Quick response. Had emergency water issue in bathroom tub faucet. They came, looked at it and immediately knew what the problem was. Then went to get parts and was fixed in no time! Well pleased with service and works like new. That faucet NEVER has worked that smoothly!

**RIP OFF Plumbers**, Don't use these LIERS for nothing the came out to our home yesterday and did what the wanted to do we , we asked for them to replace the Shut off water valve in the back of the refrigerator it was leaking, I have a new refrigerator coming and needed this fixed to get ice & water. These Thieves came in and Cut the Valve completely OFF caped it and charged $430 for this .. Why would we EVER say cut the valve off ?? With out the Valve we get no ice or water?? Once we realized what they had did he wanted another $750 to do what we Originally ask for!! What??? Hell no,!! Oh yeah they only take CASH that's a RED Flag.. I won't stop here next I will lunch a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau of California, I encourage you to do the same if you were done wrong like us.. We work to hard for our Money to keep letting these Crooks running these company's get away with it!!

I had a leak in the water main pipe in my front yard. Called Caltek. Jesus came out, looked at it and quoted me $1,250.00 to fix/replace the broken elbow PVC piece. Said it was a flat rate. Basically told him that I considered that highway robbery and that I wasn't interested. Then, I called another (reputable) plumbing company. They came out and fixed the problem on the spot for a flat $300.00. You can do your own math! Ridiculous!

EDIT to respond to the business owner: Thank you for your reply. You are 100% correct in that I should do better research in the future, which is why I said shame on me. I did not know how much this may cost and that is why I did not decline service. It was not until afterwards when I shared with some people what I spent that I was told I may have been taken advantage of and called around. Had I of known better, I would have thanked your plumber for his time and sent him on his way. I also acknowledge that my service call was on a Saturday which warrants an added surcharge. Next time I know yo ask for an itemized estimate that explains all charges and fees before I accept service. I thank you for this lesson. I would again like to reiterate that Jordan was very polite and performed a quality install of the disposal.


Unfortunately for myself I was desperate to have my kitchen sink leak fixed on a Saturday afternoon and because of that I believe I was taken advantage of. The plumbing company I normally use was unavailable so I called CalTek. When Jordan got to the house I was quoted $610 to replace the garbage disposal which included a $40 first time customer discount. It was not until after the work was done that I was told by multiple people that I was bamboozled with that price, so I started doing some research. The garbage disposal used can be found at Costco for $99. Now I understand that a Saturday last minute call may warrant an ""emergency fee"" however I now realize that $500 for labor is absolutely ridiculous. I called the company I normally use and asked them for an approximate charge to replace a disposal on a Saturday and they said $285 with the disposal included. I should have just ordered take out over the weekend and waited until Monday when my regular company was available. Shame on me. The only reason I gave two stars is because Jordan was polite and did a good job installing the disposal. It is very unfortunate to feel taken advantage of because I was unaware of the costs and desperate.

Jordan was punctual, honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was able to locate the leak, assess the issue and repair with one fell swoop. He is a great technician in his field and I would recommend him and this company.

Called to have a plumber come out and fix a leak that was in the garage. The plumber showed up, assessed the situation and informed us that he could repair the leak going through our garage. A huge hole was cut into the wall of the garage and the pipes were made accessible. The plumber decided that instead of cutting a notch into the piece of wood on the foundation, he decided to cut through our dinning room wall, molding to lift up the pipe and repair it. This avenue he decided on was never discussed with us. So he proceeded to cut through our wall and into our wood molding to be able to reach his hand through the floor to lift the piece of pipe. Once we saw this was taking place we stopped the work and began discussing this with the plumber, calmly. When addressing our concerns, the plumber got agitated and informed us that the issue was his error, he would have the company send someone out to repair the hole in our wall and was leaving without finishing up the repair to the pipe because he was too stressed out. I have the conversation between the plumber and ourselves recorded. I phoned the company and spoke with the receptionist and informed her of our problem. She said that she was going to assess the pics the plumber took and have someone come out and fix the hole in our wall and damaged molding. We know that this will not be completed to the current state of the wall and molding. Regarding the repair to our hot water line, she said they will not be sending anyone to make the repair. This clearly is a very shoddy and unprofessional company and I truly hope that future customers take this as a warning and do not use this company for any plumbing repairs to their home.

Rudy was excellent. I had an emergency blocked main pipe that had caused a significant amount of water to pool in my lower level. Called CalTek and Rudy appeared within an hour. He worked unclogged the main pipe, restored everything and even helped to clean out a sink. He was professional, punctual, and helpful and I would certainly recommend him, and/or CalTek Plumbing.

1. Had plumbing issues November 24 2021.

2. The plumber came over at 9:00Pm. $200.00 just to walk in the door. (fair)

3. The main feed was backed up thus sewage was backing into both tubs in both bathrooms.

4. The plumber had to remove the toilet for access. $650.00 (standard)

5. The plumber snaked and the far bathroom cleared but the tub in the bathroom where he snaked did not.

6. He told us to put drano in that tub. Since it was the night before Thanksgiving , we let him go even though the job wasn't complete. We thought they would come back and finish the job if the drano didn't work.

7. They tried to tell us that feed to that tub was blocked, spoiler it wasn't. The water eventually went down, very slowly but eventually backed up again. Plus when taking showers, both tubs backed up. Flushing was slow too.

8. December 6 the issue fully showed itself again. This is not surprising because the job was not completed correctly the first time. Both tubs backed up again.

9. Called the plumber back. $250.00 (I removed the toilet myself)

10. The same plumber snaked the same toilet but this time both tubs cleared as all other water in the system cleared as well.

11. The plumber then said ""NOW IT IS All CLEARED"", implying it wasn't cleared the first time.

12. The plumber walked into our house without a mask, I found out he did so the first visit as well.

There is no doubt in my mind that on the 11/24 visit he did not do the job correctly. Maybe he was in a hurry because it was late and thanksgiving. Caltek office said the first visit wasn't guaranteed. Fair enough but how about doing the job correctly the first time? No guarantee of that either apparently.

We recently remodeled our kitchen and noticed the drain backing up in the kitchen sink and the sink in the garage. We gave Caltek a call. The technician, Rudy, arrived ahead of schedule and did a terrific job. After giving us a straightforward estimate, He quickly and cleanly ran the snake and found the problem. Very knowledgeable and polite.
