Nothing bad to say about California Plumbing. Quick to answer and send out a plumber. They were young but knowledgeable. Hector and Ernesto offered good suggestions and walked me through the alternatives for my bathtub that was backing up. When asked, they expressed their honest opinion about previous plumbing jobs done at the house. I was quite pushy about wanting to run the camera through the main line. Hector reached out to the Co. and set up an appointment to come back out the next day with the equipment and Ernesto who operates it. I also wanted footage as a reference, and Ernesto went back in there to record and handed me the USB, no ifs or buts. They cut nicely into the drywall which made it easier for me to patch, so thanks for that too. Fair pricing, btw!

Had a tankless hot water heater installed by another plumber, however, it wasn't heating the water throughout my house properly, so I called California Plumbing to get a ""second opinion"".

The plumber showed up on time, was professional and very nice. Unfortunately, he told me there was nothing he could do to fix my not-so-great situation. The diagnostics charge was $200.

No problem there at all. Things went sideways when I mentioned that there was no hot water in my bathroom sinks. My hall bathroom has a brand new vanity, and the drawers in the vanity needed to be removed by the plumber in order for him to take a look. Now, two of the drawers seemed to be off track. When I tried to fix them, I realized that the hot water hose had come loose and was now leaking inside the vanity. I turned off the water, got my own pliers and secured the nut at the top. So at least that got fixed.

However, the hardware on my drawers also seem kind of messed up still. At least I am not able to get the drawers back on track the way there were before the plumber came by.

So, if I needed another plumber, I would still call these guys, I just would remove any drawers or barriers to the plumbing myself before they get there.

My guest bathroom pedestal sink was leaking. CA plumbing came out replaced the pipe and installed a new sink. The bathroom was left in better condition then when they showed up. Very clean they removed all trash. Highly recommend! I will definitely be using them for Plumbing needs in the future.

Shane was polite, helpful and very efficient. We had an unusual request for the water valve under the kitchen sink. Shane immediately understood our desire and replaced the existing valve with a significantly superior one. He did not have the parts with him as we did not want the usual repair. He immediately drove out to the right store and brought the parts back to repair the valve the way we wanted it. This was all done in less than 2 hours. He cleaned up after himself. This worked out so much better than expected and we will definitely use him again!

He identified the issue (burst pipe), referred me to someone for next steps around insurance, led the team that replaced my main line, and relocated pipes for my new bathroom. Absolutely the best experience I've had with any plumbing service and any other plumber EVER. I called California Plumbing to fix a kitchen sink that was leaking buckets from underneath the sink and had covered my whole kitchen floor with water. After the cleanup, I was constantly having to empty out containers catching the water and replacing towels to keep it ""somewhat"" under control. I live in an apartment, so I have to go through the (terrible) property management to resolve maintenance issues. They sent a plumber who seemed baffled by the problem and tinkered around for all of 5 minutes before getting up and telling me -in the form of a question- ""uh... I think it's fixed? Keep an eye on it."" And was out the door. He actually ended up finding a way to make the problem worse! I was not about to call him back to work on the issue as he clearly had absolutely no idea how to fix. So I did some research and, based on other very positive reviews, called California Plumbing. They had a plumber at my door within the hour!

His name is Devan Elson, and not only was he a complete professional and a really nice guy; he was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain what the problem was in detail so that I could better understand what was going wrong and why! On top of that, he took the time to exhaust every other possible remedies, tested them in every way possible and made absolutely sure that nothing was overlooked before he left. AND the cost for the work at the end was totally reasonable and fair! I will be calling them for any plumbing needs in the future and I cannot recommend this company enough!!

We had an issue with our plumbing that needed prompt (although not emergency) attention. I called Thursday and they answered the phone (unlike another company that I tried) and set up an appointment for a technician to come the next morning.
Alex Gonzalez showed up right on time and quickly evaluated and fixed both of the problems we were experiencing. He was friendly, polite and professional and took the time to explain the situation and educate us regarding several aspects of our home's plumbing. He did excellent work and we would recommend California Plumbing to anyone in need of plumbing services!
