Would give 6 stars if I could. I discovered a nasty plumbing problem via leaking from the cleanout. Problem involves demo due to lack of a crawlspace or entry. I called several plumbers and arranged for all to arrive on the same day and provide estimates. Only California Plumbing showed up - but I didn't need anyone else. Chico showed up on time, was already working when I arrived. He located and explained the problem, answered all my questions sincerely and directly (a great thing). As someone else wrote, I felt empowered and educated. Chico is a real asset to his employer. He has a gift for ferreting out the problem, determining multiple solutions and explaining them to the layperson in ways that are clear and comprehensible. Really exceeded my expectations and made a complex, expensive plumbing problem a lot more palatable.

My water heater went out, I called them and set up an appt. Alex was the tech, called ahead of time, got a tech from their main office with a picture and contact info if I needed it. Estimate was quick and straight forward. Alex was very honest in his assessment and not pushy in any way. The water heater was replaced really quick. Alex had a partner whose name I forgot but he was super polite and nice. California plumbing is good with customer service, timeliness and quality of work. I'm glad I called them.

I used California Plumbing as I had a clogged bathroom sink and water leaking Under my kitchen sink. They were able to quickly ascertain the problems including that the situation with the kitchen sink was because of a small gap between the top of the sink and the countertop. As the sink and countertop are new I'm now getting that fixed from my contractor. There was no charge in the diagnosis.

As for the bathroom sink they were able to clean out the drain and ensure my other bathroom drain also was fine.

The two plumbers who came out were knowledgeable and excelled in communication. A pleasant experience but an unpleasant problem

Showed up on time. Took the time to review all our issues. With their equipment they learned we have an electrical problem and maybe not a pump problem. Once we get the electrical fixed, if the pump is still not working, we will definitely give them a call back!

Beware...Beware Expensive! Its easy to say that prices are fair and reasonable but the reality is quite different. Needed to replace the gas line connector that was leaking and these guys were available for a routine visit later in the day. Arrived at 3pm and finished at 420pm including a trip for parts. My shock was the cost........$850.00 for 1 hr and 20min work. Thats $638 per hour. You may not agree but I felt this was really steep. Then to top it off we discovered the following morning that we had no hot water. Apparently when turning off our gas suppy the water heater pilot went out and the technician never mentioned it or asked to check. Perhaps a minor thing but annoying given the price. And last, I had the privilege of cleaning up the scraps left by the tecnician. Fool me once but never again!

Very helpful! Shared picture and name of the plumero coming to muy house so I knew who to expect. Service was quick, they explained the damage and connected me with the appropriate contractors

I was able to schedule an appointment right away for them to fix the toilet downstairs. Hector M. removed some roots which caused the toilet to clogged. He also tested the toilet, cleaned the bowl as well as his work area. Removing some roots is just a temporary fix and he advised a permanent fix which costs more money but I'll definitely do it in the future.

The service fee is reasonable as well as the cost of their service. I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

I got an estimate for drain cleaning in patio and installing a new drain out beyond my back fence. I'm sure they would have done a great job and I liked the guy very much. The estimate was $6500. BUT I got a referral from a friend, and 2 independent guys came and did the whole thing for $900. They did a great job and I saved $5600!

I had a leak and called them at 3:30 on a weekday. They indicated that they did not have any openings for several days and that I would need to pay the substantially higher rate for emergency service, beginning at 6pm, which I agreed to. Nevertheless, they said they would try to squeeze me in that afternoon, if possible, and, if so, they would bill at their normal rate. Much to my surprise, they did manage to squeeze me in their normal, non-emergency service on the same day, with the plumber arriving just before 6pm. He diagnosed the problem and promised to return early the next day with the parts needed for the repair. He did exactly that and fixed the problem the next day at a cost that I found to be exceptionally modest and reasonable. I could not have asked for better service.

Chico was awesome very informative glad I had him come over for repair. We had a main line leak that needed repair and he came through.
