Recommended Customer Reviews

They are responsive via calls and texts, on time (even arrived early), and really competitive and fair pricing. Polite to boot - oh and there is a 3 year warrantly on their labor. Highly recommended.

My favorite plumbers by far, they have always fit me into their schedule, even last minute emergencies. Connley has always explained thoroughly what has been done, and gave me fair prices. He just installed a tankless water heater and I will absolutely call them when I renovate my bathrooms.
Great, Honest plumber

Connley with Cannon Plumbing was recommended by a friend and he did a great job for me. He installed 2 sink faucets I had purchased and re-installed 2 more that had been installed incorrectly. I told him I was selling the house soon so he suggested checking the gas line to the A/C and water heater to make sure everything would pass inspection. The gas water heater (although recently installed by another company) was not to code, so Connley installed the correct fittings. He even gave me instructions on how to light the pilot light so I wouldn't have to pay someone to come out and do that. He did a great job and his prices were reasonable!

I contacted the owner Chris and made an appointment to meet him. He called within 45 minutes of the appointment to cancel and reschedule, meanwhile claiming that he does not run operate his business this way. I made myself available for the second appointment and he no showed. I contacted him and he told me that his assistant was in the area and should arrive soon. He said he would call me right back. Mind you this was close to an hour after the rescheduled appointment time. After about another fifteen minutes I called him again and my call went straight to voicemail. I called several more times... Same thing. I suspect that he LIED and instead of being HONEST he blocked my call, WHAT BUSINESS OWNER DOES THAT?!
Needless to say, he'll never get another phone call from me and will be reported to every online venue I can find! Don't hire this guy, looks like from another review his m.o. Is LYING to unsuspecting customers and instead of doing the responsible thing and owning up to a mistake he blocks your call!!

They were able to come out quickly and do an incredible job at a price that was very fair. We will be turning to them for all of our plumbing needs going forward. After bad experiences with other plumbers, they were a breath of fresh air!

We needed help with a water leak and they were extremely quick to respond. Did excellent work and professional!

We had Cannon Plumbing replace a tank water heater with a tankless type. My overall experience working with them was pretty terrible.
The owner Connley talked to me on the phone before the project, took all the information and sent me an estimate for a condensing type tankless water heater. The estimate was higher than others I had received, but a building/restoration contracting company I was working with recommended Cannon, so I took their word for it and went with them.
From start to finish, the job took longer than anticipated and communication was poor. I get that tradespeople may get stuck in a job resulting in other jobs getting delayed. But I expect proactive communication to let me know when they are going to be several hours late or no show up at all. I felt like Connley and Cannon Plumbing just took my time for granted and didn't think it was important to keep me informed if they weren't going to show up.
And to top it all, I discovered after the job was complete that the tankless heater model they installed was one that was several hundred dollars cheaper than the one they had indicated in the estimate as well as the final invoice at job completion.
I brought it to Connley's attention in early January. He promised someone will contact me to make this right. Given my priori experience with them, I wasn't holding my breath. It's now been over 3 months, and still there has been no attempt to get this corrected.
I would not recommend Cannon Plumbing to anyone.

DO NOT USE!! They don't deserve the one star I was forced to submit! Scheduled an appointment a week out. Did not show up, did not call, and did not answer their phones. Very unprofessional!!

They made an appt to show up to fix my plumbing issue between 2-4 PM. NEVER SHOWED UP! I called the owner and asked where they were and he said that he would check and call me back in two minutes. After 45 minutes, I called him and the call went straight to voicemail. I missed an entire afternoon of work to meet them. I will never call them again.

On memorial day the high winds pushed a branch from a bush covering our irrigation system valve and broke the feed to the valve. I have had such bad experience with all forms of contractors that I usually do all repairs myself; electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc. However, its just too hot and I am too busy, so I got some referrals from my neighbors and called all the potential contractors. In the end, Connley won my business by following up to my call, and questions. That's the 1st test -- communication.
Also, being capable of the work myself, Connley gave me a small discount realizing that I was on the fence and he had to be more competitive that the other contractors. This was the 2nd test -- flexibility in pricing.
Next, he arrived on time, was respectful, spoke clearly, articulate and listened to me, so I didn't have to explain things 3 times.
Lastly, he finished the repair, tested the water pressure, gave me time to verify things were working, in other words, he wasn't in a rush and left when the job was complete. I personally inspected the work, I am not a plumber, but I develop complex electromechanical systems, and even gluing a couple PVC pipes together can be done in a good or bad way.
Finally, he reviewed the work with me, showed me some mechanical aspects of the valve assembly for future testing and told me about the warranty (3 years, parts and labor) -- can't beat that.
In conclusion, Cannon Plumbing & Drain LLC, is a great local, owner operated business and not a large firm with sub-contractors. With Cannon, seems like you are going to get much better service since reviews like this can make or break the business :) Of course, Connley can only be in one place at a time, so you might need to wait a couple days for an appointment, but I would wait rather than use a larger service.
I definitely will use Cannon again, hopefully, I don't have to call them any time soon though, and nothing else breaks!
