We had our 3300 square foot home re-piped by California Repipe Specialist in June 2018. We had estimates from four companies before contacting CRS. All estimates were within a few hundred dollars of each other. What made CRS stand out was the quick and no hassle estimate provided by Shane. While other companies attempted to up-sell us on fixtures, Shane did not. His estimate included quality fixtures at no additional cost. The work performed by his team was excellent and the water was back on about 10 hours after start of the work. The project supervisor, Mark was very helpful in accommodating changes that I required which were not in the original estimate. I wanted them to hook up a water conditioning system in my garage instead of outside. Mark gave me a price for the change which was substantial. He then worked with me to bring the cost down. The work was done perfectly and to my satisfaction. A couple of days after the re-pipe was done I had a couple of issues. I called Shane. I can attest to his abrasive nature however, after I fully explained the issue, he had his best plumber at my home the next day to address the issues to my complete satisfaction. I have read the other negative comments about Shane however, I can say to not be turned off by this because he is very reasonable and the end result is worth being patient. Even the inspector was very pleased with the quality of the work.

Shane and crew were great throughout. The quote process was straightforward and convenient scheduling. We had water by 4 PM the day of the work (a Saturday)! Interior finish work was great. Finished within 48-72 hours. The only hiccup was some extended outside stucco finish, mainly as a result of the AV town inspector being difficult. Had to reschedule a few times to be sure all approvals were done and the get stucco finisher there. The work itself was impeccable.

While we did get a great price, the customer service aspect, especially from the owner is terrible the worst.

The company had to return twice for rework. Once for something they forgot and once to correct an item caught from the city code inspector.
Also, they put all the connection in very tight places so that if you ever have to replace a line or faucet, it is very difficult.

We also called to have an item inspected but we were told, rudely, that it was probably not their fault and if they came out it would cost $125 service fee.

Shane and his crew repiped my single family home the day after Christmas. They arrived promptly at 7 AM. I would estimate that there were about 15 guys in all. The guys each immediately split into teams and each person had a clearly defined roll. All of my house was covered from the door to each location. L Grade copper was used throughout. Water heater, Comfort system and Nuvo filter were installed at the same time for a very reasonable price after getting many quotes from companies of the same caliber. There were a few small issues after the job was done, but Shane sent someone the following day to do all patch work and all minor issues were addressed. Job was done in one day, with patching done the next. All of my concerns were addressed directly by the owner, Shane himself. Overall wouldnt hesitate to recommend California Repipe Specialists. They went the extra mile and did several custom small jobs at my request free of charge. Thanks again, our water pressure is great and our water is as close to instantly hot as possible.

I never used there services. I did not feel that they were reliable nor professional. I responded to their paid paper ad, no one answered, left a message and finally received a return call 2- 3 days later. An appointment was set. I called again during a normal business time to confirm the appointment. A woman answered who sounded like she just woke up. She gave me to another woman who said Shane was not going to be able to make it. I made another appointment for 5 days later. On the day of the 2nd. appointment I again called to narrow down the time he would arrive. Again, no one answered, I left a voicemail stating the reason for my call & left my phone number, no return call. After 2 hours I called again. This time Shane answered but he claimed to have no knowledge of our appointment! I did not attempt a 3rd. appointment!
I do not recommend doing business with this company.

The crew was very polite. They prepped the house to insure there was no damage or mess and cleaned up every day before they left. They completed the project right on time. We highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking about repiping their home.

I cannot recommend California Repipe Specialists. Shane speaks a good game when bidding for your business, but his tone sure changes when things go south. They failed inspection TWICE and ultimately did not leave my house in what I'd consider ""paint-ready"" condition. What was supposed to be a 2-3 day job was not completed for five WEEKS. And I had to follow-up with Shane more than twice to make that happen. I didn't push for a discount (none was offered!) because I just wanted to be done with them.

Shane and his crew are professional, knowledgeable, and know how to get a big job done efficiently and quickly. Our entire home was repiped and redrained in one day. The price was fair and competitive too (we had gotten several estimates). Great job, California Repipe Specialist; we highly recommend you!

This family-owned company is a class act. A large team of experienced people comes in (like nine guys) and completes the entire repipe in one day. They are all so hardworking and diligent. The next step is another team to repair all the holes--same thing, great people. No disappointments. This is as painless as a repiping can get.

The reason I chose California Repipe is because the owner, Shane, really made every effort to preserve our home from unnecessary damage. In our house no tile was damaged. This was not true of other quotes I had gotten from other companies. It's because Shane has done the work himself; he is not just a salesman.

About 6 weeks ago, California repipe specialist repiped my duplex. About a week later on a Sunday morning the pipe entering the duplex burst where the plumbers made the connection to the water supply line on the side of the duplex. I was out of town, so my tenant called an emergency plumbing service to stop the water that was gushing out of the failed connection and flowing down the driveway and down the street.

California Repipe did not leave any contact information for problems with my tenants.

My tenant had to pay for the Sunday emergency repair before the emergency repair plumber left. I presented California Repipe Specialist the invoice to reimburse my tenant and the company refused to pay the bill.

The failed connection was clearly made by the California Repipe Specialist plumbers. Yet, the company refuses to take any responsibility for the faulty work.

There are are other companies to choose from; I will never again use this company for any work that needs to be done on any of my Orange County properties.
