I usually don't post reviews, but l had to make an exception for this one. Had an issue with our home drainage /pipes into the main sewer line. While four other Plumbing companies gave me estimates for what was to be ""major pipe repairs"", Elmer's examination of the pipes proved otherwise and provided me with a solution that didn't cost thousands of dollars in unneeded work. His honesty and workmanship saved us money, time and a big headache. Recommend wholeheartedly. Thank you Calix Plumbing! Bonnie A.

As many in this area realized, they had polybutylene piping within their home. We had lived here for over 30 years with no issues but we knew that if we sold our house red flags would appear.

We received many quoted to re-pipe our house with pex piping and settled on Calix Plumbing because Elmer impressed us the most. Best move I have made in a while. Elmer communicated well with us and gave specific descriptions of what would transpire in terms of work and time table. He and his crew showed up on time and treated our house with respect. Their work was excellent and the job was done in two days. They cleaned up the mess that was made each day cutting into the drywall. They were personable and always explaining issues or asking us how we wanted something done. They were very professional in every aspect of this job. We didn't have one issue with Elmer or his crew. Very pleased and highly recommend!

Yesterday was my first interaction with Calix Plumbing. Earnest who is the principal of this company, went out of his way to get all the approvals and setup time to replace our hot water in less than 24 hours.

Very professional team, guys (Danny and Jose) were great. They took care of our property by putting down cloth, wearing booties. Always had a mask on to protect themselves and us.

Explain the how water system, took time explaining it. We above and beyond to make sure everything is 100% without a single issue.

These guys did an amazing job. They took and insurance company bid Friday afternoon and rearranged their schedule to come out Saturday morning to fix this. They showed up early and located the problem quickly. They ran into a problem when none of the big box stores had the reducer they needed and their normal supplier was closed. However, they called their supplier and got them to open up the store and get them the part. They where professional and did a great job. I would recommend these guys to anyone and will use them again in the future.

We discovered that our copper pipes were deteriorating after two leaks in a 24 hour period. We had several plumbers come give us an estimate to replumb our entire house. Calix had very competitive pricing. After not having water for over a week, we were ecstatic when we made the decision to use them on Saturday, that they were able to come on Tuesday and be done by Thursday. He also ensured that we had one full working bathroom before they left on Tuesday. The whole crew was professional and did quality work. There was a hiccup after they left (not caused by the crew) and Elmer came back and fixed it for us. He is a good, honest businessman. Highly recommend.

Elmer and his brother replaced my main water line, about 50 feet from the house to the curb water meter, under the Home Serve insurance (Dominion Energy) program. They did an exceptionally fine job, did not have to tear up concrete in my basement as one plumbing company thought would have to be done, replaced my ancient main shut off valve with a new ball valve, chose the best solution for the material and layout of the new water line, explained what they intended to do and then did a great job. They have up to date equipment and are careful with the digging. They arrived when they promised and have years of experience with main water lines. Very happy with this master plumber's work.
(Note that my policy with Home Serve, excludes replacement of drywall removed to access the water line in the basement or whereever. That said, they made a neat cut and it can be patched fairly easily.)

Extremely pleased with the service we received from Calix today. Replaced our water heater in record time. Done professionally, tested and working perfectly. We were given good information about what to do to maintain it in good working order for years to come. They specified a timeframe for arrival and were here when they said they'd be. They advised us of the cost up front, no hidden, added charges. Reasonable prices. Would highly recommend this company.

Elmer and his brother fixed all my issues, did neat work, were exactly on time and showed me why I had an intermittent toilet leak, which seemed very odd to me.

Elmer and Dennis were called by Homeserve, which is the insurance company that works with Dominion power to replace water lines. I can't speak more highly to the work they did and the courtesy they displayed while here. Instead of the less expensive, but more intrusive repair that the insurance company initially wanted to do, Elmer convinced them to replace the entire water line from the meter into the house. We were without water for about four hours but the job was done in one day (Other than coming back early the next morning to fill in the trench they had to dig from the water meter past where the utilities were buried.) their cleanup exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend Calix.
