If there was a way to grant more stars, I would have. From the first interaction with the office (Lauren) to the guy (Daven) who came over, it was a perfect experience. When we saw they had a 5-star rating, we were doubtful. But when Daven came, he was more than kind, explained to us what we saw on the camera screen, and was able to take video on his phone and send it to us. Eventually, the Klug in our line was cleared, and he found that the issue was on the city side. We called another firm before we called California plumbing, and they wanted to charge us hundreds of dollars, sighting this as a holiday job. He said anyone we would call would be the same. That drove us to try one more outfit. The original quote from California plumbing was lower. We liked that $35 would get a person to your house and a quote, which sounds totally fair nowadays. Daven told us to call the city and ask them to come over, and the city said they needed to hear from a plumber, not an owner. I texted Daven, and he called the city, and got it all squared away. The city will come over and do their magic with Hydro-power snake that hopefully will get this saga done and over. If you need an honest plumbing company, choose California Plumbing.

I had problems with a guest bathroom toilet that was clogged and which I believed had a pipe that had roots growing inside because I used a small auger and took out a small amount of what appeared to be roots. I found California Plumbing on Yelp. While I called 2 others I hesitated to hire them and called California Plumbing. The woman I spoke with assigned someone to come out the same day. I was assigned Chico. While my problem morphed into a much complex job, Chico was actually professional, explained everything he was doing to locate the problem/ roots and still being sensitive to the costs. He was very neat and cleaned up after his work as well as providing a temporary fix as the entire job will require replacing the toilet piping which is underneath the tub and concrete slab. An estimate is forthcoming. He actually cleared out all the roots he could see using the camera as well as using a much larger auger. While I hate plumbing problems, having professionals like Chico makes the process doable.

We needed a Gas Line added to our existing line for a gas range. ""Alex"" came out for an estimate and when we were ready, Alex also came back and did an outstanding job installing the gas line. Alex clearly explained all the work before the job started and expectations. after the job Alex walked me through what he did. Great customer service and very professional!

Had a hot water slab leak that went undiagnosed by incompetent plumbers my HOA sent and they told me it wasn't a slab leak. I believed them. Meanwhile my gas bills kept rising, my floor was warm, and my cold water tap was coming out warm so I had to figure out the issue. So I called California plumbing who recommended I call CPL since all clues pointed to a slab leak. So I forced my HOA to call the leak detection experts at CPL and they did indeed confirm the hot water slab leak within 2 seconds. Plumber HOA sent wasted an hour of my life convincing me it wasn't a slab leak and is responsible for letting the leak go on for months. I wish I had the time to sue him. I made sure my HOA used California plumbing and not their useless third rate plumbers they usually send. California plumbing were super quick and responsive. Benji and another technician made quick work of rerouting an new hot water line in my ceilings and walls for the entire condo. They did it in less than 5 hours. Would definitely use them again! Don't ever fully trust plumbers HOA send or any plumbers for diagnosing a slab leak! Always defer to CPL as they are the only trusted authority on finding leaks underground. Call CPL to detect the underground leak if you feel all signs point to a slab leak and then call California plumbing to fix!
