $175 for this service. No other options were offered to me. I called the owner George and asked him to send me an """"experienced"""" plumber to troubleshoot the problem. He refused and left me with clogged sink and loss of $150. I called another company and a plumber with 30 years experience from A's list came to look at the problem. He snaked and then flushed the lines with air to clear any soft materials that could cause the drain to clog. Problem was resolved with the jetting of the line. I had to pay this plumber again to do the job that Cape Plumbing was not willing to do. I called owner George back and he said he was sorry that his guy could not fix the problem. He claims that his guy offered to jet the line which is not true or I would not be writing this review. Why would you """"offer"""" to jet the line. Why wouldn't you """"just do it"""". Probably b/c he was going to charge extra $$$. The experienced plumber who fixed my problem did not offer to jet the line. It was part of the troubleshooting to find the problem. If you hire this company and they send a teenager to do the work, run ...don't walk to your nearest experienced plumber. This company did not care that I had to call someone else and pay more money to do what they were not able to do. Not sure how they have highest plumber ratings on A's List. Thanks George, losing $150 was worth it to know never to call you again and next time I will call a company that takes responsibility for the mistakes of their employees
