Just said goodbye to Chase, the plumber, who efficiently took care of my clogged toilet. He arrived a bit earlier than promised, on the day I called, and finished much quicker than I imagined it would take. Chase was friendly, competent, and pleasant to interact with. I only have one toilet in my house, and it was imperative that the clogged toilet get fixed quickly. I would not hesitate to use California Hydro Jet & Rooter Service again.

This review is long overdue. We started out looking for a sewer inspector. Chase was highly recommended here on Yelp and also by a fantastic home inspection group. Chase did 3 sewer inspections for us including a very difficult one and we were immediately impressed by his professionalism, friendly positive attitude, and creative problem-solving. Now Chase handles all our plumbing needs, we won't trust any other plumber, and he's one of our favorite contractors. He should be the one training this city's plumbers!

Could not recommend Chase higher. We have a laundromat in Pasadena and wanted to do a PM jet. After having talked with two other highly reviewed companies, I decided to wait for Chase even though he couldn't do the work right away.

He was professional, used his camera the entire time and was even able to cut out some tree roots he discovered. He was great to work with and will call on him for our other laundry and recommend him to my colleagues.

I don't think I've seen a company who has almost 50 reviews and a straight 5 star rating-- there is not one 4, 3, 2, or 1 star. All 5 stars and not one bad review, and for good reason. Chase takes his time explaining the situation. He knows plumbing and he doesn't take advantage of the fact that most his clients don't. He cleared out two pipes for me and did it with a smile. When I paid him, I also did it with a smile!

Chase came out yesterday and did a great job at cleaning out my garden drain that was in danger of flooding my house if we had another rain like Friday's 5 inches. He also ordered me a part for another plumbing issue I had and is going to stop by and put it in for me. I would 100% recommend Chase.

I had some root intrusion into my backyard drain so I called up Chase, the owner, to take a look. After looking at the issue, he tried hydro jetting the drain, hoping to get the roots out. Unfortunately, it did not work. He then gave me suggestions on how to get the roots out, including digging the pipe out and replacing them. I had other plumbers suggesting the same before they even tried hydro jetting. They all wanted $1200+ but Chase had suggested that this type of work should only cost $800 to a plumber but then he suggested to hire a gardener instead. I asked my gardener and he only wanted $15 an hour and he said it would only take at most a couple hours. Best part? Chase did NOT charge me a penny for his advice and half an half an hour of trying to hydro jet. He also gave me a bunch of other suggestions on maintaining the drain. After this drain gets fixed by my gardener, I plan to have him hydro jet my entire line. His rates are also very competitive.

Chase was great, I had just snaked my pipe and I was worried I cracked my pipe, I called Chase stopped by and used his camera and then started to jet my pipe. He found no crack and he cleaned out a lot of roots that the snake did not get. He was very thorough and took his time. He actually charged me less than what he quoted, he was at my place for a few hours too!! Other will just leave after the drain is clear and charge you, without the camera, you might still have roots or other blockage that the snake or Jet did not get on the first or second pass.
